• VM combining the Get - And Get-VMGuest CSV output

  I am trying to generate a CSV file that combines different properties between the cmdlets Get - VM and Get-VMGuest but struggled.

  I am aware that the cmdlet Get - VM will give me an output like the number of processors, amount of memory per VM, vm name etc., but also want to retrieve properties such as its IP address, running OS, hostname, etc in the same CSV report.

  Given that the ownership of comments is present inside the VirtualMachine object returned by Get - VM, you can get these values without running the Get-VMGuest cmdlet.

  It is NOT a behavior "differently" in Oracle; you did not specify just an order that you expect of your results, so you'll get output in what order the fantasies of the database showing (ie. no guaranteed order). It is an artifact of the way the database chooses to collect the data and databases (or same sets of data within the same database) can and will most likely behave differently.

  Same SQL Server will not be guaranteed to always get your data in an orderly manner if you exclude the order by clause, even if you think that there always display the data in an orderly manner.

  Your solution is to add an order by clause, in the TWO databases, to force the order of the data output.

  I installed Firefox 21 on a new Windows 7 operating system. The menu bar and the toolbar at the top of the windows is full small horizontal lines.   I tried to get a list of my virtual machines (using PowerCLI) with CBT (block change tracking) enabled, and while the following command returns the results, I can't have it at the output to a text file. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

  You can get the information to an output file by removing the Write-Host calls.  How to do:

  Get-VM | Get-AdvancedSetting -Name *ctkEnabled* | Sort-Object Entity,Name |    Select Entity,Name,Value,Type | Export-Csv -NoTypeInformation -UseCulture c:\temp\advSettingInfo.csv
  

  Which will be, for any virtual computer that has a * ctkEnabled * advanced configuration, parameter information advanced output for such virtual machine to the CSV file in the appropriate location.  It relies on the ability to Get-AdvancedSetting to accept the VM objects as the value to - entity from the pipeline (so the foreach statement is not necessary) and used the - param Name of this cmdlet, avoiding any disorder Select-String.  I used Export-Csv to the output method so that you can easily consume these data later if you need to act on these data or even manipulate it.

  I have 6 scripts (written by Luke and Robert) who are used to extract information of the box of ESX as shown below. I want to combine the scripts into a single and output in excel. I have a csv file with names of servers esx in it. The combined script should take the entry of the name of the csv esx server and run these scripts and export information to an excel spreadsheet. I need a workbook with each server esx excel as a table in it.

  ESX - report.ps1-> extract info from esx host

  VM - report.ps1-> extract info VM

  Teddy - report.ps1-> extract info ESX physical network adapter

  PortGroup - report.ps1-> extract portgroup info

  scsiHBA - report.ps1-> extract info SCSI & HBA

  Report.ps1-> info report data store retrieves data store

  Firewall - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  Time servers - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  DNSserver - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

  I have attached the format of the expected output excel workbook and scripts.

  There was a bug in the script, the Get-View in the teddy bear (report 3) and the portgroup (report 4) not took into account that the mode of VIServer ran in "multi".

  Which should be fixed in the new version attached.

  I have an Adobe Illustrator CS6 document with body copy using 6.5 PT. Neue Helvetica LT STD - Bold Condensed & Light Condensed.

  After you save the file as a PDF in Illustrator by using the [smallest file size] parameter, closing and opening of the newly saved in Illustrator - PDF text of 6.5 PT is now 5.53 PT with a vertical scaling of 117.65%.

  This PDF file is for purposes of customer review - on the screen or laser print - not for reproduction. We try to keep the file size as small as possible to make the download and attachments manageable.

  In this case, my client opens the PDF file in Illustrator to check the sizes of text for legal and regulatory purposes.

  If I record the same Illustrator file to PDF using other parameters as [high quality Print], the size of the text is unchanged.

  I was able to repeat the question using Helvetica LT Std instead of Helvetica Neue LT Std.

  well I was able to recreate the issue with the exact same font and numbers - matched both of your screenshots.

  To summarize "preserve Illustrator editing capabilities.

  When I run the above script m.sql it does not produce the other 3 log files (1.log, 2.log etc.), but m.log (which is master log file which should have output of each of the three call script) is an empty file with 0 bytes!
