Multiple languages

Hi, I m a nuisance:

You will need to create a simple application with several languages, pe, Spanish, Italian, French. Now, I know how to make those languages available in all Indesign documents, I did (with buttons) but: is there any solution to make it available through the beginig of the document, it everywhere and not by choosing the language from any page of the folio?

Hope you understand my question. Thank you, Angel.

I guess that you might be using a navto: to access pages, but users who use your application would be able to navigate manually in other languages as well since these pages would be also inside the app, if you agree with this, you can use this feature.

    • If you make use of the Landing pages, then you can use the alternate page for different languages.

  • Apple TV & multiple language tracks

I have a video that has several tracks different languages (English, French, Japanese) in my iTunes library on my iMac.

I watch this video via the home sharing on my Apple TV 4.

When I watch the video in iTunes on my iMac, I can easily choose what language track to listen to.

However, I don't see any way to choose which language to use when I watch this video on my Apple TV.

Is there a way to select the track of language on my Apple TV?

    Thank you

    -Mike

Hello. What happens if you drag to the bottom of the remote control during playback of the video? You should see a details pane. You must then scan left for audio. Then you should be able to select the audio track, as long as the file is a format by ATV suppprted.

  • What is the best way to have multiple languages in file an Illustrator?

First of all, I'm quite new to Illustrator.

I have a project where I need to display accurate translations of the different phrases in several languages. I'm unable to get all languages, that I need to display accurately and I would also need to share this project with my superiors so that they can see. I came across ScribeDoor that would be perfect, but it does support all the languages that I need.

List of languages required: English, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, French, Finnish, Italian, German, Greek, Portuguese, Korean and Hebrew

I think I just need to install fonts that support this language, but I can use the same font with different languages on the same project? And even then there at - it a plugin or something that I'm not aware of that will translate it accurately for me or I have to go to an outside source to confirm that?

I use Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 on a MAC under OS X El Capitan 10.11.4

It would be ideal if it was easily transferable to After Effect, as is the next step in the process.

With your version, none of these languages should be a problem.

    Formatting Asian characters in Illustrator

Type of Arabic and Hebrew in Illustrator

Your system also has fonts installed for all of them.

If you want Latin, Asian, Hebrew and Cyrillic type to watch the same thing that you probably need to search commercial fonts that have been designed this way.

Maybe (small chance) SIL.org has fonts with this wide range of characters.

  • Publish an application in multiple languages

    Hi all

We have published a magazine app with dps. The content of this application is entirely in English, now, we would like to publish the application in other languages like Chinese or German. As far as I know, apple won´t accept an identical application, where only the language has changed. So I wonder if it's possible with DPS to integrate the different languages in a single application?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Language settings - work with multiple languages

Dreamweaver Developer Toolbox, in the Control Panel, have a tab to define the site language, for bugs, errors, check the form, etc.

I m working in a Web site with two languages, English and Spanish: How do I view messages in the appropriate language?

    lang.gif

I look at the tutorial to create a site multilingual, the user select a language and that create a session variable, which is a suffix to the folder "resources." This could be a solution, but isn´t exactly what I need.

Have been thinking about it again:

    1. This tutorial introduces a custom Session Variable named 'language '.

2 that tutorial explains how to make the user to choose his preferred language of uninstall in a drop down menu - but the corresponding "code language" can of course be derived from a column value that s been stored in your "login" MEASURING table

    Now, imagine you´d be...

    1. offer your site visitors (by adding an extra 'language' menu from your login form and storing the language code in which column of the table "login"...) the ability to define its language on this occasion, and...

    2. Add the 'global' correspondent uninstall Session variable, say «language», in the control panel

In my view, this has a huge advantage over the approach described in this tutorial, because once the 'language' has become defined as THE Session variables, the corresponding value will be available on each dynamic list and a dynamic form without further delay.

    See you soon,.

  • Notification is sent to multiple users in multiple languages.

    Hello

In our environment Apps (R12), workflow is installed in several languages. I have a requirement where the user can be choosed their preferred e-mail language and all notices must be sent to this user in the preferred language.

Here's the logic that I use:
    (1) creation of ad hoc users for e-mail addresses and user language as the "language" parameter passing This language is different for different users.
    (2) creating the role of ad hoc and attach all users of adhoc until created in this role.
    Here's where problem comes...

Notification happens only in the language specified during the creation of ad hoc role. Is to replace the languages are specified during the creation of ad-hoc users! I tried not to pass any language while creating the role, but in this case it supports languages for this session...

Is it possible to get this feature?

    Thank you
    Sumit

    Hello

Are expand you role in the definition?

I expect that if you find a role, then the role is language, unless you expand roles - in which case the language for users who are part of the role would be used.

  • Satellite L675 - how to change into another language (Windows 7)?

We recently bought a number of L675s with Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed it with the language = German, but a couple of our staff now came back and asked to have the English instead. The machines came with four languages (English, German, French, Italian), but once installed, it is not possible to change the language. Not even using the recovery disk. What should I do to achieve it - buy the Toshiba Recovery disk support?

    Hello

As far as I know it of not possible to change the language after you have selected the language during the installation process.
So either you will modernize the Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate and install a package of multiple language (it is available for the version of Win 7 Enterprise and Ultimate only), or you can buy the here Toshiba Recovery disk:

  • Several languages non-Unicode without reboot?

I recently got a new captioning program to add subtitles (Arabic, English and Japanese) at my youtube videos. The problem is that I can't get the program read more 1 language non-unicode both... so I thought I should create a new account for my laptop. I tried to create a new user for English & Arabic account and keep the default English & Spanish profile, but it does not work. It changes everything, but everything I have on a profile automatically changing the same thing on the other profile. It's very frustrating because I always have to restart my laptop. Is it possible to have multiple accounts with a different default language for each of them?

    Hello princeleo,

In addition to super486 comment, I've included a link below that will help you during the implementation of different languages for different users.  Please let us know status.

Configure Windows XP for multiple languages:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-XP/help/setup/set-up-multiple-languages-Windows-XP

With Windows XP, you can configure several languages and then switch between them with just two mouse clicks. If your computer is used in a multilingual household, you can configure each user account with a different language.

  • Is it possible to change the language of my computer. From Spanish to English. It's a sony vaio with Windows XP

It's a sony vaio pcv-w200m. Sold only in Latin America. Bought one and it would be so easy to change the language. Just need to know if I have any hope to convert the language from Spanish to English?

    Hello

If you have installed Windows XP on your computer and you are using the Spanish version, you can change the operating system to accept the entries of the language of other languages supported, such as English. This will help enter you commands and text in languages other than Spanish, making it easier to use the operating system in your native language.

    (a) click on 'start '. Select the "Control Panel", and then open the section ' Date, time, language and Regional Options ".

    (b) click on the button "Add other languages", click the "Languages" tab and then click on the button "Details".

    (c) change the setting from "Default input language" in English, and then click the OK"" button.
