• Found a lot of "No Name" entries in Contacts - How to remove?

  iOS 10.0.1 on an iPhone 6 more.

  I just discovered that in my contact list on my iPhone, I have 20 + entries 'No Name'.  they appear at the bottom of the list where I do not usually watch.

  These do not appear on my contact list on my Mac Mini, which is supposed to be synch'ed via iCloud.

  How can I get rid of all the "No Name" entries without deleting them one at a time?

  P = 2 second pauses

  In the last part of the entry (xyzab), they are all the numbers and have several 0 in the entry.

  When I look at the entry in the contacts, it is showing correctly.

  When I call the contact, 0 are ignored and no-0 entries are sent.

  Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this problem and get all the numbers to send?

  I tried to be recessed to the part of the problem of registration to (), but that has not solved the problem.

  I took the phone to a local Verizon and puzzled the personal store.

• How can I rebuild Contacts using files retrieved from a failing hard drive?

  I want to restore the Contacts (address book) on my new MacBook Pro, using recovered files to a failed drive of my old Mac. My Help Desk was able to extract most of the data files (but not apps) from the defective drive. These data files are restored to the new Mac. Of these, I chose a few hundreds of files of the type, 'The card Contacts data', using the smart folder feature. I named the file, "All contacts Map Data Type." (I must have assembled the information to hand over the years, as only a handful of contacts have a vCard.)

  I've been so far failed to restore the info in the Contacts application: (a) tried "Import" functionality of the application, but the dialog box that opens shows no files "all the contacts data card kind; (b) tried to drag the selected files in the folder "All files of Contacts data card kind" on the Contacts icon closed, but no luck. (c) the Contacts application, when in reality open, shows the first entry of contact (Apple Inc.) and no place to drag the files selected in.

  Each 'card contacts' file has a file name that has the name of a person, preceded of a Rolodex-like icon doesn't seem to be a good type of data in the Contacts application. Maybe that's a previous type of an address book application?

  Any suggestions?

  Have you tried to drag the folder in the sidebar of the Finder to see if you can then see when you use Import?

• Mass delete contacts on Devour: not through Google

  This we ' are for geeky expert to devour.

  I need to mass delete all contacts on the contacts list of my Devour directly, not through Google. Read on to see why.

  I had bad tip from Verizon when it is load my list of contacts from my Treo when switching to devour. All contacts appear on my Devour under the scope of the Source as 'unknown '. I have about 580 contacts IHN the phone (still messed up, as explained later complications, below.) I need to delete all contacts on the phone contact database. I have read all the help on changing the contactnlist and most of the suggestions consult Google bugs that do not work due to the data of source Treo. I see only a built-in mechanism to remove a contact at the time - make a list of contacts, long wait on contact, Sekect "remove contact". It would take forever to get rid of all these. BTW: There are about 8 addtl Ceres which came through MotoBlur associated with Verizon account short, for the most part.

  I don't want to do system reset because I'll lose all my e-mail & text history and all loaded apps, right?

  When I go to Google, the contact list looks somewhat OK (apparently came from the 'unknown' on my phone list), but it does not sync 2-way. If I make the changes online in the Google Directory, they appear on my phone - probably because of the 'unkbown' (Treo) source.

  If I could remove my Contact list on the phone, mass I could re-sync my phone from the list of contacts on Google because they would no longer have a source = unknown for existing contacts.

  Other complications:

  (1) I have a Notes transferred over the Treo fields. Some notes have returns to separate lines. Notes display in Google and on my phone to OK, but Google's CSV export generates a new record/line whenever he sees the "new line character" mess up the data structure for this record, which ruins any download data to Google.

  (2) Treo helped contact storage/search by name, first name, and company name. {I hope one of these days Devour will get her act together to do this, because it is a tool of business for me - not a way to deal with my buddies. The Treo, I had about 80 entries to contact no contact – just the company name and phone number. (I used it to travel - airlines, national hotel chains, car rentals, etc.) where having a contact name would be meaningless. Worked fine on Treo, but not on the Contacts to devour her, or Google. All contacts "no name" entered into phone with no contact but with phone number display OK and the name of the company in the field of the organization. But given the source of contact = 'unknown' (explained above) changes in the CSV file doesn't download and sync to Google or make to the phone.

  It's a technological mess. I am sure it will work a mass Davis on the phone and resynchronization of the Google phone contacts list.

  If massive removal is not possible directly on the Devour, is there a replacement product that allows you to edit the list of contacts to devour her. I checked Marektplace, but don't see any editors of the list of contacts.

  I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300, and a few days ago, I added a new e-mail account and synced my contacts with the email account list without realizing it. So I deleted the email account, so it would interrupt the synchronization and it didn't. Today, I deleted a contact in the list of e-mail contacts through the computer and since then every time I tried to open this entry app contact frozen. Then, I deleted the entry and now I can't add all other contacts...

  Welcome to the forums of Palm! In your specific example, open the contact for shipping of 2 company, then tap the header at the top. A list appears showing all sources of data for this contact. Tap the 3 company shipping option, then select Remove the link profile. This will separate 3 company so that it is a separate contact.

  I just bought a Lenovo Ideapad S210 a few months previously. When I start using the screen touch everything works for a few seconds and then bubbles randomly with about a half inch in diameter start popping up, usually horizontally across my screen. These bubbles I'm referering to are the Visual effect when a finger touches the screen. So far, these bubbles of thugs seem to reproduce every time that I start to use the touch screen and help control my cursor with my touch pad, touch screen, or an external mouse once they appear. The only thing that works is to stop the laptop, which is a big inconvenience.

  No idea how to resolve this please? It runs on Win 8 by default.

  Yes it's the touch input indicator where it shows where a tactile contact is made through the screen.

  It cost the LCD touch screen is defective it is like being pressed detect entries of contact on the screen.

  I suggest calling technical support on this issue and I do not know that they will know what are the options to take in this regard.

  version of Windows. If you reinstalled Vista, you must also
  Reinstall your Office applications and anything else that you had. If you
  is not an Office CD, you're out of luck, but if the office came with
  your entry door, contact Gateway and see if they can do something to help
  you.

• Phone info of the device number differs from phone number

  The number which is located in the folder of device information into the Launcher has a different number than my cell phone number. How I found? Someone left me a voicemail so I pressed "1" to retrieve the message. However, my phone (Pixi) dialed a number that wasn't mine. How could it happen? I'm suspect that when my Pixi phone has been replaced at the Sprint store - it froze the second day and Palm support instructed me to return the unit for a new - they gave me a phone that had been used briefly by someone else (although the shop told me it was a new phone).

  So when the Sprint Store copied my data in the 'new' phone (which reproduces about 80 entries of contact), it doesn't have to change the phone number in the input of the unit. The only problem this causes is the speed dial, the call to voicemail. My real phone number appears in the outgoing calls and incoming calls reached my phone.

  I contacted the Palm and Sprint, and both have never run into this problem before. Then they tell me that I have to do a hard reset (groan). If - finally - my question: what happens to my data with a hard reset? I use CompanionLink to sync Contacts and calendar between Outlook and my google account - no problem here?

  You solved my problem! Thank you very much! I was going to pick up the phone to the service center of Sprint for the hard reset and restore process. After obtaining your response, I called Sprint and spoke with a person of advanced technical support. He played the reconfiguration of network and I now have my real phone number back on the phone.   I'm trying to display a list of contacts and to speed up time, I want to call contactDetails() on each contact to obtain values for fill my loading list. I do that when one is selected.

  According to the documentation (https://developer.blackberry.com/native/reference/cascades/bb__pim__contacts__contact.html#function-... when I call contactservice.contacts (), I should get partial contacts that contains only the first image, which would be enough for me to see it next to the name.)

  However, when I try to access the primaryPhoto() or the photos.first (), there is nothing.

  (The same code works well that if I use it on a contact I made using contactDetail() instead of the search list)

  For more information, I use the 10.3.1 SDK and I test on my passport 10.3.1.1779 running.

  And here is my code snippet:
