  I just found out what the problem is freakin ' and the solution. If the inserted videos have different "video codec" then it will not work!

  Before adding videos to Movie Maker, throw in a video converter and convert them all. (Even if the original format is WMV, convert again to WMV) that will ensure the output videos have the same codec!

• All script text list missing files with additional data?

  I'm looking for a way to export the file names of the missing files, as well as we hope some data (shooting date and duration for videos).

  Is there any Mac-compatible quick script that can achieve this? (I found a python script on the dpreview forum, but it was for windows).

  The reason is simple:

  -J' lost a RAID partition on my external drives and with it a large part of my data.

  -I could get most of it, but not all, and because it was a Mac partition, I lost the file names.

  -J' used exiftool to extract the original name and filming date RAW files, and a Terminal command allowed my reorganize these folder in logic (date function) to be relocated in Lightroom with a minimal effort.

  -Videos are another story, they do not have the original in the exif data name, only date... So while I could rearrange them in relevant records, that it takes me ages through lightroom, compare missing videos for this folder and rename it after checking the duration (as not all videos have been recovered, I can't rename it blindly).

  If I get a text list of:

  -Lack of file names

  -Shooting date

  -Duration

  I could use a terminal script to compare the EXIF of recovered files and rename them.

  I have a WinXP SP3 system with a SATA 2 TB to the additional internal address as a data reader. This player has only the data (.mp3, video) files in a directory and has never been used for anything other than data files. There is only one directory for the files, and although it is four levels of subdirectories to the bottom, the tree is only these four subdirectories.

  A week ago, I noticed that the free disk space on this drive jumped from 350 GB up to 1.2 TB, leaving about 600 GB of data on the disc (about 2 500 files). After checking what is obvious (Rebreather, etc.), I noticed that the missing files were all from one file *. * to n *. * and [0-9] *. *. All files beginning with o *. * to z *. * are still there. So, essentially, Miss me about 9 000 files.

  I checked to see if the missing files could be cancelled or retrieved and downloaded several utilities 'undelete' recovery or data. All public services showed that there was no data to recover, that is, the files just disappeared or evaporated.

  Where did they go? I'm totally distraught about it.

  The files are not hidden, because the reduction of space disk; hidden files still take up the space.

  I didn't something in training in the hope of recovering the data. I thought that perhaps an index obtained corrupted or deleted because files deleted did not appear in the correct order of the directory index. I ran a chkdsk on the volume, he came to own, and the files were still missing. If the files have been deleted in alphabetical order, they would still be "deleted", recoverable files?

  R - Studio found the files missing, but only about 75% of them were really recoverable. Those who were not recovered was a length of zero byte. The advantage is that the names of the files were still intact, so at least I know which ones to re - create. The downside is that it's a few thousand files that need to be redone. That will take time, but a lot less time that I would have had to spend to recreate all missing files.

  R Studio also found entries previously deleted files, and I got these, too. However, the recovered files are damaged and unusable. Given that I didn't really need those, it wasn't a problem. I mention this simply as something that R-Studio accomplished (and the other tools do not have).

  The recovery is complete in terms of finding the missing files and restoring their readers to spare.  It took a lot of time, about three days I was doing piecemeal in bursts of 500 GB move the files recovered on spare disks. I'll move the files that I had not lost before out of the disc problem, as well, and then replace it. readers are cheap these days.   :-)

  I don't understand exactly how errors in the two newspapers are related, but my opinion is that, if I can solve my CheckSUR.log errors, CBS.log errors will disappear to, and then I might even be able to install SP1.

  For what is interesting, what I ended up doing to solve my problems was to re - install Vista with the 'upgrade' option, so I don't lose any of my files or desktop settings...

  After that, I had a few problems with my OS reinstalled with several (80 +) updates, SP1 and SP2 from catching up.  But overall these problems were minor compared to it, that I lived just to fix some missing files.

  I recently found a folder "Programs" in my "All programs" folder in my Start menu. This folder contained essentially all my custom folders as well as the default folders and icons to the start menu. Because I thought it was a duplicate, I decided to remove it and then realized what he deleted all files recently opened and all my custom folders (apps, games, programming etc.).

Missing images are not on my computer, but when the document opens the images are there. I can copy and paste the INDD images in Illustrator. Y files/images/I am able to copy and paste the images that have been incorporated into the INDD file in AI of the INDD file? If this is not what type of image am I copy and paste? Can I take the images that I stuck in there and place them in a new INDD document and have the images to reproduce without problems?

  The images could be anything - check the links Panel.

  What you see (and copy) is just the screen preview, not the actual image data.

  'Download Support Advisor' is a generic error, and we need to understand what is causing the problem. Most of the time, its a problem with the download was not successful or downloaded correctly.
