My Acer P193W monitor (digital)

My Acer monitor is old, basically, that's and Acer is no longer in the file that seems... even if I changed the setting, Windows must now allow updates on devices, I think it is called.  The update, which is dated 6/2007 fails.  I can't find it in the web site of Acer.

tell what version of windows OS?

the latest driver available for your model is for Vista.

  • Acer G246HL monitor (UM. FG6EE. B01) - screen Type

Just installed acer G246HL monitor and cannot work my way through the display settings, I can get the menu but that's it, how to choose different settings?

There should be buttons on the left of the switch (if not tactile, possibly sensitive to touch). It is without a doubt between a "right", "left", "menu", "entry", perhaps a few others. Menu course should open the menu (that you've probably discovered), while others (especially the left and right) can be used to navigate in the menu. It may take some experimenting (as all monitors seems slightly different), but it shouldn't be too hard. If all else fails, check the manual you should have received with the monitor - which should list the keys; where they are and what they do. And, just to make sure you know, you can use regular peripheral of entry (mouse, keyboard, etc.) to control the menu on screen.

  • Cannot get my Acer X223W monitor widescreen (DVI + HDMI with adapter Apple) to show anything.

    Separated from this thread.

    Yes two years late.

I went to the Acer site to try to find the updated drivers for my Acer x223w LCD monitor, but the only driver, they offered was for the 32-bit version of windows.  Where did you get the 64 bit version.

I'm having a similar problem where the display does not indicate a signal from a DVI - D port on my motherboard (Asus Z97 Pro (wifi) with a processor of 4790 K with HD 4600 video intel).  However, it will be a 'Digital' signal when I connect it with the same cable to a passive adapter plugged into the display port.

So I was looking for a solution to this strange cannot read a DVI - D signal for some reason any.  And Yes, all pilots are supposed to be updated.

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I will surely help you this question.

This problem could occur due to corrupted drivers.

I suggest you to check with the Acer support, if they have a driver updated 64-bit for Windows 8.

  • I just installed Windows XP (Yes, XP) with Acer AL1716 monitor attached, but it installed as defa

Hello: I couldn't find a Board appropriate to post to, so here goes. My name is Ken and I am new to this forum.

I just had to install Windows XP as another OS on my desktop Dell, yes XP! The attached monitor is a model Acer AL1716, [editing to conform to the guidelines]. The monitor installed as a default monitor 16-bit color (which does not show a higher option) and the resolution of 640 x 480, which cannot be changed by dragging the bar to a higher resolution. The VGA monitor appears under other devices in Device Manager, but I can't get the update of the driver

RESOLVED: I was able to look at an installation of XP Pro monitor in Device Manager. I then downloaded & installed

"82865 G Graphics Controller" (Extreme Graphics 2) on the Site of Intel... Restrict the search to XP, and there are 4 choices. I downloaded the zip for XP version.

  • 'Input not supported' with Acer AL2216W monitor

I use Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2 in a system with an Intel D946GZIS motherboard and an ACER AL2216W LCD display panel. This system has worked well for over a year, but recently in a battle of two months with a problem of code 10, the screen would occasionally drain and display "Input not supported" in a small floating window. As a first step, start with F8 would allow the system to boot in a 640 x 480 window which would quickly find its native resolution of 1680 x 1050. But now it starts directly from the screen to 640 x 480 to the State banned in normal mode, make possible adjustments to display.

I can still use this display Mode without failure, but find that Safe Mode display adjustments do not affect the display in normal mode. In addition, a panel of HDTV used as a monitor instead of the Acer works wonderfully in normal mode in 1920 x 1080, but display settings to a lower resolution made with it do not persist when Acer Board is restored. Finally, my system is no longer recognizes the Acer AL2216W, but use a "default monitor.instead." And I can not install the Acer in the Mode panel without failure!

You can try to uninstall your display driver in Device Manager, then reboot. Check if the monitor is listed under Device Manager. Your monitor should be below or try to reinstall the driver using the procedure on the link in my first answer.

You can then go to the support site for your computer manufacturer and download the latest display driver specific to your operating system. Look for instructions on how to uninstall previous drivers and install the latest driver.

  • Acer G257HLBIDX monitor HDMI audio issues

Just today, I bought myself a G257HLBIDX monitor... I had read, it was stated that the monitor provides basic audio features. I have limited through my HDMI on my GPU and thankfully to start my PC. The resolution was neat, imagination was great, I connect to my Windows 10 and I go on my setting configurations because I expected that I would have at least set the audio device as the default monitor...

As I thought, it was required so after, I get on YouTube to try volume so I can adjust it... But at the exit. The monitor has been recognized as a speaker and in the volume mixer he showed that they receive an audio but there was no sound.

There is no driver for the monitor either so I can't fault that. I would like to help.

Thanks to all who could take the time to read and respond to this message.

    Midnighthunter,

Go to your audio playback options and make sure that your audio files by default is value, which I think you have, you have a headset or speakers plugged into the port on the back of the monitor audio output, since it doesn't have speakers built in?

  • ACER X223W monitor

I want to remove my monitor X223W settlement and the related appendices. Is this possible? I am installing a dual screen system, and the bulk of the material that attached to the back of the monitor is a bit unsightly in this type of circumstance. Any suggestions where I might find an illustrated manual or something that could have a series of illustrations etc. ?

Unfortunately, there is no disassembly illustrated manuals.

You will have a hinge cover left and right support arm.  Remove them carefully.

Remove the 4 screws under the hinge covers.

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao!
