My Adobe Flash crashes on right-click

Hello

I don't know how long it has been happening, but my adobe flash, and any flash programs will crash on right click. I've tried it with Add-Ons disabled and enabled, and am still having the same problem. I've tried uninstalling Flash and I've reset Firefox. I've attempted to turn off protected mode and disable hardware accelleration through the mms.cfg found in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash and I still cannot. Any help would be great in trying to identify why this is happening.

  • Adobe Flash crashes constantly, reset or update is not good

I did this for years. I have "reset" Firefox many times, I uninstalled Adobe Flash and reinstalled version 16.0.0.235. After I uninstalled it and updated it ran for a while but I'm back for the message "Flash is busy." The only way I can go is to stop the plug or turn it off, but of course, then I have no video. I installed "Videowithoutflash" (I think that's the name of it listed with Firefox extension very reviewed and everything went very well for a day about. But then the next day no videos might play unless I enabled flash, and then it starts soon to crash again. It is a problem for many years. I have been through many forums, trying to find an answer, nothing works, or if it's not for long. Is there a way to get rid of Adobe Flash and play videos? There are browsers that do not use flash to view videos? Help!
    Thanks in advance
    Bill

  • Adobe Flash crashes after update 07/09/14.

I updated Adobe Flash a few days ago (9/7 if I'm not mistaken) and since that time Adobe Flash frequently stops working and constantly crashes in Firefox (about 15 times according to my function of crash report) - showed a dialog screen that says it stopped operating and questioning if I want to continue to use the card or stop it.

(I specifically have defined Flash on manual download to understand such things as the last time something like this happened after an audio Adobe update stops on Youtube - and it was a problem from Adobe.)

The Firefox forum has a long thread on this current problem... trying to figure out if it's Firefox - but I think it's maybe Adobe (as it was in the case of Youtube).  May I recommend Adobe to install a 'feedback' accident site after updates to so that you can find these more fast - if they really are from Adobe?  The problem of Youtube took nearly two weeks to fix and I think it's because you didn't know.

Thank you...   If you have another answer that would be great - in the meantime I will continue to use Chrome until I get a reply...

p.s. I already turned off protect mode and hardware acceleration in Firefox to see if that helps.  This isn't.

We shipped a new version yesterday.  It might be useful to update.

That said, if you could provide links to submitted incident reports, I'd be happy to take a look.

    Go about: crashes

If the link does not start with "bp", click on the link submit accident report

Return to the about: crashes page

You could start by uninstalling Bit Defender Total Security, if you have one. Frustration with malfunction of right-click, I did a clean and added hardware installation and software point by point. Right-click crashed the computer as soon as I updated Bit Defender 2010. The problem has disappeared as soon as I uninstalled Bit Defender and installed AVG. Checked with forum user Bit Defender and, Yes, they know the problem.

  • FF crashes when right click on web page

When I right click on a link, or anywhere on a site of FF is suspended. It takes forever for the display of the menu and sometimes it seems not at all. If I right click on the toolbar area there is no problem with the menu right back.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • LabVIEW 7.1.1 crash on right-click Subvi

We started to have a problem on a computer, with a 3.4 ghz, card mother dual core to Intel, win XP pro. When a Subvi, usually homemade and started under a previous version of labview, is right click on the scheme, we have a dialog box indicating that "Labview has encountered a problem and needs to close." No joke. It goes away as someone files a lawsuit in paternity. We use some Measurement Computing devices, and their vi seems particularly prone to this. I read the previous thread of 2005, which did not offer much help. Have already installed drivers updated graphics Intel (seemed set for a while, but NOT), removed/reinstalled Labview, tried repair by councils Travis H. in fourm thread above:

Also tried to set the computer to use a kernel in the BIOS. Anyone have any new ideas?

Problem solved. I moved the offending userlib to another machine and reproduce the problem. Then copied dir.mnu file fronm the good user.lib to the bad user.lib, and the problem disappeared. I had tried to change one that was on the machine of problem a long time ago. He showed a userlib another icon in the palette userlib, which seemed strange to me, but never occurred to me that this could bring down the entire system. All fixed now. Something about the UI in this palette editor, never made sense to me. I have probably committed a sin and walked away. Proabably made no difference until we went to v7.1.

  • Windows explore crashes on right-click

Whenever I do a right click on a file in Windows Explorer, I get a message that Windows Explorer has stopped working and then it shut downto the office.  I am running Windows Vista Home Premium on a gateway GT5228. It has 2 GB of ram and unused 140 GB hard disk.  I've been running Vista for about a year and the problem just started a week ago.  I hope someone has a suggestion because at the moment I can't delete or rename anything.  I ran a software antivirus and anti spyware and found nothing.  Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi ranma100,

Right-click accidents are caused by third-party shell extensions. You can use the excellent ShellExView to isolate the problem. For more information, see "Method 2" section right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menus management. Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Desktop Experience]
