  You shouldn't have an activation code. If you install a simple Windows 8 OS (not Windows 8 Pro), then in the BIOS activation code should be adopted automatically during installation. The key isn't vald for Windows 8 Pro, so if you want to install, then just buy it at Microsoft. Note that it is technically unnecessary to buy a full Windows 8 Pro key, key to upgrade should work just as well if you're ready to do a simple search on Google for a workaround which takes a minute of your time plus a reboot your laptop to achieve more.

  If the computer came with win 7 pre installed the it is OEM.  A touch of detail will not work with OEM.  You must either install the OEM with the original key or the new version with a touch of detail.

  If this happens in the BIOS as you note, that does anything have to do with the operating system.   As suggested from GMAC-R60, this indicates that the keyboard be bad or have a bad / intermittent connection to the system board, or something on the card system goes wrong.

  Remove and disconnect the keyboard - inspect the plug keyboard for any damage or visible corrosion.  Plug back in carefully and try again.  If the problems are still occurring, try...

  Clearing CMOS and reset the BIOS by default - sometimes you get somewhat stuck causing an abnormal condition:

  Remove the battery & AC adapter / CC.  Press and hold button power several times for an account of 5 each time.   Join AC and restart the computer.    Go into the BIOS and reloading the default values and save.  (there is an option to restore the default settings).  Stop.  Equip your battery and restart.

  Try to replace the keyboard - you can communicate with the service and order a keyboard replacement out of warranty or a local business partner of source on (if there are retailers of warranty allowed in your area, they will have the keyboard in stock or be able to order it).   Alternatively, check sales online - ebay, etc as you wish.

  If none of these steps solve it, so my next suggestion would be the system board, but I think it's rather unlikely.

  It's logical.  The condition on line 11

  Class.ID = student_course.class_id

  will not be TRUE is student.course.class_id is null.

  As Someoneelse said, looks like you need an Outer Join.

  Inner joins, as you use above, produce results only when a row in a table has one matching row in another table.

  In this case (as far as I can tell without data sample or results), you want to display the rows in a table with their matching rows When THERE is a MATCHING ROWS, but you want to show each row of the first table in any case, if corresponding lines.  This is an outer join.
