Multiple MAME of XP/game controllers.

Okay, so I worked with MAME. I have a gamepad that works very well. However, when I connect a joystick, things turn to the sour.

Specifically, I want my Logitech Attack 3 Player 1, and my FuSa gamepad (PSP + app that turns into a joystick, just like any other) be player two. However, as soon as I connect FuSa, it turns into joy 1-MAME and my joystick is kicked of joy 2. JoyIDs does not work, and I don't want to remap because my PSP will only be connected when someone plays, so my joystick goes back to Joy 1. I know other people online I have this problem, there is no right answer.

I have more unusual problems. Just google my questions. Valid only result this page.

have you tried to configure gamepads in the WORLD?

TAB / GLOBAL

also...

try deleting the MAMEUI32.ini or whatever the ini is maybe (you run MAME in BACK).

then run MAME and restore everything back to the default value (which should be done anyway after deleting the ini, but just for the _ of it).

I had a problem where a joystick no longer works once and it fixed it.

post back.

    Hello

I recently had problems with my microphone and speakers/headphones and game controllers.
Sometimes the microphone stops working when on Skype, for example, but most of the time works fine, once again, when I restart the pc.

Stakeholders sometimes still work when I connect headset.
Some of the sounds are still coming through the speakers while some coming through the headphones.

I have a usb game controller which also did not work everything properly.
If I assign buttons in the program that they do not work in the game.

All these devices are in Device Manager in a group that makes me think it's sort of annoying update doubtful that messes with them.

Any body have similar problems or know what to do better?

Can you please send some details on the laptop model and the system you are using?

With regard to the issue of sound/mic:
    > The microphone sometimes stops working when on Skype, for example, but most of the time works fine, once again, when I restart the pc.

Are you talking about internal microphone or external? This only happens using Skype?
In your case I would test the microphone using different applications to make sure that is not a Skype related issue.

Both your video and sound on Board (part of the motherboard) cards or are they another card installed in one of the slots on your system (stand-alone)

Which version of the service Park you have on your PC (SP1 or SP2?)

Have you checked to make sure that this motherboard is compatible with the operating system you are using? You can check it out here CENTER OF COMPATIBILITY of VISTA

If your device is compatible, your problem may be getting the right driver or a defective unit, or you need to just run all the necessary update on your PC.  I suggest you run Windows update to get the latest updates for your PC.

Second, boot your PC in a boot environment in MINIMAL MODE to make this issue is not caused by a background program and reinstall the latest drivers for your devices

To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.

    1. click on Start, type msconfig in the Search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click restart.

    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If your problem is resolved, follow the section How to determine what is causing the problem in the KB article to narrow down the exact source.

  • Gamepad listed in "Devices", but NOT in the game 'controllers '.

I am trying to install an old joystick Saitek USB X 36.  After hanging, it is listed as a "HID-compliant game controller" under the heading devices "devices and printers".  However, when I go to the "Game controllers" window, there are has no devices listed.  By clicking on "Advanced" button me give it a choice of 'none' or 'none '.

Is it possible to force Win 7 to recognize the device in both places?

    Thanks in advance.

    -mike

    Hi Mike,.

I'm sorry for the late reply.

Since the joystick Saitek USB X 36 worked fine with Windows XP, there is a problem with 36 joystick Saitek X USB drivers. I suggest to try the joystick Saitek X 36 USB in Windows 7 different machine and check if it works very well. You can also install the drivers for USB Saitek X 36 joystick in compatibility mode for Windows XP and check.

See the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

    a. right click on the driver file and select Properties

    b. Select the Compatibility tab

    c. place a check next to run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system in the drop-down list

    d. let the driver to install, and then check the functionality.

    Hi averlinden11,

We would like to know the brand and model of the joystick and game controller.

    1. check if the game controller is compatible with the version of the operating system installed on your computer.

You can check the link below for compatibility:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/en-us/default.aspx

    2. make sure that you have installed the software on the game controller.

    3. check if the device is detected in Device Manager. Follow the steps to go to the Device Manager

    i. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.

II. research the name of the device

If the device is not detected in Device Manager, and check if it is the hidden device.

    i. click on view under view hidden devices

II. develop all winks in Device Manager

III. there would be multiple entries in the device in gray Manager uninstall all entries shaded under all the winks and then restart the computer and connect the external device to the computer and check if it works.

    4. you can run the fix it tool from the link below: hardware devices not detected or does not:

  • Microsoft sideWinder force feedback 2 game controllers driver for Windows 8

Original title: Joystick Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 8 victory Flight

I have recently upgraded to windows 8 and now need drivers for my MS sidewinder force joystick feedback 2 use my FSX flight sim. Anyone know where to find the drivers?

I recently bought Microsoft Flight Sim X on stream. I've performed under a victory 8.1 HP laptop. I am lucky to have a Microsoft sidewinder force joystick feedback 2 which was a purchase of second hand many years ago.

When I connect it via USB the software automatically recognized and installed the driver suitable for the start and reports in devices like a sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick.

Initially using the properties and the calibration does not register any input the joystick game, but as the result of a reboot or run the program MS Flight Sim X everything works perfectly.

Calibration running confirms all the buttons and wheel and look at a hat all them light up and work 100%!

For reference, I am on windows 8.1 and have the auto update on.

So in summary, you should find that you need not track down the drivers and plug and play works, simply because of my experience.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp73001-73500/sp73189.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R.

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.

In the Device Manager window, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72501-73000/sp72862.exe

After reinstalling, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right-click on the setup of Realtek Audio and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, restart the laptop again and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.
