  I have a site that has multiple pages and is growing. There are several elements (IE a photo and the menu cursor navigation) on every page that are the same. Currently, if I want to change the content in the navigation or the cursor, I need to change all html pages that is a lot of work. Is it possible to insert code into the index html pages not so that if I change the navigation index menu it will automatically change on the other pages?   There are several solutions:

  1. use server-side includes to you all contain common elements. I use them regularly for things like the HEAD content, content of a header, any element of Navigation, footer and containers of colophon.

  2. use Dreamweaver library items contain the same.

  3. use Dreamweaver templates to create your pages.

  #1 is by far the best way, but you must understand how the side server, and how they are set includes work in non scripted pages, or script pages, depending on what you are using.

  #2 is a better solution that #3, but one of them doing their work in DW in your files, which then need to be downloaded again to the server later.

  I use Vmware Workstation 6.5.3 on Windows XP Sp3 with a Windows XP guest and have a persistent independent drive. I took the shots to fall back when something is wrong.

  It started a couple of weeks. I noticed an email several times being downloaded. After reviewing the many things, I deleted the email on Bellsouth and Thunderbird then downloaded all my emails. Over time, he started doing this several times in a batch of e-mails. The download bar will say it is loading down 1 (or whatever the number) to say 71 messages. It can download 1 or more, then it stops downloading. I go to Bellsouth and remove the last downloaded message and click Get Mail in Thunderbird to start the process again.

  If I don't delete the last email downloaded when I hit Get Mail Thunderbird will download the same email again and stop. A few times it will start a download and work for an extended period and then stop the download without having to download a single mail.

• Accelerated video preview while only Audio remains the same

  Whenever I drop the videos on the timeline, the video is accelerating while the sound remains the same. All the settings for speed are 100%. Then when the video is done it just freezes at the end until the audio. The video is very good in every media player and is not accelerated. I'm on a laptop HP with windows 8. Just installed the program yesterday through creative cloud. I have not tried to export it so I don't know if he accelerated after the export, but I can't edit it with a quick audio and video normal because I need to edit the audio to match the video.   Sounds like a variable frame rate issue. Is this video of yours to a capture application smart phone or screen (guessing the latter). You may need to run the file with a program like Handbrake first before importing it in first to solidify the cadence. First do not like the clips of rate variable frame!
