my computer crashes probably due to a webcam driver problem.
I have a computer laptop sony vaio with windows 7 installed. its model is VPCEH26EG. operating system is windows 7 Home Basic (64 bit) installed by the factory. It is one and a half that I use this laptop. Since the beginning, I had problem with the driver for the webcam. the webcam has not been recognized sometimes and my computer would crash from time to time. now her webcam works fine, but I guess that his driver problem has not yet been resolved. I hear a noise like that we mean when we use a flash drive in a computer, but I do not use any drive flash or USB in my computer at this momnet. I think it might be due to drivers, driver usb or webcam. in any case, my computer crashes quite often over the past few days and I don't know how to fix it. my life is based on my laptop these days and I have to fix. I have attached the detailed information of the problem. Please help me fix. Thank you

Taskbar crashes often, but everything else works
My sister has a HP with Windows Vista. Recently it started to act up. The taskbard crashes often through all day, but everything that is currently open would continue to operate. When this happens, she must do ctrl + tab to navigate between applications and browser. The only way I know how to unlock the taskbar is by pressing ctrl + alt + delete, then esc. It solves the problem temporarily, but it's really annoying. At first I thought that his computer has been infected by a virus, so I did a complete system restore, but the problem persists. Help, please.
Without guarantees, try this...
Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys together > Task Manager > processes tab > right click on explorer.exe > end process > file > "new task (run...)".
> Type explorer.exe > OKCheck the taskbar again. It's still freezing? For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

There is no error message, making it difficult to diagnose. There are two computers running Vista, fully patched, connected via a network of small size. (Microsoft MSE, no virus, start using activated, etc. "It is clean). When the computer goes to * any * file of the host computer, the host computer crashes immediately. There is no error message, freezing of mice, all hard disk activity stops, it stops absolutely everything. The continuous guest PC works well, it simply notes that the host computer is "not available". Someone saw something like that? I certainly have not. It's far too vague to diagnose.
I looked on the event logs and couldn't find anything saying. I disabled and re-enabled the network shares, etc. Because they are built Lenovo desktop computers, I have a difficult time to do a "repair", but I guess I could give that a shot with some Vista discs. As I understand it, these computers are not often with Vista bootable discs.
It is essential that I can diagnose it. In almost twenty years of THIS I've never seen anything this vague and almost impossible to diagnose.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Is it all the same to make a "full reset" or "Refresh" of networking in Vista? Who could do.
I also note that it is a recent issue, these systems worked very well for a while and it's a change suddenly. Particularly curious because I locked the Windows updates to update only when I say so... and I didn't have lately.
Have you tried to replace the NETWORK card on the computer that crashes? If not, it's what I would do then. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

my computer crashes, I press ctrl alt delete and it thaws, this happens very often, he does not have it for weeks at a time and then it again. I'm a paint shop pro user, I uninstalled and reinstalled psp more 2 browsers, firefox and chrome. My main browser is lunascape which he doesn't seem to be a problem. On chrome when I click on a tab, it closes. I can't copy on firefox. It did not help. Also, when this problem is occurring, I can't drag and drop only cut and paste. This has happened for several months. Someone told me I have a memory leak, but do not know that for you, I was getting ready to reformat with a full system restore and that said person who would not help, but again, I am not sure it is. I ran the antivirus scans, nothing I don't know what to do. I use a dell inspiron 531.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.
Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htmInstallation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods
above is preferred so that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are
found)
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.htmlIf you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.Stop Windows 7 to automatically install device drivers

Hi, you can try it for only bookmarks: first open the bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore and see if you have a backup there.

I did have to pay for firefox because firefox is free. But I buy the full version of downloadhelper path long before my computer crashed. Download helper has a record of my IP address and my name and email, and I remember seeing a key for my purchase when I used to look in the window options. Then they will make me pay for a legitimate downloadhelper version if they have officially that I already bought? That's what I want to know, because I don't have to buy it again.
Re-installing Firefox does not necessarily mean that you will have to re - install Download Helper.
Best is to ask the support of Download Helper on their program.
