  • Move music to sd card using xperia companion

I'm trying to use the xperia companion to move music from my computer Windows 10 in my z4 xperia tablet.  It does not recognize my sd card, only the tablet itself, which does not have enough space for my music folder.  Is there a way to get the xperia companion to recognize the sd card to transfer music file from my computer?

Thanks for the reply! Figured it out. Music files were actually placed on my SD card, but the companion software was using the remaining space on my Xperia instead of the SD card reader to determine how I could transfer. This and there was a nomedia file in the folder that I was transferring music, the music of my Xperia app doesn't recognize as music. Transferred music through into small pieces and removed the nomedia file and I was good to go.

  • Deliver to store music on SD card

    Hello

I do know that if someone else has had this problem - when I use WMP to sync music to my phone via USB, SD card in the phone will not receive synchronization of files, so that files are transferred in the phone from the internal memory to the SD card using ES File Explorer.

When I check the empty SD card folders that they - files had been transferred from WMP to the internal phone memory (I know that coz I played 'em to check) but transfer onto the SD card seems to transfer the file without good content that YOU showed each file moving in turn.

The transfer of WMP on the SD card directly worked but now does not work - the only differences between successful or not attempts were the Windows 10 upgrade to the latest version on the original machine (the big update published last week) and protection AVG removed from the phone (I thought that may be the origin of the problem)

Someone has seen this you problem? I am puzzled, especially the transfer worked, but now won't.

Help all welcome, thanks in advance... wrighty

Oh for ref the SD card is a Sandisk class 10 SDHC 32 GB.

Just to let you all know, it was a faulty card problem, another card has solved the problem, thanks for the views

    1. you are trying to delete the songs copied to the media player library?

    2. what exactly happens when you try to remove the music?

    3. you receive error messages or codes?

You must go to the original location and choose the music from there to delete.

    a. Insert your memory card into a supported card reader connected to the PC.

    b. Select "Open folder to view files" in the dialog that opens on the desktop.

    c. or go to the "Start" menu and select the folder "computer". Double-click the removable disk.

    d. find the music file should be deleted. Right-click on the file and select Delete.

I am puzzled, the PC has a smart media slot, slot for mmc memory stick / SD and connector flash...? any help will be much appreciated... Thank you

Have you ever used this drive with this card before?

What is the capacity of the SD card?

What version of Windows, including the service pack is installed?  There was a problem reading SD cards that has been corrected in service pack 3.  See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946629
Even with the hotfix mentioned above, old card readers SD can not read the new SDHC (high capacity or more than 2 GB) cards.  If you have a card > SD 2 GB and an older drive (how old is the computer), you may need to buy an external card reader.  They are not very expensive.

    Is this possible.
When connecting to a mercedes through the usb port.

    Hi Deshtruction,

Discussion welcome in the community! Since you are new, please make sure that you have removed from our scope of Discussion

It's going to really be based on the unit that you connect to, it may be possible to the main unit to see the SD card if in MSC mode, however you can only really clarify by testing.

Let us know how you go.

  • KRZR K1: Card Micro sd, music transfer problem

Hi everyone, hope someone can help me!  My son drives me crazy - he wants to put some music on his card micro sd (2 GB of Sandisk) to play on his phone.  Well, I'm no computer boffin but I can format the micro sd card in the phone and transfer files to a card via the computer easily BUT (and this is the problem) we cannot find how to play on the phone!  The phone recognizes that the map has been updated, but how can we find the music that's out there?  Really simple and easy to follow instructions please otherwise I won't have a clue!  (My music files are already on your computer in windows media player - if it helps).

Please please help me and my son to stop harassing the daylights living out of me!

    Thank you.

I think that the Krzr K1 phones can only take up to 1 GB cards. I could be wrong, but I think that there is something in this regard. Secondly, this phone is not read WMA files. I suggest to put MP3 files stored on your Windows Media Player with a bitrate of 128 Kbps on your pc and then synchronize. I think that you need version 11 or more. You can also drag the method - déposer. First of all, you need to get the right format well.

  • I think my microSD card is broken...

If I have music on my card (even if its only song) it doesn't start. It will freeze after sansa logo. If I insert it after his it starts refreshing and never ends. So far I have leave refresh for an hour for a song and no dice. This card works very well on my clip + and so do the mp3 that I use. I can't add music to it while inside the player as he never climbs the sd card. I get a message saying that it cannot be mounted (osx). Also at the top is out of my drive is not come up with the right cable, it came with a mini-usb instead of a micro-USB cable. He came new on amazon, so I guess it was messed up at the factory.

Yes, I would want to contact Amazon for a replacement. They are very good about this. Funny on the cable. Never heard of that one.

  • Zip clip does not play music

Hi, I have problems with my Zip Clip. The last time that I used it, all the files/folders on this subject were deleted. I recreated the music folder and added a few songs that were playable on the front. When I click on the songs, they do not play. The text scrolls and but the progress bar never moves and theres no sound. It's not a headset issue. radio still works. I tried to reset and also updated the firmware. He has now TWO files 'Music' (one is what I created). It won't let me copy in the other folder of music or one of the automatically created folders.

Edit to add: I managed to do play music from SD card. It's just the internal memory that does not work. I added a few songs in the 'real' internal sync for WMP music folder. He jumps through all the songs in the internal memory now. This sounds like a hardware problem?

I would try to format (Settiings > system settings > Format) which will clear the memory and then re - load some files on the internal memory and see if they play. They are not DRM files (Rhapsody, sound, etc.) are they?

I would also keep WMP from the equation. Set the player in MSC mode (settings > system settings > USB Mode > MSC) and just drag & drop (copy & paste) files from your computer to the player.
