All of the previous answers to this question are all about 2011 are resolutely "affirmative", they care. I know that Microsoft has had a change of heart (at least I think) regarding their operating system. With the upcoming free update, I was hoping I could recycle my Windows 7 64 bit, an increase in the time up to 10 comes out.

  My old laptop crashed, but fortunately I got the hard drive out, who now works as an external drive. I installed TB on my new laptop computer.   On versions of IOS... it's confusing because incoming and outgoing have two requirements of different version (and they are so close, almost everyone hurt Lise). So, to incoming, minimum IOS 12.2 (8) T (twelve point TWO - real old stuff). For outgoing, is 12.3 (7) T minimum.

  Of course, if you want to have both, then the minimum is T. 12.3 (7)

  I think the memory requirements are 128 Meg. Store and before faxes takes a lot of memory. It is not that bad in terms of CPU, but the more memory, the better. In some versions (can not say all) when you configure the feature, it will complain that it didn't have enough memory to do. I don't think that 64 MB would be sufficient, unfortunately.

  It is certainly possible, in fact, it should be fairly simple how experienced you are with computers. Hand, you have a few options I can think. Was of course since I am not aware of what kind of hard drive in your old computer, you will probably need to buy an additional cable\cord\connector to connect to the motherboard, and if it is an old IDE drive, you can buy an IDE to SATA as one of them.

  This is all assuming you want to keep the hard drive installed on the PC. And although it may sound intimidating or difficult to do, it's really not! If you can put some screws with a screwdriver, you will be able to install the old drive if your new PC. Simply enter the model number of your PC to the HP drivers & support web page or click on the following link: upgrade and repair, (this is for the model number you provided) read the first couple pages & then proceed to PDF page #17. Read & review the instructions once in a relationship, print out the instructions if necessary, collect tools (flat head screwdriver & anti-static bracelet), then just follow instructions & take your time paying attention to the illustrations. It is frankly less work & easier than typing all of this out.

  Either way, you can easily connect to your computer must use one of these: existingUSB-adapters IDE that allows you to directly access a device of ATA/ATAPI IDE interface. Everything is a matter of preference and what you are comfortable doing.  To find these items I already mentioned, just google 'em and either find a computer store nearby and investigate with them or order from a decent distributor in your country for the best prices. Overall, there are many more options that I've listed here, but they are all relatively will do the same thing; that is the type of player, you must convert a USB cord. Hope this helps!
