  I hope that I'm not the only person having problems with this. Just start with the month of June, then July, then August.

  P.S. I have 2 laptops running XP sp3, one is 9 years old and the other is 11 years old, he had 2000 top PRO, but I just put XP sp3 on it last month. They run too much like fields. I take good care of my computers with a little help from my friend IT. They have the same programs as this one and I do the same things to them, but they do not have this same problem with the release of the MSRT tool. Which leads me to think that it is specific to Vista only, I have a Windows 7 computer yet, so I can't speak for seven.

  It would greatly depend on the application you're using.  The reasoning is simple: just as with the iPhone (or an Android device) - you cannot have the same shortcuts in all applications it can mean something totally different (not just by words, but may lead to a different action in one application over another.)

  The things you ask for would do much better in a program like first of video editing. After Effects is not a video editing program. Bringing together videos and their succession change much more than the first.

  After Effects is a compositing and motion graphics program. Composition is when you put things together, like an explosion behind a player or a person on a greenscreen in a new environment. That's what the AE is for. Well, that and it is the #1 tool to create animated graphics.

  I want to make a really long exposure using my Canon 40 d DSLR.  If I just put the camera to bulb and take a long exposure, I get a lot of noise which eventually destroys the image.  I understand that you can get the equivalent of a long exposure by combining several shorter exposures (many?) of the same scene.  This is commonly done in astrophotography and other areas, but I don't know how to do it.  I tried Googling some of the terms, but I guess that I did not use the terminology just because the search did not turn up until I wanted to.

  Is it possible in Photoshop, or do I need another tool to achieve this?

  I use CS6 on a Mac Mini with os x 10.8.4.
