• 515E eth0 and eth1 not see each and other networks

  I feel like a n00b here, but I am having trouble with something that should be simple, so note the following question as one asked with a sheepish smile...

  Problem: I have a 515e Setup to authenticate on a DSL modem which provides me with a public IP address on the the 515e ethernet0. Of the 515e I ping the outside world.

  I ethernet1 see an internal network 192.168.50.0, who answered the 515e as well.

  Computers inside the 515e cannot see through to the outside, ping or whatever it is.

  I guess I have configured my nat or bad overall, but from the documents that I read, they all assumed that you have more than one outside the IP to work with. I just need to get everyone inside and get them using the single IP address on the external interface. I'll also to the implementation of several VPN through this interface, is it not wise to use one for all?

  Indeed there is something wrong with your nat/global config:

  remove these lines:

  Global 200 (external) interface

  Global (inside) 192.168.50.8 - 192.168.50.254 100

  NAT (inside) 0-list of access inside_nat0_outbound

  and replace them with these lines:

  Global 200 (external) interface

  "Nat (inside) 0" part of the VPN configuration.

  What matters now are the "nat (outside) 200' and ' global (outside) 200" orders. "."

  You should always have a pair of nat/global with the same id (= 200 in this case). All the inside addresses (0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0) will be the translation of the ip address of the external interface of the pix.

  This will allow outside access all insiders of the Interior of the addresses (except icmp!).

  If you want internal hosts to have full access to the outside, you can remove the access list «acl_out»

• Computers can't see each other after the installation of E3000

  I found several previous posts about my question, but none of them have led me to a solution to my problem. Here's my problem. I have a small home network that I could share files and printers on now I bought for and install a Cisco E3000 and my computers do not see each other. My current configurations is as such: I use DSL and you have an ADSL modem to 2 wires with wireless capabilities. This particular modem has a port for the telephone line and a local Ethernet port. I took the local ethernet and plugged into the internet port of the E3000. All computers can access the internet, but they cannot see. I checked that the file sharing and printers is enabled on all computers. In fact, if I remove the E3000 of configuration and place them on the 2wire wireless connection they see each other. So I'm pretty sure that the firewall on each PC software will allow file and printer sharing. Which leads me to believe that my problem is in the E3000. It blocks perhaps the Protocol of network discovery or something. Does anyone have ideas how I can fix this problem? Any help is appreciated.

  Well, I solved the problem by returning the router to the retailer and Exchange to another router. Now, all network shares working. Consider the problem solved.

  I have the weirdest problem ever. I have a computer that does not see my USB, other computers but do not see my USB.
  Now, we tried another usb key (with usbstick I mean a ^_^ usb flash drive) and he DOES not see that stick! My own stick is a SANDISK Cruzer without U3, just ordinary storage 8gigs. None of the firmware see-as-CD. And the other was a different brand, but I don't remember.

  I also tried to plug a very specific device (A P2000 keystrokes recorder, it is a device that recorded incidents, I work for the firedepartment/police/ambulance and it records events), but he doesn't know that aswell of device, as if it has never been plugged in (we have installed the correct drivers for it).

  Now, I did some standard troubleshooting (check drivers, drivers of reupdating) and I removed all the usb drivers, restarted, drivers were back as usual, is not yet connect mine but it connects the other stick. My usb key works perfectly well with all computers but this one (same for the recorder to P2000), reupdated and installed, checked and stuff. Ports SHOULD work.

  More info; It does not take into account the USB and connects anything, even the little blue light inside the usb key does not illuminate. Its as if she was never plugged on. The other has worked flawlessly on the same port, however. And my USB works on other computers. (Ditto for the P2000, but is not on the P2000.)

• Computer Xbox 360 Media Extender and Windows 7 do not 'see' each other

  I had been successfully streaming from my PC content (32-bit) of Windows 7 to my XBox 360 (60 GB HD) since late 2009.  They are connected by Ethernet 100 Mbit/s via a 100 Mbps 3Com switch unmanaged and a Siemens ADSL gateway/router with a switch to 4 ports.  I use not media Extender functionality every day.  Its more like I use it for a week (after I have come back from vacation and want to see my photos and videos), so I use it for about 2-3 months.  Everything I do is press the green button on my remote to turn on the XBox and connect to Windows 7 Media Center.  I don't even bother to turn on my PC like the XBox, it wakes up for me (love it!)

  I modified it used successfully in mid-December 2010, but when I tried to use it again on 28 Dec XBox stated that he could not find the Windows Media Center computer.  I ran the diagnostics of XBox with no luck.  The XBox can detect and connect to my laptop (also under Windows 7 and is connected via WiFi), but it does not detect my PC.

  On my PC, the Extender both in the window "Devices and printers", in Media Center, presented with an exclamation icon and a message saying that the Extender is set up but can not be found.

  The only thing I changed on my PC since the last time the Extender has worked:

  (1) I removed the password on my user account

  (2) I turned off password protected sharing

  I noticed that some security updates have been implemented as well.

  Even if my laptop (that the XBox can still detect) was already configured with no user password and no password protected sharing, I reversed manually these settings on my PC.  This did not help.

  I tried an article that describes the removal of the certificate and add the Extender - no change.

  I tried to disable the firewall of Windows (the only firewall installed on my computer) and Microsoft Security Essentials, as long as my agent for LogMeIn - no change.

  Fortunately, I still had a restoration which dates back to the changed Extender worked, and restored at this point.  The Extender has worked once more... for a few weeks.  I thought that the problem would be back because I didn't really know what caused it in the first place.

  When the problem is back, I read a lot of articles, including those on this forum.  Some suggest specific problems with Asus computers equipped with software installed at the factory, creating a problem, or fingerprint scanners or memberships of domain.  None of them apply to me.  My PC worked loyally with the XBox as I first put in place in late 2009.

  So I went more drastic.  Two weeks ago, I rebuilt the PC from scratch.  I have not yet installed as much software as it was originally - just the basics like Office, Acrobat Reader, Picasa, iTunes, Java, Flash, Google Earth and LogMeIn...  Of course the Extender reworked... twice.  The next time I tried to use it, it wouldn't.

  I tried several restore points - this time, none of them brought the feature.

  Of course, thanks to all this the XBox can still detect my laptop which has also received updates from the Windows Update service (if only my laptop could host all of my pictures and videos...).  My laptop also has the same software, including the firewall of Windows, Microsoft Security Essentials, LogMeIn, etc...)

  This makes me think of something on the Windows 7 PC is blocking incoming or outgoing (or both) types of communication to the XBox.  What kind of diagnostic tools could use to figure out what is the cause.  If I have to sniff the network, what I'm looking for?

  I have reviewed the issue of abandonment and just buying a NAS that supports the XBox Media Extender, but:

  (a) none of the products in my price range offer the features AND performance, I want to

I have a Lazerjet 4 on 2350 and I also have 2 printers more on the 310 and was able to print on any printer of each machine, I replaced the Motorola with an Airlink 101, before moving, I could also access from and to a machine with limited success (the 310a hung up when I tried to run a program that has been on the 2350)

  My question is "can I USB to USB hard wire these two machines together in addition to the router or is there something more easy, because neither machine will see each other through this router?

  Several years ago, I installed software and LAN cards in two machines and was able to see and map the other drive as if each machine had two hard drives and is exactly I wish that these two machines to operate.

  Two of these machines are set up 5 feet from each other and only my wife and I run them.

  Interactive PDF is a roll of the dice in a browser and using SWF out from. He died a technology as it is and will work on any mobile system, or on a desktop computer that does not have flash player installed.

  Without knowing what you were doing, it is impossible to tell you why post them online does not work for you but you should really take the time to know what interactive feature are and are not supported with each format.

• Missing tab of the Spry Menu on CS5 using an iMac (only 2 computers do not see)

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on iMac in my class. Two students are not able to see the blue tab of the Spry menu bar.  Is there something that should be selected in so that they can see it?  I thought that maybe they missed a step, so we followed our book and recreated the Menu bar on another page.  Once the menu bar is complete and you click on the Blue Menu Spry tab is not available.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Spry menus have been abandoned by Adobe.two years ago because they can not be used by millions of visitors on portable devices.  We use now of JQuery menus or pure HTML/CSS menus.

  I am running Vista 32 bit Home Premium and trying to share my media to DLNA on my PS3 PC using Windows Media Sharing Service. UPnP is enabled. Network discovery is turned on. File sharing is enabled. Media sharing is turned on.

  Whenever I visit Windows Media Player or try to change the setting of sharing media in network and sharing Center, there is the error message "media sharing is currently disabled, either because the sharing service is not running or your firewall settings have changed. To restart sharing, you must first confirm your settings.

  During the deactivation and reactivation of sharing multimedia files, I never see PS3 on the list (not a single unknown device appears). Also I see no Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service on the list of Services - there is no way to toggle the service or do start automatically.

  There are several user accounts on this PC and I made the changes on my admin account.

  Tried a 3rd party software Java "PS3 Media Server" and makes my Vista computer show on PS3 without parameters or modifications to firewall. This suggests that the WIFI, router, network discovery and UPnP work. I prefer to use Windows services if I would only get their work.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

• Research of start Windows 7 does not see outlook and onenote items

  I use office 2010 and windows 7 Enterprise.    When you used to search in the start bar the results it would display would contain items outlook and onenote but it is no longer made.  It contains only the elements with the words to search for in the name of the file.

  If however I chose see more results while all outlook and onenote items are there.  It feels like a framework or something somewhere has changed and now the start bar search does not bother to look in the index.
  I made sure that all the search options in the start bar properties tab are on and working, but still no results.
  Anyone got any ideas?

It seemed to install correctly, but I can't view the DSN AnalyticsWeb when I go into tools of administration-> ODBC connections. In fact in the ODBC connections, I can not even add any DNS Server BI system. It is not the installed library. I installed this has to do with the way to Paris.

  I work on Windows 7 64 bit and I had to see the AnalyticsWeb DSN, even if the administration tool seems very well see it as bad.

  I tried what you recommended above, i.e. go to Windows\System32 and run odbcad32.exe, but he has not yet shown the AnalyticsWeb system DSN.
