  Hi Jade4142.Did try you go to BIOS and set it to the default settings and put the disc in, and then restart. There are many variables to a disc is loading. It could be the Platinum cd/dvd is defective, the disc is dirty, scratched or any black disc market. It you load on the HARD drive that crashed? If so, it could be that the HARD drive is infected? If this is a new HARD disk, you must leave the disconnected HARD drive, start the computer that lights up and looking for a hard drive. In this way the motherboard works independent of the HARD drive. The motherboard doesn't have a HARD drive to boot. Once you start without a HARD disk he won't say you no HARD drive or o/s found. Stop it. Connect the HARD drive for the sake of things a NEW HARD drive. Then start the unit go to BIOS and set to boot from the cd/dvd and then save and reboot. If the disc is genuine, and it's a new HARD drive, it should load without problems.
