(Redirected) Only black screen no signal after Respawn Alienware updated

Initially, I was trying to update Windows Windows 8 to 10. After having a Setup error, a message of Alienware Respawn arose on update before you upgrade to Windows 10. I decided to go ahead and try it, after updating my computer restarted and not Sam a black no signal screen. After a few hours, I thought that nothing was happening so I reset my computer. Now, whenever I start all I get is a black screen with no signal. I tried to run hdmi cables and it didn't fix it.

  • After logging on my Satellite Pro only black screen and the cursor are visible

I have a windows vista pro (PSAASE-00G004GR) satellite after turn on and typing the password for windows vista, the screen goes black but I see that the cursor moves & because it seems that the hard drive also works in th background, but I can't see anything except the mouse cursor , I tried to boor with other options (LAST WORK safe MODE KNOWN FEATURES... etc) but it's still the same only black screen and the cursor...

I do not prefer the product cause of my data recovery on this subject, any ideas?
    thnx

    Hello

You have the Satellite Pro A100 PSAAS hmm if you want to save your personal data, I recommend to remove the portable computer HARD drive and try connecting it to another computer via an external USB HDD controller. These cases of 2.5 HARD disk are not expensive and you can buy it in every store of the computer.

Then you could try to recover the laptop delivered together with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
But wait; have you tried to connect the laptop to the external display?
    Check it!
Maybe you could see something on the second screen.

I think that this procedure could be useful to clarify what s wrong.
To me this question looks like a small little dysfunction of the FL inverter.
In this case the installation of the new operating system will help you not to solve this problem.

But who knows the verification is necessary to find what could be wrong.

    Good luck and bye ;)

  • After update Windows7, Firefox is no longer in effect. Only black screen no menu only.

Posted solutions include new download video driver. Not something I am qualified to do this. I don't understand why Firefox is the only browser hit after the Windows update. IE, Chrome, and Safari all work normal.

Hello cwhowell2, if the ability to download a new driver update did not yet exist, disable hardware acceleration.

If you cannot open firefox to reach the option of hardware acceleration, and then start firefox in SafeMode by pressing the SHIFT key pressed while starts the application and then disable hardware acceleration.

    exit firefox and restart.

  • Satego X 200 - 21U - only black screen on startup

    Hello

I am owner of a SATEGO x 200-21 U with geforce 8700 m GT. The last time I used it, it freezes within windows. Just the backlight lights up after reboot. I have no picture, just black screen.

Even the Toshiba sign at the start of the laptop, the will does not appear. I think my interface is broken. I wrote to the Toshiba Service several times but I have no answer.
I think that if you're out of warranty, you are off customership... friendly service... thank you Toshiba suggestions where I can get a spare part for my laptop?

    > If you are out of warranty, you're out of customership
This is certainly not the truth. The only difference is that you pay for the repair when the laptop is out of warranty. For me it makes sense that this situation should be more interesting for services because they earn the defective notebook computers repair.

If there are other SPAS in your country, call and ask for help.
In general the graphics card replacement is not possible and I do not think that you will be able to find as unique hardware component. As far as I know, the whole motherboard must be exchanged.
Where to find the new motherboard?

You can try to order directly by Toshiba service partner or try to find that some used one on eBay.
Hmmmmm... I fear it won't be easy to find it m.

I have installed nearly all other official drivers from the HP page packages.

  • Black screen on startup after windows update 7 crashed

    Hello

    Hope you can help.

I have windows 7 64 bit installed and everything was fine until last night.

It seems a windows update has been downloaded and when I turned my PC it was installing the update - the projection of the usual blue installation screen updates etc.

It took a long time and it seems to me he had crashed, has frozen I couldn't move the mouse.

Yes I know it says that you should not turn the PC while the update was the installation, but for me, it seemed like it had crashed and frozen upward.

So I decided turn off the pc and he left the next day to check the pc.

I turn on the pc and select windows 7 in my list - I have Setup dual boot

I get the message that windows did not start properly, so I select boot normally - I get the swirly logo appear and then just a black screen with the cursor that responds to moving the mouse.

There's just the black screen with the cursor and pass to the next step of the login screen.

I think because of the windows don't update not install correctly and turning the pc off this contributed to hang on the black screen.

I tried to start in safe mode to see if the same problem which he passes, I can connect via the SafeMode very well and have the available login screen and entered fine windows via safe mode.

I get ideas as to what I can do to solve this black screen?

To confirm once again, this has happened after a windows update tries to install, but as I felt it had crashed I turned off the pc - no drivers graphics etc. have been installed for a long time - only this update of windows

I hope you can help, thank you very much

    InnI

EDIT: Just to add that I tried to do a restore point, but as I turned it off I don't have the option to do so.

    Hi Martin,

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried something last night after going through loads of forums.

I tried F8 for advanced startup options, and I'll give you good last thinking setting up a go, known guess what, it worked!

I was able to return in Office windows as usual, I even installed the update that it crashed on the last time, well, I think that he reinstalled the last update, it crashed on... anyway, I think I'm back to normal, but will check it out tonight but if you are still having problem try what I did It can work for you.

  • HP Pavilion dv6: black screen with cursor after the connection

  • Re: Satellite A300D-13 has: problems starting - starts not or only black screen

Hello, I have a Satellite A300D-13 has and the problem is, when I try to start the laptop for most, he tries to boot from the hard drive or the DVD drive but then he just stops and starts again immediately to do the same. In this case 4 or 5 times. Once it seems that it starts well, but the only thing I see is a black screen. And the keyboard does not work either.

If I try several time with closing by pressing the power button (you know who I mean), I managed it starts normally (but such a situation is always annoying). Moreover, it seems that this happens only when I did use the laptop for a while. So maybe it has something to do with the temperature. But more or less 20 ° C in my room.

In the Bios I have change the boot order of the sources (I can't change it much more)

I am grateful for any kind of help.
Thank you for your cooments in advance

    Hello

The issue could be related to software, but also for the hardware problem.
But first, we have to check if it s a software problem.

You are using the original operating system preinstalled by Toshiba. Is this good?
AFAIK the most recent series of laptop is equipped with HARD drive recovery option.
In this case, the Toshiba Recovery DVD has not been delivered with the laptop but there is an option to create a.
HARD drive recovery option can be used to reinstall and update the operating system.
I would recommend to repair the operating system and reinstall it again by pressing the F8 key. The Advanced Startup menu should appear and then you must choose to repair your computer.

This option will start the recovery procedure and the BONES to relocate again.
Please check if a new facility will improve the situation with Notepad.
In addition, it would be desirable to update the BIOS, if a newer version of the BIOS is available on the European driver Toshibas page.

If this suggestion won't help you then whole notebooks material must be check by a local ASP.

  • Movie Maker black screens. AVI after nVidia update

I have been using Windows Live Movie Maker (15.4.3538.0513) for several months with no problems.  I've updated my nVidia drivers last night and now I get a black screen when you import .avi files into Movie Maker.  It worked before.  I did a system restore to the previous version of the video driver and Movie Maker is capable of processing the .avi files.  I also tried to reinstall the codec files, but I am at a loss on where to go next.  Help?

.wmv files seem to be working before and after the upgrade from nVidia, but FRAPS capture .avi files, and I'm not interested in going the extra step to convert - it worked fine before.

Looks like roll back the video driver is the answer. Unless you have
a specific program that requires the view is not necessary to press to update
    anyway.

Now, I see that you use Windows Live Movie Maker and this is why
There is no compatibility tab. I guess I think of Vista Movie Maker 6 when
I see a question of Vista.

FWIW... .avi files can be converted to a lot in most of the converters and
insofar as quality loss... the files will be converted in any case when Live Movie
    Machine saved as WMV.

Vista Movie Maker 6 (better IMHO application) can record in DV - AVI.

The following chart shows where the DV - AVI option.

  • Black screen on startup after installation of the wireless router

I recently installed a Netgear Wireless - G Router (WGR614) on my computer vista HP laptop and since then, I have experienced a few problems. One day my computer was working fine. I stopped it and when I went to leave the next day morning, the screen was black with a bunch of small lines. It would not load anything so I stop and tried again. It's the same thing. I turned on and close my count, and when I opened it upward a few minutes later the screen was beautiful. Then, I have lived the "Blue Screen of death" 3 times. I researched what the problem might be and thought that I might need to update a driver. I went to HP Health Check and there were a couple of updates on a wireless adapter and a card reader, so I installed the updates. I have not experienced the blue screen since then, but I still have problems with the black screen when starting upwards. If I leave the computer open the black screen turns to a white/blue color and nothing loads. But if I close it then after a minute or two everything is. This could be the cause?

    Hello

Start with the wireless router is not the cause of the problems. It is a stand-alone device that simply provides a network connection for your system. Offhand, I would say that you experience a hardware failure, and perhaps the time is simply coincidence. Knowing what was the error message stop can help to indicate where the problem lies, but your description of the problem is quite indicative of a hardware problem. Solve it will probably require involving a technician (contact HP if it is still under warranty).
