    This could be to uninstall because it used entirely from the control panel of Windows 7.  Can anyone help?

    Uninstall what you can the normal way via the Control Panel, and then use the CS cleanup tool.  Then try to reinstall. You might want to try an installation download rather than the disc if it continues to fail.

  • Satellite P100 - 429 A3 off when windows loads

    Heya. It is a serious problem that made my laptop unusable. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is.

    I was in a source game when it happened for the first time, I jumped into the game and the laptop just cut off. No classes stop, he just turned directly to the exit as if someone had held the power button. I looked at him with her for a minute and then turned it back. Everything seems to be going very well, I thought it was just an odd hiccup, but then, after completing the windows loading screen, it does exactly the same thing. Now every time I start, it get past the loading screen and sometimes it get on to the welcome message, was until the cursor is even loaded, it will turn off in the same engineering.

    The only things I've recently changed it is the BIOS (which is my obvious suspicion). I was watching just the page drivers from the Toshiba site and I found a BIOS update for my Notbook cliaming that it has been improved. So I downloaded and installed, once the facility had done his work to restart the laptop, but on all first run Windows bluescreened before he had even loaded. Then, after that, it worked very well so far.

    I also tried to use a Windows disk to perform a recovery of windows. However, the recovery console has done the same thing. In a few seconds initialization, the computer just cut off.

    If anyone has an idea of what is is, please let me know.

    Sorry for the typos, I'm not on a familiar keyboard.

    Thanks again.

    Wolfy

    > I jumped into the game and the laptop just cut off. No classes stop, he just turned directly to the exit as if someone had held the power button.

    Well, this looks like an overheating problem. Fact is that all internal devices run with a full performance during the game. This leads to a temperature inside the laptop. If your fans are not free because of the dust and debris then the laptop will be shouting down to prevent material damage.
    In this case the fan cleaning is necessary and desirable.
    I had a similar problem on my laptop and solved using a jet of compressed air!

    To my knowledge the P100-429 Sat belongs to the series of PSPA3.
    You should really be 100% sure that you are using the good BIOS.

    However, it is also possible that the laptops hardware is malfunctioning.
    In this case, the verification of the material is necessary. This test can be done by a service provider authorized in your country.

    Good luck

  • Computer crashed during a windows XP update

    I was trying to trouble shoot a problem with a computer that would crash intermittently from time to time.  Put 3 downloaded system update for installation.  I put out of service and some updates to try to make sure I had the latest files.  When installing on 3/3, the system crashed again!  I knew it wasn't good.  I was not able to restart the system.  When I boot it comes up with the windows logo and progress bar, then it stops with a blue screen and the following message.

    Stop: c000021a {fatal system error} the System Manager system initialization process ended unexpectedly with the State 0xc000026c (0x00000000 0x00000000).  The system has been shut down.

    Is there anyway I can recover from this situation.

    I tried to boot from the start with F8 menu.  I chose restore to the last known good state, but not luck.  Are there any other suggestions out there.  XP was preinstalled on the Dell computer.  I is not a MS installation disc, but have the Dell restore disc.  I resisted using it because I think he goes back to the initial state of the computer and I will rebuild the system from scratch.  Inplace installation is a good solution or it just will make worse?  Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you. -Nat

    Hi, I recently got a computer and I just realized that whenever I turn it on after a long period of time (eteindre turn off during the night, turn it on morning) my computer freezes at windows startup screen. Sometimes a blue error screen appears and after reading it, I would say that a material is not installed correctly. Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
  • Mode problem, freezes or crashes sleep when windows opens again
    Hello
    The problem I have with the pavilion DV4-2145DX , approximately 12 months, using windows 7 is when I close the lid or put in "standby mode", now and then the window opens but the internet does not, nor all the other icons.
    When I go to restart it, the closure does not work so I stop hard.
    When it restarts all works well again.
    When I shut down normally and re start the computer no problem at that time.
    Any ideas please.
    Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
    just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
    The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.
    At the end of this message, I'll post a bluescreen generic and in the next convenience store
    How do to update the drivers and BIOS but also to check memory message.
    -----------------------------------
    BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A
    Cause
    This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.
    The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.
    If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.
    Solve the problem
    If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.
    To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS
    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
    3. In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.
    To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool
    1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
    2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
    3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
    4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
    5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
    6. For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.
    If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    Comments
    Before upgrading to a new version of Windows, remove all third-party device drivers and system services and disable any antivirus. Contact software manufacturers for updates of these third-party tools.
