  If you call any function, the function will not work.  You must call this function whenever the program changes the values in the TextField.  What happens when the program starts and when you click the button, then work to call this function in the sections of the code.

• iPhone 5 s signal drops randomly

  I have an iphone 5 and recently I had a few problems of signal, the first thing is that if I do not send an iMessage for 5-10 minutes and then I'll send a message, it takes a lot of time for the message to be sent and then I get a bunch of iMessages as I get earlier, then I use FaceTime a lot and recently there has been very little reliable disconnection after 10-20 minutes , I also tried using the oovoo app an appellant video application and the same thing happned it disconnected after 10-20 minutes (note that after it disconnects I recall and it disconnects again, I can do that for hours) the last thing is my signal drop subsistence and not comin back, I'll be in my house and I notice my signal dropped and he won't come back until I turn the phone and the turn it back on again. I'm not sure if the problem is with my service provider or my phone, any help would be appreciated.

• CROSSTALK in NI 9215 signals

  I currently use a NI 9215 module with BNC terminals to read the outputs of two different types of voltage sensors.  Probe is a probe differential o-scope (Tektronix P5200A) which has a rejection of sound very good, while sensor B is a shunt isolated hall effect measurement using a LEM lv20-P and a custom PCB, which has a considerably lower noise rejection.  Noise in the circuit to be measured is mainly the result of a H-bridge Inverter circuit that goes to 10 kHz.  A picture of two sensors measuring the same signal displayed an o-scope is shown below with the sensor signal on top and B sensor on the bottom.

  

  As you can see there is a lot of noise in the B sensor while sensor A is most often silent.  When I connect then both of these signals to my NI 9215 I get the signals shown below (75 kHz sampling rate), sensor A appears in white and green B sensor (ignore the differences in scale, it's programmatically).

  
  As you can see the noise level in the two now is comparably high.  However if disconnect us the 9215 B, the signal from the probe sensor then replaces the image below:

  

  Although there are some present noise, the signal is much cleaner than before.  The natural conclusion that I draw from this is that there is significant interference between the two signals.  The same wiring is used for connecting to the 9215 as o-scope, and the two sensors use shielded twisted pair cables.  This amount of crosstalk seems very high compared to the - 80dB listed in the specifications of the 9215.  Any ideas what could be the cause, or how to fix it?  Unfortunately, I am currently unable to afford a second sensor A.

  If you've built (or building) your apps BlackBerry 10 Aboriginal stunts with internationalization in mind, then you have probably dotted with QML qsTr() calls and macros tr() C++ code. When your application starts the text wrapped in qsTr() or tr() is replaced by the localized text for the local unit and the language (if defined, otherwise default text is used). This works fine unless you change the language setting on your device while your application is running. Unless you take measures to propagate the change to the language through your live webcam app, the text displayed in your application will not match the settting of language new device only when your application is restarted. QML provides this translation of 'direct' with the re-translation class, which can be used with qsTr() update of translations that soon the language setting of the device is changed:

The syntax to use is a bit more complicated to use QML re-translation, but as re-translation you only need to add a line of code for each attribute that you want to translate live.   LiveTranslator encapsulates all the ugly stuff, including remembering the key to the translation, the intermediate signal/slot, and all signal/slot connections necessary for direct translation. Use is as simple as creating an instance of LiveTranslator, passing the constructor the translation for the attribute key (and the context, but more on that later), the Visual control of the target and the location on the control that accepts the update of translation. Note that tr() only works with static keys chains...

  Note that there is no need to save a reference to the new instance LiveTranslator since the constructor sets the 'target' as a parent control. When the control is destroyed by your app the LiveTranslator will go with him. The first parameter to the constructor LiveTranslator is the 'context' where the translation key. When you use the macro tr() (or function qsTr() QML) the code parser mentions of where he found the key and stores it in the translation file. This way you can use the same key for translation on different pages, and if the context is different, you could have them translated differently. The parser doesn't know anything about the LiveTranslator class but it must indicate the context explicitly. For C++, the context is always the name of the class containing the code that you are translating. In addition, in case it is not obvious, the "key" parameter must be the same value used with tr() on the input line.

  There is one thing that you must do before using LiveTranslator in your C++ code and that is to give it a LocaleHandler to work with. Rather than force you to spend a LocaleHandler for each instance of LiveTranslator, you tell LiveTranslator that one to use only once with a static function call. If you created your application from one of the Momentics models then you already have a Manager, you can use:

I hope that is useful to the native BlackBerry 10 development community wonderful (and long-suffering).

  'Off (bridgé Mode)' would have nothing to do with the question of whether or not the wireless radio broadcast. This function determines if the airport acts as the "primary" router that distributes the IP addresses to network devices, or if another router is in control of the management of this network.

  If you don't want the AirPort Extreme to broadcast a wireless signal at all, then you will have to turn to "Off" the function Wireless to the router from the airport.

  

  This is easy to do using AirPort Utility on your Mac.  (Finder > Applications > utilities > AirPort Utility)

  I'm working on an application for counting photons.  I use two channels of analog output on a PCI-6713 card to send a frame model to a set of XY scan mirrors.  I then a photon count unit that emits a TTL signal when the photons are detected as a result of this raster analysis.  I then use a surfboard USB-6211 to count the edges on this TTL signal.

  I have problems that seem due to synchronization problems.  I use the sample AO on the PCI-6713 card clock like the door of my meter on the map USB-6211.  I use a trigger to start digital to analog output and a trigger of arms for the entrance to counter early. Is there a way to check that the analog output and counter entry of start of operations at the same time and are are synchronized?  I basically want to monitor and compare the ao real sample of the PCI-6713 card clock door signal used by the jury of the USB-6211.  I was able to export the sample AO clock and watch it on my oscilloscope, but not the signal from the door of the USB-6211.

  Update... It turns out that there is no problem of synchronization between my meter input and the analogue output.  There was a difference of impedance when I connected my unit of counting photons to my USB-6211.  This caused an error variable count rate.  After accouting for this shift, the problem disappeared.

• Vista is not responding

  After installing an update from MS my computer kept displaying the message configuration step 3 of 3. It would take a few minutes and shut down, restart, and the same message appeared. It is about six times then I tried to log on in safe mode and couldn't. Finally, I got a dialog box that has given me an option to restore to an earlier date. I did and now I get nothing. My computer is a Toshiba laptop and when I boot I can click on F2 or F12. F12 gives me the dialog box with several options. You to search computer error reset to an earlier date, etc. I tried all except install the Toshiba restore disk that would eliminate all my files and programs. I don't know if the disc contains MS Vista. MFG who install windows should also include a recovery for windows disc when you buy the computer.

  2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

  3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

  Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator program

   

  Toshiba Recovery:

  To access the recovery partition Toshiba, powering the laptop. Press 0 (zero) key and turn on the laptop. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo, which is where you should start to type the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the device emits a sound signal or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should light up * MODE of RECOVERY of HARD drive * for a fraction of a second, and then load the Toshiba Recovery program directly from the hard drive.

  Note that this clears all data and reload all the software factory default. Be sure to back up all your important personal data beforehand!
