My Compaq Presario F500 uses the Microsoft Vista operating system. I tried to install the trial version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. The installation failed and began to 'undo changes' after that that we discovered the previous versions of the trial had been detected. During the uninstall or process "cancel changes", I unplugged my laptop. It was powered by the adapter, no battery. Now, when I start my computer, it goes to Windows Recovery screen. Once I selected "Boot mode safe" or any other option, including the BIOS screen, it goes straight to a black screen and stops. My computer was purchased with Windows Vista preloaded. Any ideas on what is causing the black screen does not? My files on this computer has not been saved. Independent repairers are load and arms and legs. Y at - it an easy solution to this problem that I was able to help out so that my laptop will boot and go to my Windows screen and normal office?

Hello
I installed vista Ultimate edition with service pack one and installed all necessary updates. now when I want to log on to hotmail it tips download me IE 8, but when I try to install it it gives me a message that IE 8 is not supported on this version of windows.
Wat should I do to install IE8 on vista ultimate SP! 32-bit computer.
Thank you
Johan
System requirements say IE8 should work with SP1 is installed. Maybe it's because SP1 support ends July 12, 2011 and IE8 can not download without installation of the Service Pack 2 for Vista
End of support for Vista with SP2 does not end until April 11, 2017.

So I have the product key... now what? Where can I get the key?
Product key Office cards are generally good to install Office on a single computer. If you already use the key to install on another computer, you must first uninstall it from the 1st computer before installing the other computer.

I use Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate Edition
When I try to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, 2013, 2012, I get an error 'Failed to install', error Code 0 x 80070005 - access denied
Then I looked on this Forum-https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/astebner/2006/09/04/solving-setup-errors-by-using-the-subinacl-tool-to-repair-file-and-registry-permissions/
I downloaded the 'Subinacl' tool and installed on the default path.
I followed all the steps, step 8, "he says in the cmd prompt, type reset.cmd and press ENTER to run the SubInACL tool."
Then I type reset.cmd in command prompt... it shows an error
"Did not find file C:\Program Files
\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\subinacl.exe. Recheck Subinacl is correctly installed and re - run this script. Then I checked in the Explorer, the folder is there and the subinacl.exe is also in the tools folder, but why cmd does not detect it?
Help, please!
Hello
Just to confirm, did you run the reset.cmd as administrator? Otherwise, make sure you do by right-clicking on the reset.cmd and clicking "Run as Administrator".
Try to follow these steps to confirm that guest check the correct folder (again, the subinacl.exe should be in the folder "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Resource Kits\Tools\"):
- Open command prompt
- Copy and paste the following commands at the command prompt:
- set ProgramFilesPath = % ProgramFiles (x 86) %
- CD "%ProgramFilesPath%\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\"
- dir
The last command will show you the files in the folder "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Resource Kits\Tools\. Try to check the list if you see subinacl.exe.
If you can see subinacl.exe on the list, then we will modify the code for your reset.cmd and circumventing the conditional statement to check if the file exists.
As noted above, he must remove the part inside the red zone of your reset.cmd. Then, replace it with the line "goto filesExist" in order to bypass the file check (as we have already manually verified the existence of the said folder).
It should instead look like this:
Try to run her updated the reset.cmd and see if it works. If ever you still encounter an error when executing the command, then I suggest to post your query in our TechNet forums for technical support advanced about your concern.
Thank you.

The notification indicates if I have access to the internet, Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 will be activated automatically, but the problem is it does not and I always get the notice for about 2-3 months now. How can I solve this problem? (error code: 0x8007007B)
Is this a copy of Office Professional Plus 2010 volume license? If so, need KMS activation. That means that guests are connected to the corporate network to enable it.
