  I recently installed a new version of Adobe creative suite 4, just like a trial non-registered, but I found that my computer could not manage the programs and began to plant any time, I tried to create a pdf file.

  So I uninstalled only on the part of the package, Acrobat, hoping that I would still be able to use my old 5 from Adobe as a Pdf from Autodesk CAD.

  The easiest way is to simply do a repair (Control Panel > Add Remove programs...). For AA5, it will probably appear to change and delete. Select change and you should be able to fix things. If this does not work, then uninstall, delete the folder Acrobat 5 and use the MS. cleanup tool Then, restart and install. Acrobat and Reader are such that if you install several versions, uninstallation of no matter what will most likely break all others - exactly your problem.   This has also been enlarged but came with an alternative mounting plate.

  There is a free space above so I was able to move my antenna wi - fi so far and release the slot for pci express to the new card usb3 so I was even able to keep my embedded wireless and bluetooth. What a result!

• PowerEdge 840: USB keyboard and mouse not working not.

  Hello everyone.

  Yesterday, I pursached a used Dell Poweredge 840 to function as a backup server, I'm having a few problems with it but I can't understand.

  I installed the server with Windows Server 2003 x 86 edition and downloaded the drivers on the Dell site. It works perfectly, except for one problem:

  USB keyboards and mouse refuse to work.

  PS/2 works fine however, but any USB keyboard or mouse will not work.

  Flash USB drives read very well, therefore I used to recover some files on the machine before, but it was connected to the network, USB keyboard and mouse do not work.

  They are not recognized at startup and do not allow to enter the setup of the BIOS after Windows has started, that they are not always recognized. Windows displays the device as unknown device.

  I tried to boot from a live CD of 14.04 Lubuntu, in which the USB keyboard and mouse do not work either. Only PS/2 wants to work.

  I have tried different types of USB mouse:

  • Microsoft mouse
  • Acer OEM mouse
  • Mouse laser Logitech M-U0007

  None of them could work, although they work fine on my laptop, the main file server which is a model of HP and Dell Optiplex desktop computer.

  I tried a few different USB keyboards as well, but they refuse to work.

  I ended up borrowing a pair of keyboard and mouse PS/2 to configure the server, but I want it to work with my USB keyboard and mouse.

  Just for the record: the USB flash drives do not work very well, it's just the keyboard and mouse is not working.

  Anyone know how I can get there?

  Hello.

  Unplug all devices connected to the USB and PS/2 ports. Unplug the AC power cable, wait about 1 minute and then press in and hold the button for about 15 seconds. Reconnect the power and power on the server. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the USB ports and try again.

  USB keyboard/mouse can be disconnected without using the icon "remove."  In fact, I would be shocked if they were still on the list safely remove at all.

  But to answer your first question, which depends on whether you want to keep pilots autour for future use.  If this is not the case, go ahead and uninstall the device before unplugging.

  It will be different depending on the manufacturer of the computer that you have. Go to the control panel and go to the mouse option. On some computers, there is a tab for the Touchpad and you can turn it off from there.

  What are the two! brand? You can post a screenshot in the forum...

  If you have a composite USB drive listed in Device Manager... I suggest you uninstall from Device Manager and choose search for the hardware changes...

  Step 2 - connect the USB, reboot and press F12 on dell logo, check if the PC detects the drive cruzer...

  Also check if the LED on the drive flashes once you connect... How about other USB ports?

  Step 3: Does show in disk management (right click on computer > Manage > disk management)-it appears in disk management, just assign a drive letter. Right-click on the cruzer drive - drive letter--> Add--> choose a drive letter... OK OK... Check if you can see the drive in my computer...

  Step 4: If none of the USB ports work...

  Have you noticed yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager next to USB host controllers?
  Check it!

  Even if the yellow exclamation points are not visible in the Device Manager I recommend to remove the USB host controllers and root device manager USB hubs and restart the laptop again.
  Wait that all USB controllers will be recognized by Windows and retest your external USB devices.
