My h9 - 1215t Phoenix HPE is missing in the form of graphics card.

Hi all. I recently bought a desktop Windows 7 model HPE h9 - 1215t Phoenix from the HP store. The day before I placed the order, the computer was available with the Nvidia GTX 680 as an option, but deleted the day I bought the computer, so I ordered the computer and bought an EVGA GTX 680 instead (Yes, cost me about $300 + extra too). Well, today, a week or two after you received the computer, I had the chance to open and take a look at the plug on the side of the PSU to be sure that I am able to run a 680 GTX in there, because it requires at least a 550w power supply at least 38A the 12v rails. I knew I was good on the 550W as it comes with a 600w PSU, but I wanted to check the amperage of rail. So I open the housing cover side and take a look at the PSU, and I see that I should be able to run the graphics card very well and a call to technical support available EVAG explaining what I confirmed it. But then I noticed something off the computer pedal. I noticed that there seemed to be different from what I saw in the manual, on the HP support site and tear down/install videos. Then I realized, IT LACK THE CONSERVANT SUPPORT of CARD GRAPH. This support is essentially a medium which has two functions, first of all, it supports graphics cards that are installed in these computers, as they can be big and frame h9 more small/more low need help a little. In addition, it supports and adds stiffness to the chassis/body itself. Well, I looked on the housing cover and of course, there is a diagram showing the missing piece, and how you should remove it to work on the computer. I was on the phone all NIGHT HP, fired back from technical support and sales and tech and sales and so on and so forth. After-sales service was good and they seemed like they really wanted to help but could not, support seemed like they did not give two * s, is if you could even understand them well enough to revisit their behavior. After having recited my S/N and the model number, name and address and million times I gave up. Supervisors do not help yet. Sales gave me an option indicating that they would send me a new one, but, that I had to pay for the new and the accusation that is held on my card until they received a new once I removed the stand and put it on mine or just returned my old one. This was not an option that I don't have an extra $ 1,000 on my line of credit, as well as, given the fact that I WOULDN'T have to DO. It's HP high time f *, now why in the heck do I have to buy another computer, so they will fix the problem?

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03028387

The support is shown in this tutorial from HP that precedes, it appears in "Step 2" and "Step 3"in the tutorial."

Now my question is, one, someone already had this problem before? Because it really seems to be as if the person build this forgotten CTO computer reinstall the support when he'she finished the job and he bundled. Also, my other question is, WHO in the heck do I talk to to get this replacement part. Because that of course standard HP support is room runable, or not of the all ready to help me with the problem. Anything short of this computer back or get a replacement can be done? Is not an option that I use this computer for work, and I absolutely can't be without him for more than 1 day and I absolutely refuse to buy, or even let put them a cool/warm on my card for the additional amount for a new computer, because it's not my fault, and I would not solve the problem. HP needs to fix. I don't understand why someone can't just get a model h9, pop the * er open and put the dang game in the mail. When did things get so complicated and such to where people can't complete this simple action? Can anyone, anyone at all help me? Anyone from HP? I would really like to hear your opinion and your explanation as to why your emplyees completely refuse to help me. Seems as if HP now has my money, for this purpose, they don't give 2 of those stinking.

@Win7Loyalist:

I understand your frustration when something isn't quite right with your new test bench.  I've been there.  You paid a lot of money for a complete system, and you wait until it is complete.

I also own an HPE Phoenix system, and I have a model h9 - 1120t with an i7 3770 k liquid and a GTX 670 which I added myself.  Mine is a Power Edition MSI GTX 670, which is Overclocked at the factory and is actually a bit better than a reference GTX 680 model.

But I hope I can ease your frustration a bit, unless you have already found or bought one of the supports.  If so - you can skip reading any further.

This metal bracket is not required to be left in the case, and it is designed for the purpose of shipment.  Yes, it supports and rigidity was added to the case, but this is necessary only when shipped, and not when its definition in your office or anywhere where you put your home.  The Phoenix case is not fragile and didn't need added support when in your office.

I already had my GTX 670 graphic card when I got my rig to Phoenix, and I removed the clamp support immediately and have never used.  He has been since then in the area of HP in my attic.  I have have my system for over a year now and can you - you have no need (or want) that ugly support in there, unless you plan from somewhere, this shipping system.

Because you must return your system to its original configuration if you need to send back to HP for warranty service, you must deliver 630 GT little in it anyway, and it's so light it will not need the support.  I suspect that's why they left.  Of course there's always someone just forgotten.

In any case, I understand that you should have the support you are 100% right about this, it is not necessary, but I don't want mine here.  I spent a bit of time to clean the birds nest of wiring that HP did (it was a mess) and I really "tightened" and straightend the wiring inside my case and having decent airflow.  Much better than the factory.  This just square would stand in the air, not to mention that it's ugly.

I'm surprised that its hard to get a good.  That makes no sense at all.  It's like a $5 coin.  I'd sell you mine, but I have a year left on my warranty and I need if I must refer the drill rig to HP for anything whatsoever.

In any case, enjoy your Phoenix is really a very nice gaming platform.  I can launch ANY game of current generation such as BF3, Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim, Tomb Raider and even Crysis 3 - on the highest settings at 1920 x 1080 and get great frame rates.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I really don't understand why HP has never promoted this platform.  It was obviously intended to go against Alienware, but no one has heard of the HPE Phoenix system.  HP does not appear to worry about marketing or promotion of this system at all.

What a waste.

    Hi there @junior19805,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!  I understand that you ask a withdrawal of the graphics card of mounting brackets for better circulation of air.  I'm happy to help you with this.

There are a few problems with this. First support firmly maintains the card in place in its decision to maintain a good connection and prevent the flow of the socket. Second, although it may seem intuitive abduction, counter to the back plate of the computer can actually hinder the cooling system, as the positioning of various fans and admission of eaves, are often designed to channel air flow, so it travels on the components that most need cooling.

All that being said, you can always try it and see if there is an improvement in your case, but the possibility of a graphic intermittent connection is going to be a matter of concern

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

  • HP pavilion HPE H8 - 1160t: 530 to 740 geforce graphics card update

The connection with my primary monitor has become black after moving from monitor, my secondary monitor is fine

I check connections change cables, bought new cables just in case they have been the cause, even to swap monitors and try to see if it's the monitor.

    monitors both work.

so, I check the connection on the graphics card. I have a card GEForce 530

I went and bought a new 400Watts power supply to support a GEForce GT 740 and the computer emits a beep ounces and nothing, black screens

then I tried with one monitor and remains black, I can't start in safe mode it does not give me the options that the specifications and nothing else.

I even clear the RAM memory cards, clear the CMOS and disconnected and plugged the card back just in case.

    nothing

    screen stays black

I return to my old card and it works fine but only one monitor, I need two monitors to work.

any suggestions or if you know if this model does not support a map update?

I did some research already for a few days.

    Thank you

Check with the manufacturer of the card. I suspect that it is a map of UEFI VBIOS, not inherited.  Your system does not support inheritance. An explanation of @old_geekster can be found here.

The problem is that on the cables coming out of the power supply unit I have not free connectors, except a connector 6-pin female designed for a graphics card.  I can't find any commercial cable to connect the female connector 6 pin mentioned the molex 4 pin of the card.

You will need to tap into an existing SATA power connector, either go to an optical drive or a hard drive.

    This adapter should work.

  • HP Pavilion HPE H8-1234: Hp screen after the passage of graphics cards

    Hello

I ordered a new graphics card and the power supply about two weeks ago. When I put the new power supply in the computer, it worked fine, power supply is Corsair 600 watts. This is not the first time that I changed my graphics card and the one I have now is a PNY GeForce GT 610. I'm trying to get is a MSI GeForce GTX 950. I took it to a buddy of mine to see if the problem was with the card and it worked fine on his custom build, but when I try to put in mine all the getting is the HP logo on a blue screen reading "Push ESC for boot menu". When I Press esc, nothing happens. There are two single beeps, one about 30 seconds after you turn on the computer and another minute later, followed by the screen goes black with a underscore on it.

Any help would be wonderful that I have run out of ideas as to what could be the problem. Thank you for your time.

    VGcrazee, welcome to the forum.

I think that your new video card is not compatible with the motherboard BIOS.  960 GTX requires UEFI in the motherboard rather than a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  I suggest that you check the BIOS version and contact Technical Support PNY for help.  They are the experts on their products.  It is very difficult to know which video cards more recent will work with older computers.

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-083uk with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX260 graphics card (HP part number: HP 579684-001).

The graphics card has stopped working and I am looking for a replacement, but struggling to find one that matches the required configuration, in the same slot and is available in 2014.

    Any guidance would be appreciated,

If earlier I wanted a new Phoenix 810qe Desktop (windows version 8) with the following customizations: 4th gen Intel i7 - 4790 k @4.0 Ghz, 16 GB DDR3 - 1600 Mhz (2 DIMM), 2 TB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive, cache SSD 16 GB mSATA, HP WLAN 802.11 DB 2 x MCard BT WIDI 2 ac, 15 in 1 Multi Media Card Reader slot , 6 USB ports (front/back), Audio [before 4USB2.0, 2USB3.0 top of the page], 4 GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 745. I want to know if I could put in an Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 instead of the 745 GTX graphics card. Reading this post on the forum (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware/Upgrade-My-HP-ENVY-Phoenix-810qe-Desktop/td-p/4679014) I know that the computer has a power of 500w. But in the post, that it seemed that the person asking the question just had basic computer and had not adapted it, and I still have to wonder if the customization that I did for my computer took more watts of the PSU.  Now that I know that the GTX 980 would need 500 all the watts that my computer can offer that I want to know if my computer is perhaps still able to run this beast of a GPU. Anyone have any ideas? If this isn't the case, I think I can just settle for a Geforce GTX 960 because who needs to 400 w of total power of the system. But I'm not even sure that would work on my current computer either. Any help?

  • New Graphic card of the HP Pavilion HPE-500-cs

Hello, I have HP Pavilion HPE 500 - cs with win7 on it.

Because I wanted to give my PC to my brother, I decided to keep the GTX 460 graphic card to give it a lower new Ge Force 9400 GT which I got from my friend. There is not a supply of radiator connector and PCI-E connector was reconected several times so it is not loose.

But what is the problem. When I try to start the HP Pavilion with new GPU, it freezes just to the HP loading logo and I can't do anything.

Is there a way to change the old GPU to give it the lowest?

There is something on the forums on secure boot in the bios, but it's just for win8.

    Thank you

Edit: Sorry for my mistake... I called the power as a PCI connector which of course isn´t

Thank you very much, but now I see the problem in me.

And it s because I have a different look in the bios and I can´t see the menus as it guides, but I remember that once it was like that.

This would solve my problem if I could downgrade somehow it back.

But still, thank you for your comment

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-420 old graphics card?

Hello people, I just ordered the Pavilion Elite HPE-420 with the specs:

    CPU: i7 870 2.93 ghz.

Graphics card: Nvidia gt230 1.5 GB

    RAM: 6 GB ddr3

    Hard drive: 1.5 to

OS: windows edition Home premium 64-bit

Overall, not a bad pc, but "HP" made a huge mistake by using the Gt 230 graphics card since it is a remake of the geforce 9600 gt card? The gt 230 is not really a card you want in your system, these days, I have good or I am completely wrong?

BTW, I play a lot of games...

The HP HPE-420nl is here.  Other models of the HPE-420 have an ATI 5450 which is a 2.0 card.

There is not much detailed information posted for the HPE h9 - 1215t.  Additional information that is similar to the above can be found here.

The comfigurator sale today only shows the n wireless card, which does contain no bluetooth.  You need the premium card that is not currently available on the configurator.

I have not seen any questions or problems reported with cooling by water.

Blue-writer information is detailed supported media types.  The image below is what HP has posted.

  • HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO: Questions about change of graphics card

Hello, my computer is a HP Pavilion HPE h9 - 1110t Phoenix CTO desktop PC. I think it's time to replace the graphics card, it's come up with, the GeForce GT 545. Lately my performance in games such as Star Wars The Old Republic has considerably decreased in FPS and it stutters terribly while he was playing even on the smaller settings. The fan is really loud when the games. And in the past two months, I got two random reboots, which gave rise to a video as material error being the cause. The fan blades have a lot of dust between the two, but they are so small and placed together, I can't clean it good.

I have an EVGA GeForce GT 640 to replace. But I have a few questions first. This card is compatible with my motherboard, right? Second, before installing it, should I uninstall the drivers I have right now for my 545? If so, I then stop and put the new? And after that I put in, the resolution will be all twisted up until I have install new drivers? And should I install the drivers from the NVIDIA site, right and forget the CD?

Also, I have a 600w PSU, fake? That's what the specs say on HP for my computer, so it's going to be enough to have the right to TG 640?

And then, about my diet, I want to get dust inside of it, but I won't come out or open or other. I saw on the site of HP I can take a vacuum and suck the dirt out of the outside vent. Can I do this without damaging it? I have a vacuum in my garage from Sears, I got that I use to clean my car, which would be allowed to use on the outside vent?

    Thank you for the answers!

    GT545 (75W) and 640 (65W) are only 10W difference.

Uninstall via the Device Manager.  I always liked create a new installation with the latest software and driver CD. If you wish, use the old CD. That will be established. It will update.  If you use a shop vacuum, keep the nozzle in contact with the metal frame. I like the nozzle between 2 fingers from the cradle.

    GIGABYTE GV - N760OC - 4GD GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256 - bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready gets 3 X 450W video card

Posted below are the video graphic specifications for my Phoenix H9-1135: graphic video

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion HPE h9-1135 Phoenix. You will need to ensure that power plant is rated at a minimum of 500 watts and has at least a 6 connector pins and a connector 8 pin for the graphics card GTX 760. In addition, that the card is long 11.5 ", you need to measure along the plane of the PCIe x 16 location at the rear of the case more far to determine if there is enough space for the map. If you find all the obstacles before reaching approximately 12 ", the map is inappropriate.
