my "A" key is stuck on my my m6-1035dx Pavilion laptop

I have a problem with my m6-1035dx Pavilion Entertainment PC.  I just bought the laptop a little more a month ago, but virtually right out of makes it key box 'A' one click and speed glue second when I type.  I have spilled something on my laptop as I know.  I checked all the other keys and everything is smooth and works very well, it's just the A"" key.   Is there a way sure to delete the key to check it, or clean, or is there something else I can do?  Thank you.

  • Windows will behave as if the left SHIFT key is stuck

I had this recurring problem where Windows will behave as if the left SHIFT key is stuck. I opened the keyboard on the screen and it does not show the key to press. While this issue happens, unplug the keyboard and by him plugging back in does not solve it.

I'm pretty sure that NOT to be the problem:
    (1) something inside the keyboard causing it to stick.
    (2) the keyboard is defective.
    (3) to a new update/program installed.
    (4) initiated by the user, (seemingly random).
    (5) the motherboard is faulty.

After searching several forums, it is clear that this is a widespread problem and is NOT limited to my hardware or operating system.
Unfortunately, it seems that most Tech this fired up as an individual problem and do not give the solution of rolling back/reinstall windows, which are not an option for me.

It is not last forever, which means that I still have not restart before it fixed itself (sometimes), and I tried almost every combination of buttons to try to repair.

Once again, I searched for some time prior to this announcement and have found no answers at the moment. Thank you for your time.

I had the same problem after breaking down or brewing Maj (sticky keys). See if the "Set up sticky keys" or deactivating solves the problem.

Even if you say that's not a bad keyboard, it could be. Try using a different keyboard if the deactivation of the sticky keys does not work. Sorry if it's a laptop and you do not have a USB keyboard.

It is not so much a problem, but this kind of boring.

I was wondering if it would be possible to Exchange, so that when I refresh the page for example, I could just hit f5, and when I want to enable back light keyboard, I could hold fn and press f5.

    Hello

You should be able to change the default behavior of the keys f as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the Bios ( f10 ) option, and then change the figure in the document at the following link.

  • Where can I find key for business to Vista pre-installed on my laptop?

Where can I find key for business to Vista pre-installed on my laptop?  Yes, I have a legal authenticated copy of Vista business on my laptop.  I recently had to reinstall everything on my laptop, but had some problems using the backup disks that I initially created for this purpose.  I finally managed to do it, but it would be so much easier in the future if I had a with key correct installation disc.  So, first of all, where can I download an Installation of Vista Business disc; and second, where I look on my current laptop installation to determine the key authenticated for my current installation?  Is this possible?

    Hello

Many manufacturers of computers DO still have available Vista recovery discs.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    Hello

My Hp Pavilion laptop 2244sa g6 does not come with the product key for windows8. Is this normal? I can't see it anywhere, should I worry?

Some laptops, like my Envy 17-3002ea loan, have the certificate of authenticity Windows hidden in the compartment where the hard drive and the battery are.  First try.

Other portable latest and which may include yours, have the Windows license key encrypted in the BIOS.  There is a thread on the Microsoft communities that verifies that. The thread is worth reading.

  • Satellite U305 - left CTRL key is stuck

Somehow, in a hurry one day, I published a few unusual combination of keys such as Fn-break, Ctrl-Ins or something like and now the left WHAT CTRL is stuck to restart the computer. I can't Ctrl + C or CTRL-V with the left CTRL key.

I can at least use the keyboard as long as I hit Fn-end after each reboot.

Is there a way I can reset the keyboard to remove this problem? Thank you.

    Hello!

I think that I n the new good t for you because it of not possible to Exchange simple keys on the keyboard.
So in this case you need a new full keyboard because you can buy than a single key or something else.

To find a new keyboard, you must contact the nearest authorized service provider. Technicians can order a new keyboard and Exchange.

As much as I know keyboards are not so expensive.

  • Keys get stuck on the Satellite A60 - 142

Hello all, I hope someone can help me here.
Currently I; m using my laptop frequently, I write a thesis.
I have problems with my keyboard: some keys stuck after working for a while, it is never from the beginning. The keys that get stuck caps lock, shift, and CTRL keys, very irritating when you type a text. Restart is not enough, when I do that some letter keys do not work. The laptop must be turned on during some time to make it work properly again. Anyone have experience with this problem and knows how to solve?

Thanks, has soon B.T., Amsterdam, Holland

    Hello

What do you mean exactly? The essential mechanism or the key issue of software?
If you mean the key mechanism then I recommend to remove the CAP from the keyboard and then you can try to clean the key spot. Perhaps a dirt and grime could have a negative influence on the use of the key.

But if it is a software problem if the cleaning process will not help.
Sometimes cable keyboard could have a bad influence on the function of the keyboard.
Have you tried to reinstall the OS? I think you should check if the new installation of the OS could solve this problem.

  • Computer HP laptop slim 500 GB HARD drive: used for HP laptop HARD drive upgraded to Win 10 Pro with key now stuck after HP Drive Encryption Login

I bought a portable hard drive used HP for the upgrade of my Lenovo G550 with ugraded CPU with Intel's CORE DUO T9300 2.50 ghz

(HP hard drive: computer laptop slim drive HARD 500 GB SERIAL ATA DISK DRIVE S/N W627S9NL P/N 756731-001 MFG Seagate Technologies DOM 8 / 2015)

I was happy to see that the hatd drive had already installed because Windows 7 I had bought already separate legitimate Windows 10 Pro license key for the upgrade. I was able to go online and download the upgrade of Windows 10 and used my purchased license key to activate my updated.

While doing the installation, there are some HP software that was still on the hard drive. I thought it would be good to have some additional security protocols, so I also installed the WinMagic Securedoc Bootloader v1.2.12 and saved the drive encryption HP with the security issues and password for secondary access.

10 Windows has been activated and everything was beautiful. But when I restarted the laptop, I put my password for windows and then it goes to this screen of disc HP encryption rises. I put the password and it is accepted - and then the screen turns white... not offshore... jblank TEU with a cursor flashing that doesbn can't react to inputs.

I tried leaving it for a day or so and still nothing.  There is nothing I can change in the configuration of the BIOS that works so far.

I also tried Reimage download on USB and re-creation of the sequence of boot, but not good. Even tried a boot drive, but nothing there either. I'll try again.

I don't know where to go or how to get beyond the screen of HP encryption.  I am pretty good at following directions, I don't know coding, but may do what you suggest to help me fix this problem.

    Can you help me?

Sorry... I missed the part that you have a license Win10.  I thought you were trying to activate 10 using the OEM HP license and causing problems.

I do not use HP encryption applications - as having recently completed a career in the InfoSec, I personally focus together on the encryption of the PC to be laughable-, but my guess is that you are basically out of luck.

If it was my drive, I WIPE the drive of all its content and then again install Win10.  A good product to do i.e. DBan: http://tiptopsecurity.com/how-to-securely-wipe-your-hard-drive-with-dban-erase-your-data-for-good/

Once your disc is clean, then simply install Win10 on it.

That said, with a bit of luck, one of the HP EXPERTS will probably come along and tell you how to get around their encryption.

    Good luck

  • Computer laptop keyboard acts as the CTRL key is stuck

No particular reason, that I can isolate, the keyboard on my brand new HP laptop will act sometimes as sank the CTRL key.  For example, if I type 'problem' when the problem occurs, most applications will be to print this page. It is especially annoying and I can't reproduce the problem... it is seemingly random.

I disabled all the keyboard shortcuts as I can find a way to make keys sticky. I installed all available updates. I removed the keyboard driver and let the system to reinstall. And many other things I could think

The only thing that seems to make the problem disappear (outside reboot) is to bring up the keyboard on the screen. All loading screen keyboard fixes the problem. This leads me to think that the problem may ultimately reside with the on-screen keyboard.

I have not installed software on this computer that came with it at HP except Google Chrome.

Return "no questions asked" warranty will expire soon, so I would like to get this resolved as soon as POSSIBLE

    Hello

I got this computer for years and ad just the motherboard replaced. Now he asks me the product key and after that I put in, I get a prompt that displays "the product key is not valid.

I called HP and everything with an explained Tech and they said I had to pay $99.00 to receive support, but I said I could not afford and has been mentioned here for assistance.

Help, please.  I don't know what else to do. Receive your response in advance.

    Hi Twin24,

A new motherboard is a new PC.

You can buy an OEM or a full retail copy of Win 7 or Win 8 - 8.1.

Win Vista is no longer officially available for retail sale.

You must then reinstall Windows and install the necessary drivers for optimum PC operation.

You could also install a free version of Linux. Ubuntu is a good choice.

You can also test drive Ubuntu. Download the ISO and burn to disc.

Boot the disk and try it.

  • can I remove one of the keys on my keyboard on my computer portable pavilion g6

    Product number is A1J18AV

There is something behind my "D" key on my keyboard and it is difficult to press. Can I remove the key? and if I can, how?

    Hey armyman1016,

Unfortunately, you can't take off individual keys. You can take the entire keyboard that will not give you the ability to watch under a certain touch, however.

Now, if a small vacuum cleaner with a brush is available, use it to clear the keyboard of the debris. A can of compressed air can be used to blow the particles that get between the keys.

    Hope that answers your question.
