  • HP Envy 5530 e-all-in-one: envy 5530 E cannot detect alignment page

I'll put up a new e-all-in-one printer HP Envy 5530. I went through the installation OK, until I got to the part about the alignment of the print cartridges.  It prints the alignment page, it will copy even, so I know the scanner works. I printed several pages and they all look great.  But when I use the ink cartridge alignment tool it does not detect the alignment page in the scanner.

Yes, it is face down on the scanner

Yes, the cartridges are installed OK

    Yes, printing seems good

Yes, the scanner can scan and print pages, even the alignment page

    What else to try?

    Thank you

Well, too bad. I unplugged, moved the card to a regular wall outlet instead of a power strip, and it is turned on, ask to do a print alignment.

I did, it printed the page, I put the page on the scanner and it completed the alignment.

I don't know what the problem was earlier, but it worked this time.

  • 4632 HP Officejet printer: hp officejet 4632 printer stuck printing alignment page

Help please.  My printer is stuck trying to print an alignment page.  I can't scan or copy anything to the printer.  I tried unplugging the printer with power, has waited more than a minute, reconnected and it did not help.

I tried the scan doctor and she also did not help - Alternatively found printer was 'busy', or scan doctor tried to print an alignment first page and is stuck there. If I "jump" impression of the alighment with doctor to scan page, it prints a test page, it finds everything works "ok." "" "." Print alignment page"bypasses to jump the"print alignment page"printing, and yet the screen of the printer still says 'now printing alignment page', is stuck and I can't always copy or scan anything from the printer.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions I tried to solve this problem for several weeks.  Thank you.

I think I've just fixed this problem after 3 weeks.  I actually tried the doctor print because it seemed to be a printing problem.  I just tried the scan doctor, he finds problems, led me through steps and printing and scanning seem to work now.  Phew!  That took much too long to fix, but glad it works again.

  • PROBLEM when scanning multi-page pdf

Since the update of the sierra, I have a problem when scanning multiple page document. If I check the checkbox "merge pdf" in the scanner window, first page works fine but when I scan page #2 or one of the more page don't merge in the file pdf which flashes briefly in the sidebar, but still with only one page...

I tried with another scanner (diff brand and model) and the same problem, so not a driver issue...

This will work with the new HP software for the 6500 has and other similar new HP printers, using the same type of software.

With Windows 7 64 bit wireless for HP 5512 AIO printer.  Try using the HP software to scan several pages in a single document, but it does not provide options or the possibility to do so.  Is there a switch or a control or something escapes me or do I need a different software?  I could do with my old PhotoSmart Plus (B209A).

    Hello ScooterSim

I understand what you mean. Try to change the resolution to 300 dpi or lower, some printers are unable to analyze multi-page documents to over 300 and it is then hidden.

  • M277 dw scan multiple pages

I want to use my m277dw like a scanner laser printer and I don't see how to scan multiple pages into a single document.

I looked at the manual, but nothing does answer my question apart from the reference to the "Advanced settings", which I couldn't find in my cljm scan driver software program.

    Should I use another program?

I noticed on the forum that many people have a similar problem but I could not find an answer that helps with this printer model.

    Hello

I understand that you are looking for a method to scan multiple pages and save them in a single document.

If you click on the scan button on the bottom right of your windows interface, the end of the first scan of page, you can find below one. Then click on '+' on the bottom left of the windows interface, it will scan the next page when you have finished all the pages of analysis, and then click 'save', these pages will be saved in a single document.

    I hope this helps.
