My computer Windows 7 keeps closing
My computer running Windows 7 keeps stop. This often happens when I'm running Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, but it happened when I'm running iTunes or browsing records. It also stops almost always when I am trying to run a performance check. Is not itself off during the night, but only when actively using the computer and I'm typing, the mouse, watching a video, etc. It works fine in Safe Mode (for as long as the Safe Mode allows). I tried already reinstalled windows 7 twice, execution of security-antivirus-software malicious controls such as Microsoft Security Essentials, running the disk cleanup program and disconnect the external memory drive and the wireless mouse, in the case where there is an incompatibility problem causing my computer close.

Windows 7 keeps closing my computer after 1 min of inactivity
Symptoms: The lock screen appears after 1 minute of inactivity.
Details: The computer is a laptop ASUS U46E under Windows 7 Home Premium. Screensaver increased wait to 999 minutes and unchecked "on Resume, protect by password". Past delays on power settings and the settings advanced. After all this, I have to restart to stop the annoying locking of computer. But after that I closed the lid of the laptop, which will put computer to sleep/hibernate, and then open it again, the question is always no matter what timeout settings. I tried to uninstall the Power4Gear, delivered power management software w / ASUS laptop and used Windows built in the balanced power plan. It's really boring while watching a DVD. I tried everything I could find on the internet without success. Any help is appreciated.Hello
Did you go to options advanced power and on the left hand bar there is a link that says, I can choose the closing the cover. Then you look down windows and in the gray area, there are a few options and one that must be marked States request password on awake. Click on the link that says I would like to change the options and change. That should do it. -

Our Windows 7 keeps closing down.
We had ongoing problems with our computor over the last 3mths. My son re-installed Windows 7, but still the everymorning when we turn it on, it starts and then closes down. We often receive messages stating that Windows Explorer has stopped working, or that it cannot display the Web page. A PC Doctor run anti-virus programs, but nothing obvious has turned up. He suggests that reinstall us Windows 7 once more. Someone had this problem?
I should mention that the Pc Doctor has found a hardware problem - the fan above the PCU was consistent with the open air and had been like this for 2 months. Computor then was actually turn on and outside, until he fixed it. It is at first sight that perhaps the UCP have been damaged.
Get the BIOS varies from a system, generally, you press F1, F2 or deleting key during what is known as the POST or Power On Self Test, when you turn on your computer. Most systems will tell you what button to press during this process.
After that, it's just a case of navigation in the menu to the system BIOS screen to find what is usually called a hardware monitor. This will then show you the temperature of your processor and, eventually, the card mother too.
Would be what a safe temperature depends on what CPU you have. However, anything more than 65 ° C would be considered too hot, especially when sitting idle in the BIOS.
If Windows displays a blue screen error, it would be useful that you could tell us what the error message says.
Thank you.

Explorer.exe windows folder keep closing on Alienware X 51 R2 Windows 8.1
Hello
My problem is quite simple, but also quite a headache so let me give you a situation of portrait in the simplest of ways:
Say I open a folder in Explorer windows, the number of files currently opened is not serious it can go from 1 to 15 and still give me the same problem.
If the folder is open right? I can go and do other things, things... like browsing the net or watch a video. But all of a sudden the closed folder then actually do anything about explorer.exe closes so if I myself copy/move files that would repeal as well. Its as if explorer.exe decides to randomly restart.
Activities that I do that would trigger such an array of thing of the web browsing on any browser, to the modification of files, simply watching a video, even if a file is opened. Sometimes I think that it still can't do something in particular.
This question is a big headache and I had this happen with the default software supplied in the Windows 8.1
My Info:
PC: Alienware X 51 R2
OS: Windows 8.1
GPU: Nvidia GTX 670 & Intel HD 4600
CPU: i7 4 core 3.4ghz
RAM: 8 GB
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
Please Note: I don't seem to have this problem on Windows 8, I also had installed Windows 7 on the same pc and have not encountered this problem so, maybe something is not especially nice with windows 8.1.
Hello
Sorry for taking so long to update this case, I ended up solving this problem, so I'm writing this on a case where someone else has.
I downloaded a utility called SFCFix from this page:
www.SevenForums.com/.../325168-System-corruption-SFC-Scan-Won-t-fix-them-all-logs-provided-2.html
the normal SFC scan could not solve my problem, but this one did. Nevertheless thank you for your help and time of Naomi!

Ideas:
- You have problems with programs
- Error messages

Not much information to go. Most often the laptop just cut because they are overheating, even if other hardware components can be at fault. There is no way to give you a more accurate diagnosis based on what you wrote.
