my laptop (running xp) has lost the ability to connect to wireless. I can't find anything in "network connections" and have lost the icon wireless from the taskbar.

I have a home wireless modem, and before that, it was working fine.

Rufnek salvation,

Thanks for posting. First, check your computer and see if there is a switch wireless on this subject. Many times there is a switch on the PC to activate the wireless market. If your PC lacks such a change go to the website of OEM and reinstalling the latest drivers for your PC wireless.

I hope this helps! Shawn - Support Engineer - MCP, MCDST
