  Can I get help with text input boxes?  I have a slide where I want the student to enter some multiples of two numbers.  On my blade, I put five text entry boxes.  I wonder what values are correct for the boxes, and I put 8,12,24,12,18, respectively.  I don't know how to proceed after that.  Can I put a single button "Enter" so that the answers will be verified?  If the answers are false, he will tell the student who are wrong?

  If a person can have as many meta data in the file to add columns to the table.
  The problem is how can I allow users to add as much data as they wish with them having to re develop page.

  However the TBL_META_VALUE in the TBL_FILE_META column will sometimes be a selection list and other times one text box or a numeric field.
  So I don't see now a SQL (editable report) would work for this and I can't create a table of elements on the page running I can?

  Yes, you can do it. Update report / query in a table can be built from the metadata using the SQL query that returns the PL/SQL function . It will be a bit of coding in PL/SQL where you use metadata and metadata of Meta data to restore your SELECTION with the right APEX_ITEMs. He might have a decrease in performance associated with it, but it will not be a serious degradation.

  Hi all

  I have an application in which I want to show multiple images (say, 16) on the façade of labview (thumbnail is preferable). I want to show some information about the image (like their quality and the index number). Now if the user double clicks on a thumbnail of the image then I want to choose this particular image for further processing.

  Could someone tell me please how to do this?

  I see several approaches here.  We need to start by a group of 16 indicators of photo.  Put the photos in them.  There are several ways to scale to the size of the thumbnails.  The simplest is probaby the ZoomFactor of an image property.  One of the toolkits - Vision, I think - includes functions to resize the images.  There are also screws posted on this forum to do simple image and someone recently released most of the code to do with .NET.  You can then seek a double click on any of these images and determine where the user has clicked.  I think you can find the sample code to detect a double-click; the basic idea is that you look two mouse events down within a certain period of time by using a structure of the event.

  Another method would be a single picture control displaying multiple images.  You want to search for two clicks to the same place (or very close to the same place) in a certain period of time, then determine the image that is displayed for this place.  A good start for it would be Ben emoticon display VI http://forums.ni.com/t5/BreakPoint/Starware-A-new-concept/m-p/616094?view=by_date_descending#M4595

• CP9: Multiple text entry boxes - 1 Submit button

  I have several text entry areas (TEBs) and send button 1.

  Each TEB I have a:

  • input variable of text from the user - v_teb1 (associated with the ETB).
  • Variable for the correct answer - v_teb1_ans (do this way because I want to reuse the action advanced)

  I created an advanced action (assigned to the "submit" button) to check the entry of user against the answers.

  So if the answer was 'Home' or 'House' - how can I test for it - create two response variables - "v_teb1_ans_a", "v_teb1_ans_b".

  Is there an easier way?

  Also with "Validation of the user" are the "correct entered" used only with 'Success' and display the success, legends of the failure

  This is the problem with the validation of a TEB entry using a tip action, there is no way to disable the distinction uppercase / lowercase. It will be possible if you use JS to change the answer to all the capitals before checking it in.

  I do not understand your last question, sorry? Entered correct are used if you post a BER, but in your case the validation is made only after all the TEB were used, right?

• Slide auto is using of multiple text entry boxes once the user enters two of the six answers

  I have several areas set up on a slide text entry.  The user must enter the answer in each text box.  And even though I have properties of all TEB "break from legends of success or failure", auto slide advance once the user enters only two of the six responses.  I thought that perhaps insert a click box and setting ' to pause until the user clicks on "would resolve the issue... but it is not.  Here's a screenshot of what my slide looks like and a screenshot of the properties that I set myself for each TEB.  Can someone help me please?  I need all six TEB to complete before moving to the next slide.

  You can start by changing the Actions on the success and the last attempt: they are both set to Continue, which means the playhead will be published immediately after a good response and after exhausting attempts in case of wrong answers. Set them to any Action.

This linear encoder resolution (PPR) = 400 PPR so = distance = Cm * N_pulses Im not sure how I could calculate the gear ratio of the LR Starter Kit, taking into account that there are 4 speeds interconected for each pair of wheels. I found in a document from the COMPENSATION Commission that the ratio of the Starter Kit is 83:1, but if I try n = 83 distances Don t make any sense! -UNIC course laboratory 2 (PDF, 1 page assignment): "" "gear ratio: it's the amount of turns, it takes the engine to fill per 1 rotation of the wheel.» The ratio of the daNI robotic platform is about 83:1.   I do not know whence the value of 83:1, but I can tell you that the wheels of Starter Kit 1.0 have a gear ratio of exactly 2 Motors per wheel turn.  The engine is mounted on a wheel of 40 teeth, which meshes with the 80 teeth gears that are mounted on wheels.  This means that the ratio is 2:1.  Note that the Starter Kit 2.0 has a 1:1 ratio.

• How to disable or change the General the keyboard shortcut "CTRL + Shift" that switches between multiple keyboard entries?

  I use the Switzerland of Windows 7 version in English on a German keyboard (QWERTZ).  The general shortcut to switch between QWERTY and QWERTZ keyboard's CTRL + SHIFT. When you use Excel, I use this combination all the time with arrows to navigate large worksheets.  If I start a movement, only by pressing CTRL + SHIFT, but do not press the arrow, I find keyboard layout changes.  Is it possible to change the General shortcut or for otherwise, delete or disable this feature?

  You cannot use the shortcuts by default windows to other applications unless the application has been designed accordingly.

• Several radio buttons from multiple text entry text box.

  Once more, I find myself asking for help.

  I have a form with a lot of questions. Answers are derived radio buttons which, in turn, are displayed in the text boxes associated with each group of option buttons. This part. that I don't have a problem.

  I want to make is that all of these responses are also displayed in a text box 'Total' separate in order to give an overview of the results of the form.

  
  The problem I have is that I get only 1 answer in my text box 'Total' and that while it is replaced at the next RB is selected in the following selection of questions and answers.

  Hi Raffé,

  If you want to view all selections made in the option buttons in the total field, you can directly all of the above as a concatenation of string like this.

  Total.rawValue = Radiobutton1.rawValue + 'some delimiter as the comma, hyphen if you want to' + radiobutto2.rawValue + etc...

  Remember that the total field shouldn't of TextField NumericField.

• Adding multiple text entries

  I tried to understand how captivate total amounts entered by a user. for example, if I want to that they enter how much they spend per month in different budget categories and then add up the amounts. How I do that? I've set up variables for about 3 Articles test and then tried to write a tip action to add the numbers but could not get it for the sum of two of the three points.

  I used assignment: Estimatedsum (variable) = category 1 (variable) + category 2

  but then it does not give me the ability to add more vaiables, should I add a new line. What Miss me?

  What version of Captivate you use 4 or 5?

  Advanced actions are executed sequentially from top to bottom (and for conditional actions in CP5, decisions are executed from left to right).

  So, if you need to calculate a total to be stored in a v_sum variabel and you have 4 terms, stored in the variables v_term1, v_term2, v_term3, v_term4 you need a tip with 3 statements action (this is in the terminology of CP5)

  • Expression v_sum = v_term1 + v_term2
  • Expression v_sum = v_sum + v_term3
  • Expression v_sum = v_sum + v_term4
  After execution of this tip action, you will have the total stored in v_sum

  I try to get references to all of the screws in memory on multiple instances of LabVIEW application. Specifically, I'm trying to get the VI Refs screw (and their subVIs in memory) in another Explorer of projects at design time. (The other screws do not work.) For example, if you are only interested in VIs in the current instance of App (read the Project Explorer), you can use the following code:

  I just tried the code below.  It runs in a single project; I have also open a second project with more than 300 screws and it opens a reference to each one without any error.  Are you the application instance reference wiring open Reference VI?

  I followed the instructions for "Delete bookmarks" to delete a single bookmark using the "star" symbol, but the instructions for multiple deletion assumes a version prior to 4.0, which offers the option "organize bookmarks" under the bookmarks Menu. Is it possible to delete several bookmarks or must they be deleted one at a time using the symbol 'star' in version 4.0?

  If a relationship has multiple bookmark entries then click on the star should show a button with a number greater than 0 to remove them all.

  I have LabVIEW 2013. I noticed that in LabVIEW measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) under the LabVIEW Run-Time 2012 SP1 f2 software is listed. This somehow means I can return or switch between LabVIEW 2013 and 2012 without having to install/reinstall?

  The reason why I ask, is that I have several instrument drivers written for LabVIEW 2012 sp1 I want to use.

  This is probably a silly question, I know.

  On a related note, is it possible to tell if a driver written for an older version of LabVIEW will work in a new version of LabVIEW? Or you just have to play with the software?

  Hi John,.

  More explicitly answer your main question - you can install multiple versions of LabVIEW in parallel (at the same time, on the same PC), however that one version of patch of each major version (for example, 2011, 2012, 2013) can be installed - you can not install 2012 and 2012 SP1 at the same time.

  The runtime that you noticed has probably been installed with another component that was built in this environment.

  As Dennis said, the big thing to keep in mind is that your screws will have to be upconvertis/resized when moving between versions.

  If your instrument driver is written in 2012 LabVIEW using the serial at low altitude of LabVIEW drivers, it will certainly work in 2013.  If you open the screw driver in 2013 and that you do not see workload issues, you should be good to go.  If pilots request DLL or another have external dependencies can be involved more work.
