  I was very disappointed to discover Muse did not support the full of Typekit library when Typekit became available to members of creative cloud. It is clearly one of the biggest disadvantages in a comparison of Muse vs Dreamweaver. There are hacks available to embed the fonts in Typekit Muse, but the 'how' procedures are not very friendly. Themes of Muse has a complete widget Typekit, but even this is not all that easy to use. They have a nearly 9-minute video on their website describing the procedure.

  In addition, I was quite disappointed by the number of characters in Typekit web only (as Brandon Grotesk) or have only one or two of several thickness of font available for the version of office / print (such as Trajan Pro and Trajan Pro without).

  As a result, I have not messed with Typekit a lot and honestly don't find much value with it - at least not much being blocked access. So I'm always looking for new fonts to bargain introduction of prices on sites like MyFonts or keeping an eye on some free sites like police squirrel.

  Incidentally, fonts "Edge" in pale Muse just with what is available for free to the squirrel to the police. In the Muse, you will get a fairly limited number of weight/style with edge fonts choices. Some of these same fonts have squirrel are much more styles/weight put at their disposal.

  In the end, it's just much faster and easier to buy or acquire legally fonts web either through paid sites such as MyFonts or free sites like the squirrel of the police and in the end upward with system fonts and web, you can use crazy hacks on your computer in Muse without any code.

• Muse rasterize Typekit fonts. Why?

  I use without Source on a site and Muse converts to the image. I obviously don't want that. What can I do to stop the rasterization of Typekit fonts? Thank you.

  any time a browser does not the police, it will make an image or use some other fonts... which one comes first depends on the browser.

  My typekit fonts work in preview, but not when the site is implemented as .html? Can you please help?

  Hmmm...  as Guenter, Typekit fonts should work for export to HTML format.  But it could be a problem with you using the HTML export settings, or preferences.

  I just ran a quick test to verify that export to HTML format works:

  • create a trial subdomain (e.g. subdomainname.domainname.com) in the URL of the Site.
  • Then download the files exported to this area... and Typekit fonts used worked well.

  The question could relate to the Typekit not linking correctly account? There are a few things I can think off that might help:

  1. Choose Adobe Muse CC > preferences (Mac) or edit > Preferences (Win)
  2. Publier publish on Business Catalyst, check the Adobe ID used corresponds to the Adobe ID associated with your creative cloud membership. (I'm not 100% sure if this information is used by any other publication options, for example to add the referencing of Typekit fonts for web pages and a link to your account, but I think we could - someone else may be able to verify this).
  3. Once that corresponds to your Adobe Creative ID of cloud, try again to export as HTML.
  4. Make sure that you enter the correct URL of the Site where the site will be published (this is also used for purposes of Typekit), click OK.

  Then download all the files that have been exported to the directory on your web server where the site will be allowed.

  Hope it will work. If you're still having problems, let us know:

  * What Typekit fonts you use.

  Information that you enter in the export HTML dialog box

  * When the site is published online (feel free to give us a link if you are able to).

• MUSE CC - Error 403: No. Typekit access with no Typekit fonts used

  Hello!
  I had late payment, and it seems that the Muse crashed because of it. I now have a full subscription to all Adobe Creative Cloud products for a year.
  When I opened the muse I got this warning:
  

  First of all, I have chnaged all fonts in all pages including the masters for desktop and mobile web fonts comfortaa, but somewhere in this project is hidden from the typekit fonts. Try again later I updated each text in standard HOME page font Trebuchet and I still have this error warning.

  When I write the site, I get this message:

  
  I logged in and out of the clouds Creative app for several times (see 4 times added 40 fonts), restarted my computer 3 times and still no results. Maybe the problem is that I am on Windows 10 machine, although I have not experienced problems of this kind underway 5-6 months since I've updated.
  Strangest thing is that this Muse wants Typekit access even if I use the fonts from there...

  I wonder if you can help... Please can you let me know why I cannot access with Muse Typekit when I have a 'portfolio' account and have not exceeded my allowance? Typekit tells me that my account has no access to it, but this should not be the case? This seems to have happened overnight?

  I found the problem to find some menu of Muse service Typekit fonts

  For example, I found on the site Web of Typekit police 'masterful web' and added to my favorit.

  But when I opened the menu Typekit of Muse - I couldn't find this type.

• List of web fonts from Typekit/muse/overview?

  Is there a specific foundry in Typekit Muse uses to populate its list of web fonts available in the menu "Add Web Fonts... » ? When I browse the Typekit site finding fonts to be used in the Muse most not available in Muse. Similarly, some of the fonts available in the menu of Muse are no where on the site of Typekit, Aguafina Script for example.

  There is actually an Adobe in Typekit foundry, which contains MANY unavailable fonts in Muse. What sense does that make?

  It is difficult to use at the same time to facilitate the definition of type. If I browse Typekit chances are that the font is not available in Muse of anyway. If I browse Muse I often can't find the fonts on Typekit site so I can get an overview of different sizes/weight to make a good decision about the appearance and readability for my viewers.

  Any suggestions?

  BTW, why the hell do not all browsers use rendering engine of type Design Mode of Muse? Typekit fonts are superb seen in Muse design but look like terrible everywhere else... even in own preview of Muse Mode. The only exception I can find is on an iPhone that alse makes type beautifully.

  Hi Bob,

  We analyzed these issues Typekit in another thread, but I write the information here as well for other users.

  Muse includes a set of free fonts & open source called the edge of Web fonts: https://edgewebfonts.adobe.com/.

  Most of the Web Edge fonts are also available on Typekit, but not all of them (as you found it).  The police that you mentioned, Aguafina Script, is offered by Google Fonts:

  Currently, you can only select and preview the edge of Web fonts in the application of the Muse.  You can still use other Typekit fonts on your website, however; they just will not be displayed in the preview of Muse.  The Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit include the code of the interface of Muse:

  Or you can add the embed code to the Properties dialog box of the Page within the Muse, which will include in theof the page when you export your Web site.

• Overview of Muse is not showing is not the correct fonts

  I am currently in the middle of building a site of fluid layout to Muse a typekit (Futura PT) font and until today, in Muse preview mode showed the site because I've been designing.

  I launched the site yesterday (www.weare-awesome.co.uk) howeverneeded to do some bug fixes. When I went back to the file in Muse, I've changed some things, went to listen to samples and the text had default Helvetica/Arial in this mode. I did a publication and online site shows Futura...

  It's really weird, however more so impractical to have a preview (offline) mode which is not displayed as expected because I need to test before you publish the modified changes.

  Can someone tell what is happening?

  I'm sorry you troubles here. The latest version of Muse does not require that you have a kit and it does not require that you add the embed code to the site. I'm removing the embed code and use the fonts described in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/muse/using/typekit-web-fonts.html

  In the version of June of Muse CC 2015 Typekit fonts have been integrated into the Adobe's Muse.

  Please try following steps to add them to your list of Web fonts.

  1. go into file > add/remove both

  2. Select the tab for typekit and "Proxima Nova" police search

  

  3. Select all, and then click OK

  4. these fonts will be added to the list of Web fonts.

• Muse requires a connection to the service

  I have raised this point before and the consensus was that widgets that require an internet connection are what brought the House of cards down.

  Once again I find myself having to deal with updates on a web site built Muse - without internet connection, unfortunately - emergency and find that the software is, despite promises that Adobe rely almost totally you, needless. I am unable to get an overview of the most basic pages. Pages which, in their entirety, were not a form online resources. Muse itself don't will not preview them, my browser (Safari) won't (ditto for freshly exported content). I am able to view the pages of the sites previously exported in offline mode, but not anything, I am currently working on.

  This is unacceptable Adobe!

  While I can understand that there is a constant user information and product between my workstation and servers Adobe flow I find ridiculous that it banned me from working while offline. It was less than a meager 18 hours since my last communication with servers Adoble and online (probably check the status of my account and suck everything that I have no control over). Still today - with my ADSL services down - I can take a vacation, read a book and tell my clients that I am unable to meet their needs. And yet, in a few days Adobe will sweep into my bank account and help itself to a WAD of cash.

  I EXPECT software to work better than this.

  Unless you use a Web safe font or install a Muse supported TypeKit fonts when designing or on your web page - Muse will turn these words into images to preserve their appearance.

  In addition, whenever you add text and try to create a hyperlink, it is said that the text requires the pixelation and the hyperlink does not work. In this case, either you use a font on the text system or apply the hyperlink to the structure of the whole text, not the selected text.
