My computer is very slow. I tried everything and bought a tune-up, but it it a little relieved.

I went to the site of Mircosoft and he gave me an analysis of updated drivers and that being said, I had 9 out-of-date drivers. As I am not very computer would it be a good thing to buy this and update drivers. Would it fold my speed and performance?

Hello

Many development programs are really a waste of time and money and can cause problems.

These methods to try to resolve the problems and methods of the driver manual update are below. Update a driver
It's like install a program after you determine which driver you need. It is actually very easy.

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this
machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause strange problems).

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones

    Hello Jleester,

The warning of error IO error can be caused by a defective hardware:

Windows Windows (5352): an application to write to the file "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\Windows.edb" at offset 70025216 (0x00000000042c8000) to 32768 bytes (0 x 00008000) succeeded, but took an abnormally long time (91 seconds) is served by the operating system. I would check with the manufacturer of your computer to see if there is diagnostic tests that can be run on your hardware.

I also see that Steam.exe is not release handles to your user profile, then I would say you uninstall Steam and reinstall. Event id 1530 is just stating they were unloading the application, steam.exe. This type of errors can cause your user profile is damaged.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Download of El Capitan post - my computer is very slow. Help.

    I have a Mac Mini mid 2011

    2.3 Ghz

    8Gb

    Recently, I downloaded El Capitan...

Now my computer is very slow - trudging-

Have seen several Beach - unprecedented balls - in my life.

Have been read the tips of Apple Support Mess - you are looking for a simple solution.

I have baby steps and delete cookies... organized files and photos...

    Nothing helps.

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is particularly bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages

in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Please do not post screenshots of log messages - text poster.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the forum software. Thanks for posting the text on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

If you have an account on Pastebin, please do not select private in exposure menu to paste on the page, because no one else that you will be able to see it.

System Restore to go back before the show.

I suggest you to install the updates one by one and reboot the computer after installing each update to verify that update is causing the problem.

Also note the updates that you install on the computer.

Once you come to know what update is causing the problem, let us know.

Do not install any driver updates offered by Windows Update. Find them in the manufacturer's website instead.

My computer is very slow.  A friend said that I can speed up restore factory settings. How can I do this?

5 ways to speed up your computer
    http://www.Microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspx

This article explains how to use the tools available in Windows 7, Vista and XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to more effectively maintain your computer and protect your privacy when you're online.

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by a third-party software
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827315

How to restore your computer settings certainly depend on what brand of computer you use. You must contact the manufacturer or your computer's manual should give you guidance on how to use your disks restore provided with your computer or the hidden partition.

Please note that means restoring the computer to the factory settings, restore the computer to the State that you have first obtained it in. You would lose your programs that you have installed, your data, etc etc. It would be like a new installation.

    Consider other options first.

  • message is low virtual memory. Computer is very slow. HELP, please.

message says lack of virtual memory.

    Computer is very slow

    Hi NorrisCecil,

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         You did it all changes before the show?

If you receive warnings that virtual memory is low, you need to increase the minimum size of your pagefile. Windows sets the initial minimum size of the paging file to the RAM memory (RAM) installed on your computer plus 300 megabytes (MB) and maximum size of 3 times the amount of RAM installed on your computer.

If you see warnings at these recommended levels, and then increase the minimum and maximum sizes.

    a. click Start, right click my computerand then click Properties.

    b. in the System Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.

    (c) in the results pane, click settings.

    d. in the Performance Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.

    e. in the virtual memory section, click change.

    f. change the value of initial size and maximum size to a higher value value, click the value, and then click OK.

    g. click OK to close the Performance Options dialog box and then click OK to close the System Properties dialog box.
