NVIDIA Windows 7 Displey 186.44 Compantible driver version

Google Talk

  • Blocked startup program? Application of UpdateUtil?

well, ive google search and found next to nothing.

IM especially try to find what is this program.

    "Application UpdateUtil".

the name of the file is "netfxupdate.exe.

He said that the manufacturer is "microsoft", that I find it odd, given that all other microsoft programs in the system configuration menu have "microsoft corporation", as the manufacturer.

I can't find any definitive info on this program.

Ive read some comments saying its malware, ive read some telling her for the .net framework. but no official answer as to what it is.

so...  Can anyone of you thin of the folks at microsoft help me and tell me what it is and give me some clean and valid information on this subject?

    Hello

Netfxupdate.exe is a file associated with Microsoft .net framework.
You can allow the program to run on the computer.

User account control prevents programs that require permission or an administrator password from running automatically when Windows starts. If a program is blocked, you will see a message in the notification area that says that some startup need permission to run programs. You can run a blocked program, remove blocked startup programs or ignore the notification.

    To run a blocked program

1 blocked startup programs right click on the icon in the notification area.
    2. click on run blocked program, and then click the name of the program to run. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To remove a blocked program from startup

You can remove a blocked program from startup so that it tries to run automatically whenever you start Windows. Removal of the startup program does not remove the program from your computer.

1 right-click on the icon Start blocked in the notification area programs .
    2. click Show or Remove blocked startup programs.

  • Windows Defender - blocked startup programs

Over the past two days, whenever I connect, windows defender appears and says it blocked a commissioning program. So I open windows defender and choose "show or remove blocked startup programs" I assume that the program that is blocked is showing on the screen. How can I remove the locked channel? Remove, disable and enable buttons are gray. I don't want to run it in case it is an infected file. The file is Digital Line Detection by Avanquest Software.

    Thank you.

Here is some information about dlg.exe; http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/dlg.  Here's more information:http://forums.avanquestusa.com/aq/archive/index.php/t-4477.html.  As you can see, the creators of this program are known to have made Spyware in the past and that is probably why it is blocked.

How did you get this program and why do you have this program?  It seems to me that it does not offer much that you can't with programs that cause fewer problems (if necessary at all).  I checked the site web avanquest and this program is not listed: http://www.avanquest.com/.  I also checked Phone Tools of BVRP (whose dlg.exe is supposed to be a part of):http://download.cnet.com/BVRP-Mobile-Phone-Tools/3000-2349_4-93370.html , but that seemed for mobile phones and brought him back to avanquest.  I could not find any information on the product (in addition, Tools of BVRP Phone does not list itself as compatible with Vista).

If I were you, I would delete/uninstall this program.  It's not like you use (it is blocked) and you don't mention the functions you can perform you want to run, because he's not here.  Go to start / Control Panel / programs and features and see if you can find it under the names above, then right click on it and click on uninstall.

If it does not appear, go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Search of dlg.exe or whatever it is, on one names program or product mentioned above, and when you find it uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart. Since it is no longer from the start, he should no longer need to be blocked, and I hope that will remove the message.  I would prefer if we could uninstall the program, but if it is not found, then we will have to be satisfied to prevent him from running.

This will be the no Defender removes (except if it is uninstalled) and I can't explain why the buttons are grayed (are you logged on as administrator?).  But I think that the process described above may solve the problem.  If the message still appears, then I suggest you contact Support technique Avanquesthttp://kb.avanquestusa.com/display/4/search.aspx?tab=search and ask them how to remove it and why it causes so many problems.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

The message means there is a bad path value (probably is something that must be enclosed in quotation marks). The problem is finding * that * one is bad. Try this way:

Click Start, and type Windows Defender, and then the . Click on tools, and then click Software Explorer. It opens for you? (this is the same list that you get from the control panel). If this is not the case, how it fails? • my computer wants to open all my programs via the adobe reader software does not open

yesterday while trying to open a file, I was offered to open it with adobe, it didn't open, but now he's trying to open all my installeed with adobe programs how can I stop this?

yesterday while trying to open a file, I was offered to open it with adobe, it didn't open, but now he's trying to open all my installeed with adobe programs how can I stop this?

I've seen this happen when opening a program via a shortcut (for example. LNK file), you are asked what type of program to open it with. After selecting Adobe Reader or Acrobat (or another program) via the Select a program from a list of programs installedand check always use the selected program to open this type of file, the program referenced by the shortcut of origin or document opens in Adobe as it should.

The problem is that now all shortcuts (for example. LNK files) on the desktop or in the browser will want to use the Adobe Reader to view the shortcut no matter what shortcut was initially intended to open and be opened by Adobe Reader. This is known as a file association and the default icon. The same condition can occur if you have performed these actions 'Open with' on one. JPG or even a. EXE, but the. LNK explanation is much more likely for the items on the desktop.

The good news is that a small free utility was written to cancel the. LNK file association was created. There is also a registry hack to achieve, but I recommend the utility unASSOC for its ease of use.

You can get a copy of my SkyDrive here. I used to send people elsewhere to download a copy, but this page is more confusion with misleading ads to download this and that.

Just download and then run the utility to unassociate the. LNK files. Select. LNK in the list on the left and click on remove the associated file (user) or remove the file type , and then restart the computer.

    Delete File Types utility associations

  • After my computer starts, before that I can log in, the system restarts again. This continues to repeat in a row.

I have Microsoft XP Professional. My computer is Dell. The new thing is happening now, as when I start the system, it starts normally. Then I go my usual login and password to enter. But before that I can do this, the system restarts again. This goes into endless reboot cycles. I don't know what is happening.

This is usually caused by a bad deletion of malware on your computer.  Somehow, you have to boot from a CD that allows you to change the file system or the registry files.

The following link shows how this can be fixed by starting with a BartPE disk (go to paragraph "registry value incorrect that prevents you to log on to your user account in Windows XP?")
I find this freeware Hirens Boot CD is easier to create and can be used to follow the same steps.

    reiffsm,
Here are a few things to try everything first.

1 disconnect all external devices (printers, USB hubs, USB keys, etc.) and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Demarrer start in SafeMode with command prompt, and then run the following commands.

    Chkdsk /r

    Hello Joeamt, welcome.

I would recommend that you check with the Web site of the manufacturer of your PC for an update on your firmware of the CD/DVD drive. If you are unable to find a download for it, to communicate with their support, and they should be able to get you going.

If that does not resolve your problem, I would like to contact us, come back here and we will help you.
