Research of start Windows 7 does not see outlook and onenote items

I use office 2010 and windows 7 Enterprise.    When you used to search in the start bar the results it would display would contain items outlook and onenote but it is no longer made.  It contains only the elements with the words to search for in the name of the file.

If however I chose see more results while all outlook and onenote items are there.  It feels like a framework or something somewhere has changed and now the start bar search does not bother to look in the index.
I made sure that all the search options in the start bar properties tab are on and working, but still no results.
Anyone got any ideas?

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

  • Portege M400 - Windows 7 does not see HARD drive

Hi, I have the problem, I am trying to install Windows 7 on my M400, but he didn't see the hard drive.
The hard drive is surly ok, ' couse I tested it in the other netbook, I can see it in the BIOS, but any program installation can not.

(I tried both Ubuntu and XP Tablet Edition)

    Hi Radzik,

I think that Windows doesn't see the drive HARD due missing RAID drivers Windows needs of these RAID drivers before you can install it because it doesn t contain these drivers for the disk HARD is not recognized. You can download the RAID driver from Toshiba Web site.

You can then create a new installation disc using nLite with drivers or copy the drivers on an external floppy drive. Start Windows XP after you press F6 to load drivers from floppy drive.

    Check this box!

  • Windows Vista does not see my Canon G12 digital camera

I tried to upload photos today of my Canon G11 digital camera and has encountered a problem.
I used this camera and other cameras on this computer before and had no problem connecting to the cameras.  Today, I'm having a problem.
    (1) I plug in the camera and a small window at the bottom right of my screen jumps to the top of the poster "install device driver".
    "(2)"new hardware found"window that reads,".
Windows needs to install driver software for Canon digital camera»
    There are three choices:

    • Locate and install driver software
    • Ask me later
    • Do not show the message for this device

    (3) I click "locate and install driver software" and I get a updated driver software - error of digital Canon camera that reads, "Windows has encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device."  Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it.
    Digital camera
An error occurred during the installation of the device:
Cannot install the driver because he is only not digitally signed properly.  Contact your hardware vendor. »

I tried to reboot several times, and I tried to uninstall the device from Device Manager and reinstall the device. None of these worked.  |

AFAIK there are no drivers for this device on the Canon website.  How can I get my Windows Vista computer to recognize my Canon G11 camera?

    Thank you
    John

a screen pops up announcing that a new device has been detected.

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click on reinstall.

Yes there is no drivers for the device. The software supplied with the camera must be installed. The camera window should open when the camera is connected to the computer. Try using another USB port or use another cable, it can go bad too.

In the Device Manager expand Universal Serial Bus controllers, search for the connected camera or something as a mass storage device. Right click above and uninstall, then restart, it needs to be reinstalled. If does not uninstall everything under USB controllers and then restart your computer.

  • Windows 7 does not see added internal hard drive

I installed an internal hard drive 1 TB on a Windows 7 using SATA system.  Device Manager sees the drive, but Windows does not.  So I can't access the drive. How can I get Windows to use this hard disk (disk 1) to be the image of the disk system 0?

    Thank you

Probably should have Setup no matter what RAID before installation.  Thinking that can be a destructive thing.  Not that I'm a great believer in RAID1 arrays (mirror) - I'm not.  I'd rather have real backups - external backups.

Usually a RAID1 will help only if the first hard drive die an immediate death.  None of the defective areas, no viruses, no random deletion of files.  Why?  Because a HARDWARE RAID1 is an instant copy of everything that happens on the first hard drive.  If you clear hundreds of files - they are on both.  A virus corrupts the things - the other disc is in place.  Form data and scramble of bad sectors - well, look!

I have a storage attached network device I backup on an eSATA hanging from it it stores up to another network and storage I do more selective backups to as a backup for my saved backups.  Internal - nothing.  Well, I guess that the restoration of the system and version control integrated with Windows 7...

  • Windows 7 does not see the xp on network machines

We are a store Dell running XP Pro on peer-to-peer networks... deployment of Windows 7 Pro workstations and laptops. Out-of-the-box, we put it sharing, discovery, working group; etc. However, some of the machines Win 7 do not see network XP machines and thus cannot use the graphical interface to map to different files and resources. You can their ping, set using "Net Use" or "Add a network location" or "Connect Player" as long as you know the complete path (ie: \\server\server_share\home\bill\cad\cnc.) But you can't see them in the network window to map the drive to records letters. I have studied this issue, has visited many forums and talked to many other tech all with the same question. The conclusion seems to be because it is a Win 7 problem not addressed XP came out. So the current thinking seems to be to use the commands Net use in an autoexec.bat file. So to use the latest version of Windows with XP, we need to use commands BACK maps automatically records. A huge advances in technology. Really? Tell us we're wrong and there is an answer?

  • LR 5 / 10 Windows - import does not see my photos directory

    Hey people,

LR 5 Windows 10.  It worked great until a recent windows update.  Now I can't see my photos directory in the import dialog box.  I see the drive the files are, but can not see the directory of real photos.

Another bit of clarifying information: when windows updated, he kept an account of windows to create onilne.  This account creates a new set of home directories that appear to be linked to the previous windows user name file structure 7. Something seems to have changed which prevents LR to see all the files on the disc.

    Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

    Thank you!!

I do not think that it has nothing to do with an account of the window (note that was never an obligation) online, but more with the permissions.

The test is to run Lightroom as administrator or check that your has UID of full access to these directories through the Properties dialog box.

My guess is that previously, you used only access I want to who had administrative access and is not a new one, that you created.

  • Windows 8 does not "see" the functions on my Canon MF4450 scanner

The problem is that it will work for a while, but then it gives the same error.  It is as if Windows 8 is uninstalled or damage something.

  • Adobe Acrobat DC FeatureLockdown does not (Plugin Outlook and Sharepoint)

I need to deploy Adobe Acrobat DC in our company and in the face of a problem with locking function.

I put the keys to register HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown

    -\cCloud--> bAdobeSendPluginToggle DWORD 0

    -\cSharePoint--> bDisableSharePointFeatures DWORD 1

But I still have the option 'Add an account' to add a SharePoint account as well as the 'My account' icon in Outlook and the option 'send & Track '.

Deactivation of Sharepoint works for Adobe Reader DC, but not for Adobe Acrobat DC.

Is there another option to disable these features, for example by using the Customization Wizard?

The registry keys have been added by an AutoIT script after that installation is complete.

    Thanks in advance.

If the correct registry key is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\2015\FeatureLockDown

I just noticed the other, do not see it before so I guessed DC is good.

  • Satellite U300 - Windows XP does not see HARD drive

    Hello

I've updated the BIOS with the latest version, I've built a floppy with the SATA drivers, none of them work, XP Setup is not able to recognize the HD.

Surprisingly enough the BIOS SATA mode option can not be seen.

    Any idea?

    Kind regards
    Lionel.

    Hello

Not all BIOS contains the SATA option!
In your case, I recommend the construction of a new CD of Windows XP by using the nLite.
nLite is a free tool and allows you to include the SATA dirvers in the Win XP CD!

Then you can use the new XP disk to start and new installation of the OS

Search here in the forum! There is enough discussion on this procedure
