  The current versions of Illustrator can cut anchor selected (many) points (see the scissors button in the control panel) as well as some segments/inking of join (multiple) selected (see object > path > Join).

  There are other ways as well.

  1 re-installing/repairing software will not fix hardware issues.

  2. the operating system upgrade is not the way to solve computer problems that can be carried forward.

  When it is over an unselected path or shape (as in, something that you can select if you click right here), it shows a black box. When you're not selected anchor, it shows a white box.

  Hi all. I had a few problems of fonts with Microsoft Excel on my mac earlier today and has messed around with the fonts, essentially moving them from one folder to another, remove duplicates, etc.

  I must admit at this point that I am no Mac expert and I wouldn't do things the way of trial and error. and I can do something that I would that my CC I start now.

  I can't undo what I did as I don't remember what I was doing, and Time Machine isn't any help.

  I can not reinstall the CC because I did not setup and now Adobe won't let me not download again as apparently my OS is supposed to be out of date, even if it still meets the requirements minimum (OSX10.6.8) said.

  I just downloaded CS3 of ProDesignTools & installed on my new Mac with serial number original when I made the purchase.  When you start the installation process where you can choose which programs to install, CS3 Illustrator is grayed out with a message for the side saying, "instsalled."  Before you download the whole CS3, I tried to download Illustrator since this is the program I need in the immediate future.  Obviously, my serial number has not worked because it matches the entire Suite CS3 and Illustrator not only.  I thought I had deleted (the old Illustrator file) my computer but I don't know why he always tells me that I have already installed.

  I don't know why Illustrator (Mac) does not offer an Apple chart rather than the style of Windows.  I like the simplicity of the wheel of colors, pencils, the image selector and all the other ways the apple color chart gives me to retrieve and store the color choices.
