  Restart your system and if the problem persists, try another keyboard. If it works now, your keyboard is sloppy.

  The brand of my laptop is Acer
  The product name is Esxtensa 5220.
  My Windows system is Ultimate(64Bit) 7

  I haven't installed a keyboard/mouse driver software when I installed Windows 7 because when I looked on the official website of Acer, I found no drivers keyboard and mouse for Windows 7(64Bit). Thus, Windows 7 was installed their automcatically just at the moment where it was installed. I didn't install any software dirver keyboard and mouse at all.

  I really see that my keyboard does not work well by tapping it. Sometimes I see another letter is typed though I haven't typed it.  In addition, the pointer of the mouse jumps sometimes to another location in the text box (for this text box for this forum) while typing which results in the insertion of letters in another place, other than what I want that they should be inserted.
  I don't know what it is, but I will say.
  When you type 't', so I sometimes see that another letter is typed rather instead. Also, sometimes while typing in the text box, a text, I found that the mouse pointer jumps to be placed in the middle or from the text, if the letters are written in the other place, other than I want to be they.

  So, is there a driver or a program associated with it for keyboard should be installed?

  I tried install driver TougchPad of Snyaptic, which is specific for laptop HP Clubhouse anthter of my friends, so I'm satisied with the result, I've found so far, but the mouse has been updated only. In addition, I don't know if it's OK or it is some problems might occur in the future with driver not designed for Acer laptop.

  

  However, the keyboard is still with the driver of the lunch Manager.

  PS: I think that there is something bad goes with the download of the images through this forum, so I think that admins should find a sloution.

  Hi, thanks for the response. I have a keyboard and shortcuts will turn off. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I did run by pressing Windows key + LeftShift. I did a few tests now and there is something to deal with the Windows key + Fn (dell laptop). After pressing that firefox combinations see keyboard. WinKey + LeftShift operate again. Thanks anyway!

• Keyboard does not work on my T650-1MC Satellite

  Keyboard does not work no more at all. Instead of this, continuously + is typed in a text field (or insert permanently, if NUMLOCK is turned off). A USB keyboard works very well (keys CAPSLOCK on the USB keyboard allows to activate the light on the laptop keyboard), but the continuous + s persist.

  ALT + tab does not work, and clicking on stacked items on the system tray or. Windows just appear and disappear again.

  The touchpad works always intended to lead the mouse around, but the "tap to click on ' and 'slide your finger on the edge of the mouse wheel' functions no longer work.

  This model of laptop is not known to me, but after reading your ad I think the keyboard is defective and must be replaced. I mean what else you can do about it.

  Try to get the new keyboard and replace it. After that it all will again be OK.

  I've recently updated the BIOS to version 1.60 on my PSC0LE C660-02300JEN (1 year) and the keyboard doesn't work well at all and sometimes stops working completely, making it unusable (I write on an external USB keyboard.).

  There was a recurring problem, a few months before I updated the BIOS with the strike being delayed or does not respond, sometimes when you type, but for the most part, it still worked.

  So I've updated the BIOS, as suggested, and I get the following problems:

  The space bar is either not responding or when you press + 2 written or +++ again and again until I stop it by pressing the SPACEBAR again.

  None of the numbers works.

  Sometimes the entire keyboard no longer works and none of the keys of a reaction.

  I tried solutions:

  Remove the battery.

  cleaning the keyboard to get whatever it is dislodged out under the keys.

  Reinstall the version 1.60 of the BIOS.

  I'm not sure what to do next and really appreciate the advice and help before I try to get the keyboard replaced. It would be nice to get an opinion before I gain for a fix.

  Hello world. I hope someone can help... my laptop has suddenly decided to some how turn off the keyboard. No key does not work. The touchpad mouse seems to work very well. Started once w7, a lot of windows boxes flickers between them. Command prompts to do the same thing and I cannot click on any admin agrees with the cursor ect.

  Contact Toshiba service, let them swap keyboard and clean your laptop. OK it's a bit chilly but you'll well workbook again.

  I have a combination and connected mouse microsoft wireless keyboard to my laptop.  The mouse recently 'died' and replace the batteries with new Energizer batteries did not help.  I bought a new Logitech mouse and installed the new USB connector and the mouse worked flawlessly.  However, the wireless keyboard does not work now.  If I reinstall the 'old' or the original USB, the wireless keyboard connector works fine.  The new mouse does not work with the original USB connector.  So now I have two USB connectors that are connected to the computer to make the functional keyboard and mouse.  Is there a solution to eliminate one of the USB connectors?  I realize that the brand of the mouse and keyboard are different.  This is the problem and if so can it be fixed?

  Well, you answered your question yourself. They are different products, so you need 2 USB receivers.

  The alternative is to get a replacement of microsoft mouse if it is still under warranty, they usually do.

  Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

  Method 1: Yes, you can open the mouse and clean it to remove any dirt inside.

  Method 2: you can download and install the drivers for the mouse on the manufacturer's Web site and see if the problem is resolved.

  I would like to use the repair feature in Windows XP Professional Recovery Console when starting Onboard or USB CD-ROM drive.  My keyboard works very well to enable F12 and select boot device.  Windows Setup starts and then loads bunch of pilots - looking... but then my keyboard won't work for select 'R' to start the Recovery Console repair.  All this started because I uninstalled a Lexmark printer and it seems that the driver Lexmark LXBTtime.dll lack now but still wants Windows to start.   So now Config\System will not load.  I saw some threads in this forum recommend that my wireless keyboard does not work - so I borrowed a USB wired keyboard - but still the same problem.  Cannot select 'R' - the keyboard light turns off and of course not recognised by Windows Setup.  Any ideas or suggestions?  In addition to the purchase of a MAC (it was my suggestion of neighbors :-)   Thanks for the review!
