• Alienware 51 X R2; Black screen problems

  So I installed a new driver for my GTX 645, and then he was only running games with my integrated graphics card when I run on Steam.

  Ah, nevermind, I solved the problem by plugging the HDMI into the GPU directly, and change the BIOS settings back to auto, now the only question is my integrated graphics crush my games.

  I'm about to shake off the balcony of my Alienware 17 x R4. I have a computer game that won't play games and I can't find a way to make do. Whenever I start a game the screen turns black and the game is reduced in the taskbar and won't play no matter what I do. No error message not just an icon in the task bar and I can hear the audio of the game. I tried EVERYTHING I found in ALL the forums, I have visited and nothing works. Is not graphics cards is not the firewall is not the resolution settings, is not the compatibility settings, it is not game management applications, is not the games, is not material, so what causes this problem? I'm more frustrated by that. Please, someone tell me there is a PERMANENT solution to this problem. I'd hate to have to trade my beautiful machine for a Mac, but if it comes to that, I will.   I have been using your Inspiron desktop for work. Work requires me to a startup USB flash drive every morning to access work files and programs. I just press F12 and select the USB flash drive that brings me then in a workplace Ubuntu after entering my credentials - very easy.

  I recently bought the X 51 office because I wanted the game after work and it was intended to replace the Inspiron.

  X 51 issues (boot BiOS - secure boot off as with the Inspiron):

  I tried USB different slots, ending different to access USB - nothing works!

  I tested another theory that would disable the GPU of the X 51, but this proved futile because the problems themselves was replicated. The GPU is the only unique component between two desktop computers. CPU is i3, i5 vs, vs 4g 8g, 1 TB vs. 2 TB, so I do not see these improvements of specification being the culprit. The X 51 has a different unique Alienware BiOS interface.

  The X 51 will be returned to Dell unless someone can some up with a solution - I would be eternally grateful, thank you.

  Additional information:

  All I need is a solution to recover my computer to the operating state, I don't mind if my things you lose (Nothing important in my computer everything), but I prefer to get my things always. Everything still works well, the lights on the keyboard are the word 'ALIENWARE' is always on and also, I can feel cold air coming out of the computer, so I guess that my fan is still fine.

  Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

  I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation. I tried to update some of my apps, when suddenly the screen froze. I clicked once on the home button and the screen become black with the subsequent appearance of the circle of rotation.

  I have tried everything - simultaneously press the home button and power (does not work). connected to itunes to do a restore (it won't let me not because my "find my iPhone" was turned on - but I could not turn off because my phone was insensitive).

  In any case, a very useful Mr. Damon (Senior Advisor to Apple) helped me via chat to solve the problem.

  Here's what I did:

  1. make sure that your iPhone is disconnected from the socket or the computer.

  2. hold the POWER button and the VOLUME DOWN button at the same TIME. If it works, the screen should turn off almost immediately.

  3. connect your iPhone to the computer. (when I have connected to the computer, my iPhone automatically on and was ready to be reused).

  The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

  4. go to www.icloud.com.

  5. click on Find iPhone

  6. given that the phone is turned off already, he won't be able to find it. On the top bar, click DEVICES.

  7. click on your iPhone.

  8. click on "delete account".

  9. go into your itunes and do a restore.

  I did have to do steps 4 to 9 more, because as I said, my iPhone automatically activated after step 3.

  I have the same problem.  3 co-workers have the same problem.  I opened a discussion with the Apple support, however, they said it was just my phone and that I should backup my phone and do a factory restore.  This is pretty extreme, especially considering that 100% of my immediate peers with iPhone devices 6 face the same frustration.
