  I just create an account with the hp connected (using my normal email account) and set an account with snapfish (also using my normal e-mail account) and follow the 2 accounts that was necessary.   While HP plugged in I had attributed the 8500 printer and email account that had heprint.com after the @sign.     I made sure my Hp officejet 8500 is connected to the internet, as I printed some may ask code, and it seems that my printer is connected to the connected hp.     After you install the HPeprint application on my driod, I had to turn it on and it took a confirmation code which was sent through my email normat account.  After that I entered the confiramtion code it will not print because it is using my normal email address to talk to the printer.   I tried to reactivate the application using the printers email (@heprint.com) but I know how to read the e-mail for the confirmation code.   I know I'm a little stupid but where can you read emails sent to the address @heprint.com or e-mail account, you are supposed to use to get this app to work.    I also have a Tablet I want to connect to the printer.

  Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I appreciate that you try to set up the mobile application of HP ePrint on your Android Smartphone.

  You were correct in the activation of the application with your normal email.  The next step in the implementation of the application, after the outbreak of the app is to add your printer to the app using its @hpeprint.com email.   I've included a screenshot of where to add the printer within the app.  The screenshot shows the Apple version of the application, but the location and the steps are the same.

  Once you have your phone set up the steps are the same for your Android tablet.  You need activate the application on the Tablet, which will require a second confirmation code.  You are able to use your normal e-mail for the confirmation code of Tablet.

• Cannot take possession: Program Files

  I have some problems with the file. I recently installed Windows Vista Home Premium. I have a folder called "Windows.old" that contains the previous Windows installation files. There is a file that I'd like to spend "C:/Windows.old/Program Files" to "C:/Program Files. But Windows gives me an error "You need Permission..". I right click on "C:/Program Files" and it is not a full control on the folder. I tried to take control, but it says access denied.

  Any ideas how to solve this problem?

• Cloned drive with Ghost now I seem to have lost administrator

  My C drive was filled, so I used Norton Ghost to create a clone on a drive about 10 times bigger.  The first time I booted up the startup failed.  I used the windows disk to fix... started startup items and seems to work fine.

  It seems thiere is a matter of being an administrator.  A few programs, Quickbooks simple start will especially not worka nd won't let me install a new version told me I don't have permission.

  Try to take possession of a disc and check whether the problem is resolved.

  To take ownership of a drive:

  1. click on the drive that you want to take control and then click Properties.
  2. click on the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the owner tab.
  3. click on modify.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  4. click on the name of the person you want to give to the property.
  5. If you want this person to be the owner of the files and subfolders in this folder, select the Replace owner of subcontainers and objects to check.
  6. click on OK.

  If this does not work, I suggest you turn on the built in user account and check the type of the user account.

  Try to change the type of user account to administrator of built in check and UAC if the issue is resolved.

  In Windows Vista, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default. In previous versions of Windows, an administrator account was created automatically during Out-of-Box-Experience (OOBE) with a blank password.

  An account administrator with a blank password is a security risk. To better protect the system, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in all new installations and upgrades of Windows Vista.

• VM seems to be in use

  I am running VMWare workstation on a Windows 7 host 8. 8 GB of ram. AMD Phenom x 4 965 BE cpu.

  A Linux vm with 4 GB of ram allocated resulted in a complete block of the computer while watching a Youtube video (24 min), totally insensitive machine and required a restart of the computer.

  A ran a test memory on reboot - no error reported - a reboot of my computer and attempt to restart my VM linux has resulted in the following error:

  As it's the second catastrophic failure that I had recently it seems to me that the concept of the virtual machine is not intended for a "production" environment, a simple concept where processes or systems can be tested for validity, but the virtual machine can be used to treat the actual data, which essentially destroyed the usefulness of virtual machines.
