  Changing the iTunes media folder location setting affects only where new additions to your library will be stored.  To use a disk external drive to store your library complete (and assuming that you have access to the original data of the library on an old computer) you must copy the iTunes folder, by default in C:\Users\username\Music, on the external drive - structure library and its records should be like this:

  I backed up my iPhone 6 today and then updated my phone to iOS 10 both the iTunes on my Windows PC to 10 to the latest version. Since then, when I plug my phone in its not appears on iTunes at all (no icon shows) - despite the phone in charge and be clearly connected to the computer. Can someone help me with this please?

  I am also having the same problem with my iPod. The iPhone is a 5 c, the iPod is a 5G. They have the latest version of the software, and iTunes on my PC is up to date as well. I tried restarting the PC and devices, I tried different USB ports, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the device drivers.

  I have not uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes yet, because I really do not have to rebuild my library of songs and lose all my counters and others.

  Any suggestions?

  Hello! If your devices running iOS 9, make sure that iTunes on your computer is v. 12.3 or higher. Earlier versions will not detect your device.

• More recent episode not showing in itunes

  The first two episodes of my podcast appeared fine on itunes, but the newest one seems do not introduce themselves! I checked with Wordpress (where I host RSS feeds blog) and I refreshed the stream of Podcast Connect. There is no problem on both ends, no idea why it does not appear?

  It is not really possible to comment unless you do not want to publish the URL of your feed two and the page of the shop - the latter can be found in control-click on the image of podcast (or where it should be) - and choosing "copy link".  Please include http:// in both cases to make clickable links.

• Last episode of podcast is not showing in iTunes Store

  I help my launch marries a podcast, and we are still pretty new to the process.  We noticed that her last episode, posted 6 days ago appears in the my iTunes Podcasts section, as well as on the application of Podcasts on my iPhone.  However, it is not yet displayed in the iTunes Store.

  Not looking through the active camera in your comp Viewer. You're looking through one of the other views (top, side, etc.) that displays only the 3d layers.

• the music will not show after update

  I've updated to 9.2.1 now I can't go to my music! When I open it, I get a picture of a girl with headphones on and the word 'music '.  That's all.  It came on my iPhone after upgrading too, but down, there was an option to try music from apple for 3 months or ignore.  It's not coming up on my iPad Air, and now I can't go to one of my music.  I tried to synchronize, reboot, but no luck.  I don't want to try apple's music, I just want to mine... any suggestions?

  It may take a few minutes - or more - before this is finally working, but I've seen several people talk about how they arrived at this situation.

  First go to settings > music > Apple music > Off. The following settings > WiFi > turn off. Then quit music completely, and then force restart the iPad.

  Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Drag to the left to find the music about slide upward on the overview of the application to close.

  To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

  Return to settings > WiFi > on. Start the music App. Wait a few minutes and make sure that the option to go to your own Muisc appears now.

• Layers and various actions is not showing / taking effect unless I restart AE CC2015 (last updated) regularly

  Until very recently I use after effects CC2014 because I found the original version of CC215 very, very unstable with an incredible number of glitches that made it unusable for the effective production work.

  Last month, although CC2015 has become more stable and (mostly) worked well.

  However, I've just updated to the latest major version (version 13.6.0.165), and he went back to being totally ineffective for real studio and production work.

  Adobe FYI I am running...

  • Windows 10
  • 32 GB of RAM
  • Intel i7 4770 k
  • NVIDIA GeForce 760, drivers latest

  As an example of what does not-that is to say "the most basic things..."

  • I have diapers that are set at 100% opacity are not displayed in the window of the model. They were 5 seconds there, but as I rub back, they disappear - does not appear again until I have shut down and restart After Effects.
  • The same goes for keyframing almost all properties. It seems to be fine, but then that key position, rotation, and opacity images are clearly present, they animation in the window don't match with what should happen - at all. Are not things that should be animating, and if they do, they are often wrong (i.e. a rotation of 50 degrees is seen almost 200 degrees)
  • If I hit CTRL + Z to undo an action, the action is cancelled in the scenario which is awesome, but nothing happens in the preview.
  • If I delete a whole layer in the timeline, this layer is sometimes still visible in the preview. I can even rub back in the timeline and the layer which is now non-existent compltetly is still there, animate and saw in the display!
  • Clearing/purging of the cache has no effect on all these issues - a closed comprehensive program is needed to get the layers removed actually remove, or for a keyframe be recognized etc..

  A project that should have taken about 5 hours takes much, much longer due to the number of reboots software that I need to do to try to circumvent the shortcomings of CC2015.

  I'm not new to After Effects - I used After Effects for years and have not changed my workflow. The things I'm doing are not complex, but CC2015 AE can barely make a layer in a simple composition.

  I don't know what changes have been made to preview engine, but it seems entirely screwed in this latest version.

  I love After Effects, I don't really have, but if there is an alternative at this point, I'd be more than happy to give them my money instead.

  Back to after effects CC2014 I want!

• Photo not showing in iTunes library

  I don't see any photo library inside iTunes-> phone-> photos.
  My complete collection of photos or any newly created test library can be selected in the option "copy photos since.

  I don't know if this question is related to the last update of macos 10.11.2 or some old files cleaning I do recently.

  Anyone know what's missing?

  BTW, Photos.app works without problem. I tried to create a new test library and set as a system library, but the result is the same.

  Icloud event library synchronization on the test library has no effect.

  You have activated the photo library, you use with Photos in the photo library of the system? In the Photos > Preferences > General.

  "Use as system library" option should be grayed out, indicating that the current library is the library system.

  

• I have a session recorded and made available offline. Connect has created an FLV file...

  but the file won't play in Internet Explorer. Connect done anything in the file that would prevent it from opening in a browser window?

  It is not a way that I am aware of change the durration of the life of this link. I don't remember where I got the number of 60 days either, because I can't find any documentation on how long the link is good for.

• iPhone, iPad Air 2 not recognized by iTunes

  Very frustrated right now. Given that Apple's Support is not in contact with return despite requests, the story will go here. I have Windows 10, iPhone 6 + and iPad Air 2. Last weekend I was invited to and did pass to iTunes 12.5.1.21. Plugged my iPhone 6 +. Not recognized by iTunes; 'sync' gray. Tried the same thing with my iPad 2 Air. Same result. I get no error message.  Here are my troubleshooting - what I'm missing, Apple?

  1. Lightning card Checked, works fine with other devices.
  2. Rebooted PC.
  3. Rebooted IPhone.
  4. Restarted iPad Air 2.
  5. I've tried different start up sequences (start iTunes connect manually; first)
  6. Went to 'Upgrade device via Device Manager' - these devices are working properly.
  7. Updated my iPhone and iPad 2 air for iOS 10 successfully.
  8. Apple email support; 48 hours later they gave me another email address for contact.
  9. Chose the Contact Apple Support via phone option - screen "we will call you - your phone will ring at any time.  Still waiting for the phone to ring.
  10. From Discussions on Apple's site with troubleshooting tips, have tried all suggestions with no luck - If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support.
  11. I even opened and closed the blinds completely throughout my house to see if that would help.  Go figure.
  12. The last resort on them, says "Contact Apple support" - see #9 above.  Twice.

  Apple-Support - What should I do at this point?  I'm all ears, and Android is looking better and better during my next upgrade.

  Happy to report that I finally found a position that has fixed this. Someone has to give Community contributor turingtest2 a price, they had an incredible post in communities that have corrected my problem.  See below for the excellent suggestions.

  Select the sidebar if hidden. View options > view as may depend on which of the options for the song, artist, album, etc. are selected in the sidebar.

  I see that you don't see the option to display the lyrics of some songs. The most common reason for this is that the song you're listening to has no lyrics available to see. You can try to download a new song or two and see if the lyrics are available for those.
