  I created two sites with Muse and organized them both on the same hosting service. One of the sites (reddoorbrasil.com.br) gives me a PHP error when I try to use the regular form of Muse, but the others (bytezone.com.br) works very well.

  After talking with my host, they explained to me that the Bytezone server has PHP version 5.3.28; Meanwhile, Red Door has PHP 5.5.13.

  So my question is: can the new version PHP be the cause of the PHP error on my contact form of Muse?

  I can confirm the same behavior on a newlly Server installed with php 5.5.30.

  PHP is configured correctly, MUSE uses an old method of sending mail, which, on servers secured properly (mail service) is disabled.

  all mail messages must be sent using an authenticated mail box.

  For forms Muse requires PHP 4.1 with sendMail PHP configured, which means a mailer running on the server.

  For synchronized text, Muse requires PHP 5.1.

  Yes.

  But you must also change the .htaccess file that is stored on your Web space.

  Some providers have a configuration tool where you can plug your individual error on your site page. Maybe you're one of the happy customer of such a provider.

  I searched and did not see an answer to this:

  I exported my Muse file in HTML format and receive this error for my page contact us (email question):

  "JavaScript: PHP Script error form is missing from the web server or PHP is not configured correctly or your web hosting provider."  Check if the script PHP form as been downloaded correctly, then contact your provider for hosting on the configuration of PHP".

  What PHP version support MUSE... 5.1?  I contacted HostGator and they have just updated my PHP to 5.5 and asked me what needs PHP MUSE. Said HostGator 5.1 is old and they don't support 5.1. Can someone help me?

  Also, when I try to check PHP with: http://my-site.com/scripts/form_check.php , I just get an "oops" of the screen, but does not check my PHP. ???

  I don't see a page of Muse generated with a form to www.dancetx.com, or pages that links? Where can I find the page with the form that does not work? Thank you.

  If you Muse site doesn't have a form, which would explain why there is no file "form_check.php" on your site. This file (and the other for a form) are generated only when there is a form within the site uploaded/exported.

• Form of muse does not work on godaddy and no error message indicating a php error occurs. Perhaps wrong? I have to manually set once charged form for Go Daddy to lead through their form of mail system?

  I read in several places on the forum that muse forms are now supported on third party platforms. However, I have great difficulty to pretend to work on Godaddy. They seem to no longer have the option 'form mailer' and told me to look at this PHP: Mail - Manual to forms of work. Muse is not give error messages indicating that there is a problem on the end of go daddy, the form appears to work but no message is received at the e-mail address. can anyone help solve this for me.

  Rockinghudson you cannot use FTP to upload your site on Business Catalyst. You must use post it on the function of catalyst for business within the Muse. The code generated for Business Catalyst is different from the code that is generated when you use file > Upload FTP host or file > export as HTML... from capacity and generic hosting needs are different from those for Business Catalyst.

  I used the feature form of Muse and then edited the look of it. When I published the site using the FTP option, I kept getting an error that says something about not being able to support something about PHP. Sorry, can't remember the exact error message.

  When I deleted the form, the site has published very well.

  As long as the form on your site no - BC works and send emails, you can ignore this warning message. It's just that forms require PHP work on third-party servers and Muse is trying to verify compatibility PHP on your server during the postback.
