    Hi Joyfnp,

O the date system is not accurate?

O since when are you facing this problem?

O recent changes made on your computer?

In the meantime, you can start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

  • My asus computer continues to change time and date

My ASUS U50F/Windows 7, 64 bit version continues to change time and date. Sometimes he changes a day, sometimes is two or more days to come, but after a few months, it resets the date back to 2009. It seems that a lot of people have the same problem as me. Some suggest it is the BIOS battery, but that's not the problem. I got my computer some time in 2010, and well enough it has been the same since.

Sometimes, the problem is more common, and sometimes it goes on for a few months without at all what's happening.

Any input will be greatly appreciated, but please don't say I need to change the BIOS battery, cause it is not the problem.

  • my computer continues to change the date and time

my computer continues to change the date and time even after I set it correctly. I am running windows 7 Professional. Thank you

    Hello

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         Did you the latest changes on the computer before this problem?

    Method 1:

The date and time in the BIOS settings may be incorrect.

Important: Change BIOS (Basic input output system) /(CMOS) complementary metal oxide semiconductor

Settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    You can see this:

I suggest you replace the CMOS battery. If you are not comfortable with that, then I suggest you to contact the manufacturer for assistance.

  • I have a PC with Windows 7 Professional and Adobe Reader.  Adobe continued auto changing all the dates in a PDF document.  Help!

I am doing an interactive PDF for an insurance company.  The form has several dates that should be filled, as my DOB, date of the training and the date of the current medical certificate.  If I enter data in one of the date fields, it automatically changes all dates.  Of course, these dates are all different, but it does not make them different.  This happens also for address fields.  I have to be able to enter my home address and the address where I completed my training.  I went to: Edition-Preferences-Form and not the box 'automatically calculate field values' and 'AutoComplete' off.  Changing always automatically all similar fields with the same data!  Help, please!

It occurs because the form designer has done a terrible job in this area and just copy & pasted fields, which means that they are identical copies of each other. You can not do something to prevent that from happening. Report the problem to the insurance company. They have to sort on their end.

  • Firefox continues to change the url that I entered

I've updated a Web site. When I paste the url in Firefox it keeps changing and display a different page.

The one I want is http://megalithmovers.org/blog-2015-10-24.htm
Firefox continues to change it to http://megalithmovers.org/blog-2015-01-24.htm
The two pages are valid (they have the date in the url as YYYY-MM-DD)
I know that the url is valid, that I stuck in other browsers. Somewhere FF has cached the page in January. Being too smart for that is good, it's settled I've mistyped the url and displays this page, not the one October.
I deleted all the history of this site, but that makes no difference.

Please don't tell me to restore the FF default settings - I'll have to re - install all Addons then.

  • Windows continues to change user profile folder

    Hi all

I'm facing a real headache. My computer continues to change user profiles folder every restart 2 or 3. For example, my user name is MSF\Bob. The user profile folder has been C:\Document & Settings\Bob. After a restart, Windows create a C:\Document & Settings\Bob.MSF then Bob.MSF.000 and Bob.MSF.001 folder and so on.

Someone has an idea why this is happening and how I can prevent this?

I thank very you much in advance!

    Best regards

Easy question to answer.  You simply have a corrupted profile.

When Windows detects a corrupted profile, it automatically generates a temporary with names profile as you describe.  Usually, these profiles are deleted when you connect your computer turned off, but not always.  The solution is quite simple.  You just need to recover your corrupt profile.   There are two general approaches.  One is to do a system restore to a point in time before the profile was first damaged.  The other usually involves the creation of a new user and moving profile data on to the new user (you may reset some of your settings).  To do this, choose one of the following articles and follow through:

PS: Corrupt profiles are almost always accompanied by alteration of the disc as well.  After your recovery, perform a check disk (chkdsk) with the "/ R" or "/ F" option

  • In XP, zone continues to change TSA to CUT

The zone continues to change the time in coordinated universal time. If I try to sync with time.windows.com the I get a message that an error has occurred (not specific). The computer is connected to the internet via a d-link router, but I don't think that is the problem because the other computers on the network are OK and I get the MS updates on this machine OK.

I tried a fix and tried to restore to an earlier point... nothing works.  Is there another setting of time other than through the control panel that could be the substitution of my settings?

I think that there is a problen with my this machine to connect to microsoft because I also have trouble updateing security essentials... get a connection failure error message.

  • Why my computer date and time keep changing to 01/01/2003

I change the date and time of my lap top, according to the laptop for a while and turn on the date and time continue to change to 01/01/2003. I have not so much time to change, but... his problem keeps up to date of the.

Looks like your laptop CMOS battery needs to be replaced.  It is not the same battery that powers your laptop.  It is usually a battery of lithium-manganese dioxide of small coin shaped that resemble the shows big battery.  You should consult your instructions of the manufacturer on how to access and what type of battery is needed to replace it.

A simple call to your computer manufacturer should provide all the necessary information.

  • Windows 8 time continues to change at random

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me with the problems I'm having with my laptop. It's brand new, running Windows 8. Everything works well except the clock. The time continues to change and I'm unable to synchronize with the time Internet. Whenever I try to sync, I get the error message "the peer is not resolved."
I haven't noticed any particular model for how time continues to change, except that if I turn off and turn on again hours later, time has not moved at all of what it was when I turned it off.
I have searched and tried many things, including instructions in this post: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-windows_store/why-windows-store-not-able-to-connect-to-proxy/8c400732-68a1-4875-906a-cae90081dc40. I got the same error message as the user - "no time data is available."
    Any suggestions? Thank you!

Bridge continues to change the selection of the sort each time that I reopen it the Bridge window... WHY?

Well, I solved the puzzle myself.

I noticed that somehow a stray .psd file was stuck in my side bar of the Mac Finder.  Don't ask me how it got there.

At the beginning I couldn't delete it – until I tried a Mac forum and they suggested I hold down the command key and drag it off... to poof!

    It worked.

And when I went back to bridge - now the bad behavior disappeared!  And when I close the window Bridge and reopen - the choice to "classify" same home!

Yay... it's a small step for me, and one small step for computerkind.

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
    • Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.

  • "Title" bar continues to change color

The "Title" bar continues to change color. I don't mind above all this except that one color is green and I hate this color!

Is it possible to change this behavior?

    Hello

I took a screenshot of my title bar in Firefox (Windows 7) and it marked with an arrow below. I think that is what changes the color on your machine?

In Windows 8, the color of the bars title in all applications is determined by the operating system not Firefox. This varies according to the theme of your operating system, but by default, it is a kind of 'average' colors sampled in your background. This replaces the Aero translucent look of Windows 7.

So detestable green color is most likely taken from your screen background image. To get rid of him the best bet is to change your background.

If you wish to override the settings for Windows, you can try a Firefox theme:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/themes/

Or you can change the color of the title bar with the code to userChrome.css

Also, see this MozillaZine forum thread:

    I hope this helps.
