  • Windows Explorer crashes every 2 Minutes like clockwork

    Hello

A quick Google search, it seems a lot of people have this problem, but with a few differences.
My problem is that for these last two days, Windows Explorer has started crashing, almost like clockwork, almost every 2 minutes or more (as confirmed its reliability). I tried everything I know to find the problem, but came to nothing.
    Here are my specs:
    Windows 7 Professional 32-bit
    Intel Core 2 Duo PC TG5750 @ 2.00GHZ
    RAM: 2.0 GB
I tried to run Windows Update to see if that would help, but it's not download anything. It just happens to 0KB and 0% and nothing happens. Naturally, when Windows Explorer hangs, it must update Windows with it.
I ran a few system cleared my startup speed performance, but nothing else. He does not come back on other potential failures.
I looked at doing a system restore, but it says that there is no restore point. I created one, but this is obviously useless as the restore point is now in the scenario where Windows Explorer crashes.
I can still run programs like Outlook or Google Chrome, but Windows Explorer plant, yet no matter what I do. I have installed all the programs in the last two days so I'm really at a loss as to what is happening.
I also restarted my computer several times, to no effect.
Other that completely re install Windows using the installation disc, I don't know.

You can open the Action Center under the taskbar > maintenance > view reliability history > view all reported issues

You can right click on some of the mistakes "Stopped working" "Windows Explorer" > view technical details

What are the details of the errors?

  • Every game I play works very well for a few minutes, then they lag a few minutes like clockwork. I ran each scan I can think and I can't find anything.

original title: issues of computer game.

Every game I play works very well for a few minutes, then they lag a few minutes like clockwork. I ran each scan I can think and I can't find anything. What I can do, how can I fix?

Assuming that your PC meets the requirements of the games you try and works well when in Windows (not), then try this.

    1. Start the Task Manager goto the tab, click "Show processes from all users".
    2. Run the game in a maximized window, see if the game lags then.
    3. If so, go to the Task Manager and check the CPU usage and the memory usage by clicking on their respective column headers to get as high in the upper part. Is anything hogging resources?
    4. Double control by checking the graphics CPU and memory on the tab.

    or

Try to run a scan with Malwarebytes - just in case. Download, install, update (right click and run as Admin to update) and then run a full SCAN. It can't find anything either, but it does not take long and helps eliminate the possibility of malicious programs.

    Hello

Check if the screen saver is on and also check the settings by following the steps below and check if it helps:

    (a) right click on the desktop and select Personalize.

    (b) on the new screen click on screen saver and make sure that "on the CV, the logon screen" is not checked.

  • Why am I be 'locked' every few minutes?

during the last two days became a situation where my computer 'blocks' every few minutes.  I'm invited to my password.  When administered, I returned at once where I was.  It's very disruptive and irritating.

    Just a suggestion:

    Temporarily disable your antivirus software.
Then see if the problem persists. |
If the problem passed, maybe time to move to something less intrusive than programs such as Norton and McAfee.

  • computer goes into sleep mode every 5 minutes

My computer goes to sleep every 5 minutes in standby mode and needs to get back to where I left my password. I tried to change the power options, but he keeps doing. If I'm watching a video, the screen turns off and ask for my password, but you can still video game.

    Hello

Open windows control panel, open personalization, click on the link to screensaver at the bottom right and in the next window, set the time in the area of 'Wait' for once you want before the screen saver appears, and click on apply. Or if you never get the logon screen, remove the check mark next to of "on resume, display the login page»  Click on apply to save the changes.

Then open windows control panel again and click on Power Options, click Change plan settings next to your current power plan selected in the next window, set the time using the drop-down list next to "Turn wide Display" to a more acceptable level and then click on save changes.

Note:  Set in the Options menu of food to be slightly longer than the time set in the Menu of the screen saver or you will never see your screen saver start.

    Kind regards

I have problems since I changed my computer from vista to windows7... Sites game requiring shockwave remains... I get knocked off line every few minutes... Why? How can I stop this?

    Hot4Lefteris,
The first thing I would say (if you have not already done) is to ensure that you have the latest version of Shockwave installed.  If you have still a problem, I would like to run IE without Add-ons and then put only the module Shockwave Player and the test.  Also, follow the other steps listed here and post back with the results.

  • Blue screen and the computer goes into a reboot loop after every 15 minutes

    Original title: fix blue screen

Computer stops automatically at almost every 15 minutes apart, the blue screen appears and is long enough to read the information to fix this.  Computer automatically restarts.

    Hi Lady Cole,.

    a. when the issue occurred?

    b. remember to make changes to your computer before the problem?

    Step 1:

To disable the automatic restart in case of system error, follow these steps:

    a. restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

    b. Select disables automatic system failure reboot when the Windows Advanced Options menu is displayed and press ENTER.

When a problem causes a blue screen of death or another major error that stops the system, the computer restarts automatically. Need to restart manually, and you would be able to note the error message and after return.

A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Step 2:

Start your machine in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Step 3:

If the problem does not occur in safe mode, I would like you to put your machine in a clean boot State in order to determine whether the problem is caused by a conflict of third party software. Clean boot helps eliminate the conflict of third party software.

Note : do not forget to restart your machine as usual.

  • My computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode

Original title: Windows Update does not work on security with networking mode

Hi, if my computer has been doing the BlueScreen thing where it stops every 5 minutes when I go to normal mode. So I go on security with networking mode and I went to problem and solutions and all this stuff, and the Web site that came to help me solve the blue screen was told to go to "All programs" and then go into "Windows Update". but the problem with that is does not work! My cursor will give me the circle of loading bit for a few seconds and that's it! And don't tell me to go to because every time startup repair I have try that he asks me "User" and I tried everything and nothing will work! :/ And apparently, it's a driver problem, not a hardware problem, because I already removed and put in the back of my equipment. Then Yes.

    Thanks for your help! :)

Windows Update does not [Safe] mode with network

Yes, that's correct. You can not run manually check updates in Mode safe mode with networking since the necessary Services are not running.

  • biometric: How can I adjust the setting on my computer so I don't have to drag my finger every three minutes?

How can I adjust the setting on my computer so I don't have to drag my finger every three minutes?  When I walk away from my computer for more than 3 minutes... I have to re-do move my finger.

If you mean every 3 minutes you get disconnected so your finger is to open a session back, right click on the desktop, select Personalize downstairs, and then in the new window click on screen saver or turn it off or set the number of minutes and make sure "on Resume, display logon" is NOT selected. If it happens again every 3 minutes, return to customize, select this time power options and change the time it takes for the screen to be able to something higher.

  • My computer 'mysteriously' randomly stalls every few minutes

It is a fact. There are some 'ghosts' that nobody seems to know how to fight in Windows. Engineer, in 40 years, and as such, I've seen a few. My computer 'mysteriously' stops randomly every few minutes. Meters show the RAM and CPU have more than enough resources, when the stalls occur. Temperature OK. Does anyone how "ghostbust" (in practice, directly to the solution, no speculation, please) my computer? Thank you, Julian, julianort, gmail.

    [Original title: stall]

You can open Event Viewer and review the events and see if there is no event suspicious or something related to this issue. When this happens open Task Manager and into resources. You can also look in the resource monitor and see what is happening in your system.

  • Because getting an email that recurs every 5 minutes, we were not able to get the new email, even from block the bad email.

An email was sent to our account from an iPhone; the e-mail contained two photos. For the next two days, that E-mail reproduces itself in our Inbox (with the same time/date) more than two hundred times... like every 8 minutes. I have blocked using the object, and those still in the Inbox disappeared. (We were constantly moving them to the trash). A computer guru suggested I unlock now, and he has not returned. However, because the e-mail arrived Wednesday morning we have not been able to get new emails. They appear on in Yahoo email, but nothing will come by Thunderbird. (Get new emails seems to be "stuck"). Our Norton account has done many tests, and that did not help. Can someone help us get our email back to normal? Moreover, the same email/photos were sent to two other people of the same phone I, and they had no problem at all with him.
