My MAC continues to need the Setup disk whenever I start Thunderbird.
The installation disc is located on my desktop. If I try to remove it if Thunderbird is open, I get the message that it is in use. If I close Thunderbird and remove the disk installation, and then when I reopen it, I am asked to re - install. Should I just uninstall and reinstall to see if it works better?
OK, I solved it. The image of Thunderbird on the dock had been copied from the installer rather than the apps folder.

original title: AiOSoftwareNPI
I'm having a problem with a software AiOSoftwareNPI problem (* .ms) the Setup program does not start when I start my computer.
I know it's a Windows Installer but I don't have a disc with this route. I even tried to reinstall the windows xp disk and it does not work, I still
get the same box when I shutdown and restart. The box allows me not to leave him continues to appear.
Thank you
Ms. C
After doing a Google search for AiOSoftwareNPI and followed by the reading of many different threads in various forums, I found that it is for drivers for an HP all-in-One printer.
You have an HP printer?
If so, the usual suggestion was to place your HP printer disk in your CD/DVD drive and restart. After reboot would be installed the necessary files and the pop - up would more appear at startup. I don't know if it will actually work because in all the discussions I've read, none of the original poster never responded by saying that it worked or not.
The next most common suggest was to download the latest driver for your HP printer to your version of Windows (including at the level of the ILO) and install it. Yet, not a single original poster has responded.
In fact, if you have an HP printer I suggest to visit the web site of HP support below the link to get the latest drivers and their installation. Visit the support for the correct installation method and if you need to remove the old driver first. You can also visit the communities of Support HP for assistance (a link for communities is also on the next page).

I have windows xp service pack 3 and internet explorer 7
Hi dollarsfor6,
Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.
In most cases if the games are deleted from the computer files will remain on the computer.
I suggest that you are looking for game files in the system32 folder.
Click on Start menu later click on run and type c:\\windows\system32 in the following search of the window for the file of games like free cell. If you get the files in the system32 folder then copy the file to c:\\program files\start menu\ later in the game folder.
If fails it above step, try a system restore to the point when the game was available on the computer.
See the link below to learn how to perform the system restore.

Installation of XP is no longer recognized by the Setup disk after Format of Partition
Hey all,.
In short, my problem is that I have an installation of XP (home or professional) intact windows, but after deleting another partition, the computer does not start to it. My question is what are all the things needed for a computer can be started on the windows partition - even just to the loading screen (which files are needed on the partition, for example boot.ini file, which must be in the MBR, how to mark a partition as bootable; etc.). Here is a description of exactly what has happened and what is the current situation:
I was working on a friend's computer, and he asked me to delete the partition that it has not been used (D) and melt in his primary partition (C) where was the installation of Windows. I used a program called Easeus to format the partition for Windows let me to merge. The program asks for a restart, and then it is initialized to a screen where he deleted the partition, then restarted once again, probably to load Windows.
That's where the trouble starts. Instead of windows, I have nothing else than a cursor flashing ("_") in the upper left of the screen. After 60 seconds, nothing was. I rebooted a couple of times, still no windows.
The first thing I tried was to throw the disc to reinstall the window. I got to the screen configuration and supported on entry to choose a windows installation to repair, however he could not find one on the drive C (or D). I then tried to install Windows on drive D, hoping at least to be able to access the files on your computer with a parallel installation and then clean things later, but the installation struck a BSOD (sorry I don't have the message). The last thing I tried using the recovery console, but the only one installation of Windows that he found was on the D drive (I guess it was the remains of the failed installation that I had tried just because it contained only a few system files).
So I still need an operating system to access the files on the C drive, so I did an installation of Fedora Linux (on a small new partition in drive D). I could check on the files and they were all intact, including the Windows system files. I could not find anything wrong with the partition, except for the apparent absence of a file boot.ini on drive C. I tried to add a boot.ini file by default (even though I wasn't sure exactly what should be in it). I can only assume that when my friend had the computer built with partition by a local technology company, they did the D drive partition bootable, but put the Windows files on the C drive. It makes no sense, but I can't find any other reason format another partition that windows would make it unbootable.
The problem is, now, I have GRUB installed to Fedora. GRUB cannot boot directly on Windows, so he has to begin on an another bootloader that can. I think I have GRUB pointing to the right partition, but I get an error message. So, what I want to know from a point of view of Windows is everything necessary for a successful boot, assuming I can get GRUB to work on his end. What should a healthy Windows boot look - exactly, what should happen?
The other option, of course, must do a fresh install of Windows on drive C (and hope for no BSOD more). I could put all the files on the partition of Fedora and move them back after the relocation. So what you think - is it worth a try even to save the current installation of Windows?
Feel free to ask questions or for clarification. I have a limited capacity to test things, I have to wait until I can get to his computer. Your help is very appreciated!

I recently built a computer, and it was working fine the first week I got it. Recently however, whenever I start a game or a program such as Netflix or even simply get on the internet it is like I hit alt + tab and takes me in my office. I thought it might be a virus or malware but when I scanned my computer it was a virus that can detect my software and I deleted all the malware that was found. When it does work, I asked a friend about it and he thought that the problem was the key to windows on my keyboard. I had been using, I unplugged the keyboard started a game and he seemed fine, but I put a new keyboard in there today and the problem has started again. I have no idea what could be causing this and I need to know if it's a simple solution or if I should consider a professional and ask them to look at?
Hello
What is happening with a particular game or all games?
Restart and start typing the F8 key to display the logo of the manufacturer
Select Mode safe mode with networking
Download the following and run a full scan. If your system has been compromised, the av software may not able to detect the virus/malware.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Reboot and let Windows load when finished
You use Internet Explorer?
Tools > manage add-ons
Disable all add-ons
Start the game to determine if she plays with disabled modules. If he plays accordingly, then re-enable modules one by one to determine which can cause the problem. Remove/disable the add-on.
Question: Have you checked the overheating problem when playing the game?

Whenever I run Thunderbird, I get the "System Integration" notification area even if the option "Always perform this check at startup of Thunderbird" is NOT checked. Please, let me also be clear, I DON'T want integration system. Therefore, I unchecked all boxes that are not grayed out and selected 'Skip Integration', since there is not a box for "don't fit". Can someone tell me please how to stop this aggravating box continue to appear, without integrating Thunderbird or use a different e-mail client.
I am running: operating system: Windows 10 Thunderbird homepage: 45.5.0
You have another installed e-mail client/program? If this isn't the case, then why not let Thunderbird to be your default e-mail client/program? 'Systems integration' means that he will say that any attempt in Windows to send an e-mail to trigger Thunderbird Windows.
If you do want another program to be the default e-mail program, then try this.
First of all, make sure that the other e-mail program is configured to be the default e-mail program in Windows:
Open Windows Action Center (click the icon in the lower right corner of your screen, which is to the right of the digital clock). Click on "System", then "Default apps" on the right side. Under "Choose default apps" on the side right, click the e-mail program and change it to your preferred e-mail program.
Now in Thunderbird: Thunderbird menu: Options: Advanced: general tab: click "check now".
Uncheck the box E-mail and Newsgroups (or that you can and want to deselect), and then click "Set as default", which means only 'OK' or 'Apply' in this environment. (See image).
Then it must not appear again.
This solution was causing this issue .

I am able to use it in Windows safe mode but that is awkward. My computer works fine in normal mode as long as I do not open Thunderbird. Is it possible to go back to the old configuration of Thunderbird. I love the program but it is not very good like that. I tried running Thunderbird in its safe mode by pressing the SHIFT key, when I started to Thunderbird, but it came not in safe mode and the computer froze.

I had this problem too. He has not happened since I disabled the new message alerts (not only sounds, but the popup and tray icon). It was freezing at startup only when there are new messages so he could get when I started upward. At least one of the freezes have shown the popup in part drawn on the screen, until all of the computer does not meet all, but hold the power button.
rcharlie, I think your problem is different. I helped someone a few hours ago with similar symptoms where helped to disable alerts. And then, we determined that alerts could be activated IF we have disabled hardware acceleration to tools | options | Advanced | in general.
rcharlie, what it do work for you?
Yes. Or rather, the test message, I sent with hardware accel disabled and alert activated has not crashed the computer. Will update if it crashes again.

Recently, I bought an IBM Net Vista original case, a site auction like eBay, but for my country (Serbia). It came with a sticker with a windows XP Professional license print top (with all holograms too, so I think this is authentic). All components in this case are mine (MB, CPU, GPU, RAM...), and I don't have an original Win XP Pro Installation CD. Can I use this license number? If so, how to get a copy of the installation disc?

I don't think that there is available Adobe activation server to activate the version Pro 6.
However, you can install the version Pro 7 and make sure you use the serial number that is mentioned on the Web site to activate the application successfully.
