  1. go to a computer and go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID and password.

  2. go find iPhone and all devices at the top, click on your iPhone.

  3. click on lost Mode and put in a phone number where you can be reached.

  4. click Next, then enter a message that says something along the lines, "Please find my iPhone, please call this number to return."

  5. click on done

  I hope to trade in my old iPhone 5 (I currently use a 5s) either finance or credit of the store to an iPhone SE.

  However, the situation with my iPhone 5 is complicated.

  • It was bought by my father's business (I used to work there).
  • It is carrier locked to Vodafone (UK network), but I currently reside in Chicago.
  • When I got my 5s I'm from carrier, but kept my old number - so I did not have a Vodafone SIM.
  • My brother used my 5 for awhile. He gave me back restored to factory settings.
  • I can not set up because I do not have a Vodafone SIM.

  In these circumstances, may I take it to an Apple Store to trade it?
