  I just bought the 1 year paid in advance with all Adobe Adobe Creative Cloud applications. But when I downloaded it, it said "unable to reach the Adobe servers.   Please make sure that there is no Proxy setting on your network and also check that you are logged into admin and not as mobile admin. You can also try to connect the MAC to a Wi - Fi network to different/open or Mobile Hotspot and disable all antivirus on MAC titles and try to check if the creative cloud app works.

  Please disable any firewall or Antivirus for now and try to activate Acrobat again.

  Ask for the Code is generated when you click on "Generate Code button Request" (see the Screenshot). Did you follow the link provided by Ana Maria? You see the screen below while activating offline mode?

  Before writing this, I took the time to research online, but no luck.

  I decided to buy the photographers CC package. downloaded the installer and moved forward with the installation, allowing to connect my Adobe ID and got the error:

  "Download error! Impossible to reach on the adobe servers. Check your internet connection, firewall settings, and then try again. »

  
  

  I don't use any antivirus or firewall, and there is no redirection port to my internet connection.

  
  

  The software has been installed in a Mac Pro 2012, running the Mavericks 10.9.5. I completely uninstalled Installer used a CC cleaner App. Also went under the ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Preferences moved these .plists for another clean installation but without success.

  Thanks for the link, but it was driving me nuts and takes me too long to understand. So, I saved all my work and formatted my hard drive with a new installation of Mac OS x.

  That solved the problem.

  Select Preferences - network - system - advanced - DNS network - click + symbol - Type 8.8.8.8 - Ok - apply.
