  Looks like you are applying (accidentally) a "Preset" for these photos. Make sure that there is no preselection specified in the import dialog box, and the first (bottom) in the history of develop does not list a preset.

  The bad export quality could be linked to the pre-selection of PFD you have chosen. Some of the presets are designed to re - sample images to make a smaller final PDF

  Ah, the plot thickens... This has to do with the display of the label next to the buttons of the tool on a Mac. You can disable these labels by doing a right-click (or Ctrl-click) on all buttons in the tool and then unchecking 'Display all the labels'. The text properties bar will appear in the Acrobat window. Under Windows, it seems that the function 'Display all the labels' completely hides the text properties bar.

  Then, turn off the labels, and you should see the bar in an easy to reach position.

• Base station disappeared after creating the guest network

  After you activate a burst network 2 things happened:

Help!  I also tried to change the program that opens files, but went wrong, and now all files are associated with windows internet explorer 8. I have no idea how I did all this and come back to this computer from the place of the computer because the old hard drive died on me and they put in another. It was working fine until I felt the need to clear up disk space and delete some old programs. I'm sure I messed up and deleted a file that was necessary to open others. I don't have the XP disk to try a fix and nothing in the pages of microsoft download will run. Oh please I don't want to take that back to the computer type that will charge me an arm and a leg. I just made him pay $ 200 last week. Any help will be great.

• Solution to remove the message from the installer

  I downloaded the drivers from the HP website for my B209a Photosmart more that the printer no longer works.  I now have the HP message that says to uninstall because the installation was not successful.   My firewall allowed me to stop it install but I can't stop the HP Installer set up the message as if I say yes, she quits and restarts the computer each time.  I managed to get the printer to work, but that message won't go away.
