Multimedia video controller

Have a NVidia graphics card which is up-to-date for the drivers but the folder Device Manager to "multimedia video controller"is marked with yellow."  Not a matter of update as long as nothing is in this folder.  Reinstall one have been carried out and "update driver software" has been done.  How can be done for a cure for this?

MNewsome salvation,

What is the model of nVidia card?

You have a TV tuner or another device installed in the PC?

If you havesn t, you can turn off the video chip embedded in the BIOS.

Instructions should be in the manual that came with the computer/motherboard.

  • Multimedia video controller problem

The multimedia video controller under other devices has a problem of no drivers.  The device is an ATI Radeon X 700.  I just upgraded from Windows XP 32-bit for 32-bit Windows 8.  Everything is now except for the 20 inch screen is not fully used.  There is a black stripe 2 inch left and right, make the screen square or rectangle like a flat screen.  Since it is listed under other devices, I'm not able to select the manufacturer and model.  When I download the driver for Windows 7 32-bit, (does not have an 8), it said installation successful and compatible.  When I click with the right button on video controller in Device Manager and drill down to the folder, it says that there are no drivers in this folder.  Please notify.  Thank you in advance!

Suggest you buy a new graphics card for the system update

Contact the manufacturer for an updated VGA driver

You will have the very basic video support, until you can provide a better driver.

When you did the update for Windows 8.1, did you run the upgrade wizard?

Check that the system is extensible using Model Checker from Sony?

  • Qosmio F20 - 136 multimedia video controller does not

Control, video controller Panel material-multi media has the yellow question mark. Also in MCE, I get a message saying that the drivers work do not or TV tuner hardware.

I reinstalled from the recovery discs and installed all updates to MCE 2005 rollup including net.1.1 sp1. Physical control of the Panel there is no TV Tuner input.

In tools the tv tuner driver is shown as installed.
Any advice would be welcome. ------This is a new machine to buy, so it may be a hardware problem

    Hello

As far as I know, you will not find all the tuner entries in the control panel.
In Control Panel, you can find the graphics card option as nView desktop manager of nVidia Geforce.
The TV tuner driver is important to receive signals in MCE

However, if the yellow exclamation point appears in the device manager then I guess the driver fails or is wrong. You should try to update. Please note that on the driver of the page you will find driver for Windows XP and WinXP MCE.

Check if an error code is listed in the Device Manager:

    a. click on start

    b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

    c. in the Device Manager window, locate the drive of audio, video and game controllers and expand drive, double-click the sub element to check if an error message or error code is listed.

    Mr. Bennett

    Intel community advice

"The device that you identified is the Intel high definition Audio interface. The driver you need really need is not for the interface itself, but for the media Codec that completes the circuit. Intel cannot help you with that. they do not have these Codecs. You must contact the Board vendor for the correct driver. »

    You are the very welcome.

I mean, it is explore you the file and select with the mouse, then click Next and it should install the driver

You cannot copy and paste anything.

You can first try this method easier to install the driver...

When you arrive at her browse my computer for driver software option, go to: C:\SWSetup\sp27103, make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

The original file that I gave my instructions has the hardware ID you posted, so you need to install the driver (8086-2445)
