  Please remove Muse CC completely from your machine - use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

  After that install it again thanks to the creative cloud desktop application.

  I had some odd/irregular problems but they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The question is regarding Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of the web fonts provided through the functionality of the applications 'Add Web fonts '. Once added to perform as expected, then they become "unavailable." Details below. Was a complete creative cloud Subscriber for a few years, so I am quite familiar with the way the system works less some problems that have arisen at the time, including.

  System information:

  Adobe Creative Cloud (full subscription): Version 1.9.1.474

  Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3

  OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2

  Here's a summary of what took place. I will detail the bug as best as I can.

  
  

  1. creation of new Adobe Muse project. Everything is normal.

  2. has chosen to add a new font using the function 'Add Web fonts' in the Muse. A note, my creative application of cloud's race / open at all times (in the mode of file synchronization).

  3. has chosen the new fonts to help above. Everything seemed well (see screenshots below).

  

  4 fonts were also indicated as being "synchronized" in Creative Cloud (screenshot below).

  

  5. as expected, the two fonts have been added to the list of available within the Muse Web fonts (first screenshot below - left). I added the successfully on my site. Well after that a number of hours, I went back to the same menu of selection of fonts within the Muse and the fonts was still visible but the submenu that you'd expect showing various forms (bold, italic, etc.) was not available. In a sense the police could not be selected in the list even if the name is clearly visible second screenshot below - right).

  

  Have no idea what can be wrong. Saved the Project Muse, closed, and then reopened - nothing has changed. Created new project - fonts always menu 'shows', but cannot be used. Find a vague description by using Google to a similar problem (different application) which recommended Creative Cloud Desktop App closing and reopening as a possible solution. It WORKED at first, but the problem, well fixed for a period of time (a few hours at most), will reappear again where we would see once again still not being able to choose two Web fonts. Went up to the Cloud to uninstall then reinstall Desktop creative application. Still not solved the problem.

  Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restart the CC application whenever fonts are no longer available is quite a lot of time for my workflow.

• Help! Muse 2014.3 crashes when I try to record my .muse file

  I have the latest version of Muse [2014.3] since the update, that the application crashes repeatedly at the slightest "provocation."

  I'm building a site of several Web pages for a client and brought the last house file [I'd worked on at my desk]. One or two of the necessary image files updated, I did. When I tried to save the updated file I got [and get] a fatal error.

  Reads the error message: "Dangling Ref or the property: BoxPageItem means unknown UID, BoxPageItem means unknown UID, BoxPageItem refers to unknown UID '.

  Then, the application crashes and I have to force quit. This is the case on several occasions and the dialogue says nothing about how to fix those errors [3 error image perhaps, given that the current crashes happen after update images?]. I am in a serious time crunch now, hHow can I recover my file to continue working on this project and what is the cause of the problem? Someone help me?

  This version of Muse is really as unstable?

  Hi Fabia,

  I think that I fixed it over the weekend. But, interestingly, my problem was too much the images inside the compositions.

  I did something similar to you, where I'm not Muse to date when the file opens, [which caused the crash of the]. Instead, I find the images in the active panel, open in Photoshop and re-recorded the. Then I imported and saved after each of them. It seemed to work.

  For me, "container" has apparently been OK, I had the background fill together against zero anyway, so motivated that there could be a problem with one of the seven images [seven in my case, but which, or maybe all?]. Since then, I was able to add content and save normally and this morning, I was able to allow the customer to see the progress of the site, as promised.

  I upgraded Muse 2014.3 on my pc today. I worked with a current Web site, I published this week. I made a few changes to the wording and adjust the opacity on elements. Now, I can't publish my Web site. I get this error message: "do not know how to render the data: type_guid" and tells me to contact support alerts for the steps that I took before the error. Then I'm kicked out the program. When opening Muse once again, I find a recovered file. How can I solve this problem? Is it possible for me to go back to the version 2014.2 of Muse? I would like to publish these minor changes on my site.

  I hope that Muse of closure and relaunch the problem will be solved. If it does not set it then please reset his preference and that should solve the problem.

  Steps to reset the preferences are given below.

  2) go to the desktop > click on Go > «Go to folder»

• Help! Cannot hide layers within the groups in Muse 2014.2

  Muse 2014.2 is not let me hide the layers that are outside of a group. Did someone else has this problem and is there a solution?

  Hi Alex,

  It is as expected. In the case of Muse, the layers are very high-level containers, everything inside of them are considered as objects on this layer (Photoshop use slightly different terminology where everything is a layer). In Muse, users are allowed to hide layers and objects that lie directly on the layer. Assuming that you have a few rectangles grouped on the layer, you should be able to hide the whole group, but not a single rectangle.

  Hi, complete beginner, so sorry if this has already been taken up elsewhere. Only started using 1 months ago Muse about and now Muse 2014 - using the menu widget horizontal and discovered how it now shows the submenus in the overview of the main menu item - I find this a lot!

  I want a page 'Contact me' with a basic form and is not a problem, however, I want the submenus to appear when you move the other items of the main menu, but not the contact me page - can be completely off here, but created me a 'Thank you' page as a child of the page contact page and want only this display (not as a choice of submenu when you move the contact me to the main menu) when they clicked the Send button of the form (I know how to set this reorientation in the forms options). Tried to play with the menu on the master page - stop the whole edit and then change the settings on only the contact me menu item - without success - seems to apply to all elements of the main menu.

  I would like to know how to get the submenus on other items of menu - but not on contact me  or if I'm going to try to get an answer of 'Thank you' when a person submits the contact form me in the completely wrong way - if this can be better achieved by other means?

  I would appreciate your advice and help. My published site is 'onyerbikegeordie.uk' with the main menus - except not a contact me page yet you would give an idea of what I'm trying to achieve with the exception of a contact me page.

  Hi, managed to find the answer myself. In the Plan, right-click on the page and select the Menu Options > exclude Page of Menus. Job done!

I got it on both my home computers and work. I am reluctant to download. I know a company that did a download from Adobe that has completely messed up their system.

• Muse 2014.3 - why Adobe remain silent?

  It turns out that I am one of many people complain about Muse, 2014.3 was last updated.

  It is slow, full of bugs, update Active invariably the application breaks down, and even simple things like change the titles of the pages in outline view are in 10-15 seconds per change, is ridiculous.

  Why Adobe respond to none of these complaints on the forum?    You not realize we pay for a product that we can barely use and makes our lives almost impossible job?

  One of them may have double capacity for 32 bit and 64. You should not be able to install Muse 2014 64-bit on a 32-bit computer.
