multi card reader

I have a hpe-450 t (presario). the table Bay (above the optical drive) has a double USB port, a multicard reader, and the on-off switch. my user's guide does not include the instructions to replace the multicard reader. on the PC that do * not * have the USB drive, move requires the user to remove the two screws and remove the card reader on the left and get out. because the USB drive is to the left of the multicard reader, this technique does not work. suggestions, please on how to remove the dual USB drive so I can get the outside multicard reader, or another way to remove the multicard reader. Thank you!

Please see this HP guide "to replace the memory card reader" for instructions on removing the card reader. Steps 4 and 5 describe how to remove the USB module is a problem to remove.

Please send Bravo

  • Multi-card reader don't like to give back the cards Memory Stick Duo Pro 23 Pavilion all-in-one

I want to just make sure I don't do something wrong.

When I plug it into a SD card seats when inserted about 2/3 of the way into the slot and I can easily put my fingers on it to remove it when it's time to take it out.  When I plug the Memory Stick Duo Pro that is not recognized until it is at least inserted 9/10 and I can push completely rinse with a case and am not sure that it has bottomed out or not.  It works fine, but now it is not removable without the use of pliers tweezers.

Is this normal behavior and waited for the mult card reader integrated into 23 all-in-one Pavilion?

I have a more than adequate solution.  I plugged in the little USB card reader that accepts MS Pro Duo in their own homes. This post is therefore more closely to ensure that I'm not missing something obvious.

My guess is that the drive or the motherboard was designed for the case to be a little closer it is.

    Hello @MarksPavilion,

    If the problem persists...

    Do a system restore point.

Unplug all USB devices (except the dongle of keyboard on the underside).

    Start in safe mode.

Uninstall all USB hubs, storage devices, controllers

  • Satellite Pro A200: Card reader does not work after installing XP

    Hello...

I deleted Windows Vista from my Satellite Pro A200 for XP Home.
I'm much happier with the machine now, but I am unable to get any response from the card reader. There is no mention in the manual supplied with the machine.
I cannot find any reference to it in the Control Panel hardware Manager and nothing changes here in it when I insert a SD memory card.

I had no cause to try the drive before removing Vista, so I don't know if it never worked... Although I guess he did.
A search of a pilot running in the download section had no success, and this forum has no direct answers.

Does anyone have an idea what I have to do to make this work?

    Hello

I put t see serious reasons why your card reader shouldn't run with installed Windows XP t/function.
What you need is the right driver.

The Toshiba driver page provides all the drivers Win XP and there is also an XP driver for the multi card reader.

You need a Texas Instruments Flash Media Driver. He is a driver for your bridge Media Slot.
This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.

    Hello Mike

One thing confuses me. If the unit has the multi card reader factory settings must be configured correctly. You use your own installation of the OS?

In any case, try to remove device from digital storage secure from Device Manager, then restart the device.

  • The Multi Media Card reader does not work on M30X-128!

I have some problems with the MMC card reader on my M30X 128: i.e. SONY Memory Stick is regularly recognized as plugged into the slot, I can see it in the taskbar windows at the bottom of the screen and I can also remove it safely, but it does not appear in 'my computer resources such as he has done in the past.
I already tried to remove and reinstall the drivers, but without success.
Is there anyone who can help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

have you tried to use the memory stick in another computer? The problem is perhaps on the stick not on the drive.

If the memory stick is OK, I think that you need to restore the system with the recovery CD.

    Thank you

    Hello @shamrock838,

I understand that your desktop HP Pavilion 500 - c60 PC does not support the biggest Compact Flash Memory Card and you are curious as to whether or not you can install an USB multicard Reader which accepts the memory card see First of all, you have reason 7 - in1 media card reader did it installed does not supported CF memory card, but it supports the following cards:

    • Digital safe™ (SD)
    • Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC)
    • SDXC
    • Memory Stick
    • Memory Stick Select
    • Memory Stick PRO
    • Memory Stick MagicGate

I don't see why you can't connect the 4 - in1 USB multicard reader you have. Until the operating system detects and installs, you should be fine.

I hope that I have answered your question to your satisfaction. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • What type of SD card in the HP spectrum SD card reader can accommodate?

Recently very a spectrum of HP (product no. E5J34AV). The laptop can accommodate a SD card.

However I don't know whay type of SD card cell phone can read.

Is there anyway to determine the type of SD card without buy different SD cards and test.

    Supports SD/SDHC/SDXC, mmc flash cards.

Most of them come with an adapter that you can insert the micro media card.

You will need the adapter so you can use it in multi-format HP Digital Media Card Reader of the spectrum ultrabook.

  • Lightning to a resolution of the camera the incompatible SD card reader image

I use the lightning to drive camera SD card with my iPhone 6 more (iOS 9.3.5) and MacBook Pro running Photos:

    Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    Digital camera RAW 6.20 (856)

Digital Camera Support RAW 6200 (233)

Import RAW files from my Olympus EM10 on my iPhone, and then when I discovered the images in the Photos on my Mac I see incompatible resolution information.

These are two consecutive images taken with identical settings...

Drag the two images of Photos on my desktop (export in JPEG) then they have the correct resolution information...

Also interesting. If I import these pictures directly on my Mac via the built in card reader, I do not see this problem.

OK - when you import on an IOS device (the exact details are better ask in the forum iPad since it does not involve the Mac or Photos for the Mac somehow - it's strictly an IOS feature) in certain circumstances the maximum resolution is 2400 x 3200

Your best solution is to import directly to your Mac
