• Why my batch file does not run properly in Task Scheduler

  My .bat files do not work with Task Scheduler.

  For testing purposes, I created a very simple, one line .bat file:

  ECHO this is a test. > TestFile.txt

  If I run this file by double-clicking it, it works correctly and created a text with a single line of text document.

  But if I create a task to run this file, the text file is NOT created.  For the task history log, said that the task was started and completed successfully but no text file is created.

  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

  Thanks for the suggestion, but I solved my problem.

  It turns out that you can't use the full path to the .bat file in "Program/script" field of the Scheduler of tasks but rather than actual .bat file name, then the rest of the way in the field "start in".

• SWF files do not load properly more...

  I maintain a site with many tutorials online (www.edutorials.gr) I save with various desktop recording software and export to swf format. These last few months some of these tutorials will not load properly and freeze after a few seconds.

  • These tutorials of swf originally played ok (a few months ago)
  • The other swf tutorials continue to play ok
  • I used the same software to save and export to swf format most of the tutorials for the site
  • I tried to open the problematic SWFs with different browsers and flash players (both online and locally in my pc) and they are always the same
  • Is here (http://edutorials.gr/drupal-admin-settings1) a SWF which freezes and
  • Is here (http://edutorials.gr/gimp-fire-smoke) another one that continues to behave ok

  Any ideas why this happens? I don't have a clue

  Can you revert to the original .fla and make a new .swf and use it then?

  Basically, I download all PDFs and put it in the right location.

• BUG - SVG files do not (display) properly in Captivate 9

  Hello:

  I am currently working with a SVG file in Captivate however for some reason, the Captivate refuses to make the file correctly. I tried enabling / disabling "Allow smooting" in the properties of library asset but no difference. The file opens and renders correctly in artificial intelligence, and was established in artificial intelligence.

  Please find below the pictures illustrating the issue.

  I think it is a bug in Captivate 9. I see also similar rendering problem with SVG files in the preview / publication. Even in the case of these files that render correctly in Captivate, they do not properly when the content is presented in preview / published. I tried to view the published content in different browsers (Chrome, FireFox, Opera, IE, Edge).

  Any help will be welcome.

  Looks like the difference is in the way Illustrator creates the SVG of the file I. You could try the Illustrator various recording options. Not sure I can be of much help here

  In case you have problems with the SVG after import to Captivate 9 then let us know.

• Creative Cloud Files, do not link to folder Mac

  I use a retina 5 k Mac

  When I click on the creative cloud > resources > files

  I get an engine... Even after being "on" all night!

  I can access my goods online via Safari... by logging into my account.

  I'd like to be able, once more download directly from Lightroom > Creative Cloud Files...

• Why the help files are not dated?

  It would be useful that versions pdf files help on board the publication date of the cover page.  As it is, not sure if the version offered is updated from the one you have already downloaded.

  Still no contents and index, either.

  Pagination is also for paper size, much the most used commonly A4.  This translates into a plethora of widows and orphans.

• Configuration file is not working properly in Adobe illustrator CS5

  So I learned Adobe Illustrator CS5 (10% for example). I have these two files that I downloaded on the net. These are files of models of animal skins.

  The first file is named "Animals_skins.ai" and is taken from htthttp://www.adobe.com/uk/web/tips/ill10qtpatt/p :// and can be downloaded on the same page ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/magic/special/illustrator/win/pattern.zip and has 10 modes of animal skins. When I

  1. Open the file directly in Adobe Illustrator CS5, I get the contents of the file as well when they are added directly to the "Panel color chart" on the left. When I fly over the individual boxes/tiles/rectangles in the swatches Panel with the mouse, I get titles like 'Jagur' or 'Tiger' telling me the name of the models.
  2. Which is the case when I load the file using the "open Swatch Library" > "Other Library" and find the file and open it. Works perfectly. I can apply the patterns of all forms and it works like a charm.

  I have another 3rd file which has grounds to cow and it has exactly the same way as the second file. Opening it shows me the model in the main window, but it is not added to the panle swatches or by adding the mouse or open it using the method of library to browse.

  Then simply create the templates yourself. Drag the objects to the Swatches palette (see the manual for more details). Some people might not tile correctly.

• To optimize the size of the file will not work properly in save for web (CS6)

  I make layouts for digital designers who must be less than 250 KB. For a few months, when I try to save my pages of tiff in a smaller size, using the Save for web and optimization of the size of the file box Photoshop no longer works correctly.  Files are often 100 francs more grand than the target k 250 KB. Data in the lower corner of the screen corresponds to the k target but the recorded real this file too large.

  In the Web dialog box, do you have the metadata one value other than None?

  Which could explain the difference in size.

  

• Updated to the Mavericks and now the MXF files will not work properly

  2008 mac Pro, just upgraded to the Mavericks. We use Canon XF 300 s that create MXF video files. When they are imported into first CC, different files have the first video on playback and I can not change the rest of the clips because they are all the first clip. The reading of the original files normally when you use VLC Player. I have the same question on all the machines of Mavericks, we have but not the machines that are still on Lion 10.7, the MXF files work fine. Is there a solution from Adobe, or is it a matter of Mavericks?

  You know what, I think I just solved her problem. Using the media browser, I was able to import a MXF file, because it combines all of the individual clips in a clip.

  Hi there - yesterday I went on HP website and typed in my printer # and I saw the downloads there.  I did and the Scan part of it was a little different.  But now works!  I did not uninstall anything.  So give it a try.  Let me know how it goes.

• Help files not available in the offline Help system

  Living in the United Kingdom and have BT (British Telecom) as my ISP, it is not at all unusual for my broadband to be disconnected to 75% of the time.

  Earlier today my broadband was again downwards and therefore when I clicked on the Dreamweaver Help system, no help was available.

  The ability to use the offline Help files has not helped much either.

  I use CS5.5 and I can see the offline help that was available in all the other versions (up to CS4) does not exist.

  Click on help/edit/preferences and it seems that you must download the files yourself, so I had to do.

  First that I logged in - which worked.

  On the general tab, make sure "Display Local Help content only" is not selected.

  In the Preferences menu, click Download Preferences and check the boxes next to the items you want to download.

  Then, go to the Updater settings and click 'Manually update my content stored locally using' t, then click on manage now.

  No downloads are available as shown above.

  Back to the Help menu - a message appears - to access or download help, connect to Internet or deselect the "Display Help content Local only" option in preferences.

  I am connected to the Internet and view Local Help is not checked. Nothing! Earlier, I arrived at this point and closed and restarted Dreamweaver with exactly the same result.

  What is the point of a help offline system that is not available for download.

  I did a search on Google and found a post that is supposed to affect people in Croatia or China or some other land away and was able to download a pdf help file. However, it is not good enough. I don't have to load a pdf file when it is supposed to be a support system built into the product offline. Or at least there should be way to aq of binder in the system.

  A search of the line on the help files revealed nothing help on offline Help files.

  Can someone enlighten me?

  And what I need to download the help files for all programs of 12 or more in the sequel?

  Persistence is paying off. Seems that it is not possible to implement offline files in a program now, but it is possible to program from Adobe.

  Point 9 is optional I think - but I'll see. Currenlty I help offline in most programs and he has to say when there is an update available.

  I have found the answer when checking Acrobat X for help - even in this case, the solution seems a bit obscure.

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Please go to the preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

• Where are the help files

  Hi I have Adobe Captivate 5.5. When I select help > > Adobe Captivate Help, the Adobe Help application appears, but it's just going to a web site at helpx.adobe.com. This site lists a manual for "Captivate 7.  On the status bar help from Adobe, it says "local content updates available". Under the search box, there are radio buttons for the location of the search: 'Online' and 'Local', however the 'Local' button is grayed.  All this suggests that, when I installed Captivate, the help files have not also installed.

  Is it possible that I can download and install the help files?

  If not, is there a site where the documentation can be viewed online?

  I have the rest of the entire education and have similar problems with all the products in the bundle.
