My network card doesn't work! (Broadcom Code 10)

Hello world

It turns out that my Dell XPS M1530 laptop caught a virus, so to solve this problem I reinstalled Windows (Vista Home Premium) and so all my files, drivers, and software have all been removed. I have re-installed almost everything I need, except for one vital thing. The wireless network adapter.

I used all the network drivers on my disk Driver of Dell and none of them have seemed to work, luckily I have a spare computer so I can ask you all this and I have looked everywhere on the internet download driver, none of them have worked. I looked around and it seems to be a common problem when people advance ' OS and I suppose I was in the same situation, but some drivers seem to work!

Someone at - it give me advice or download links to help me then that would be great. Thank you

Additional information: Brodcom 802.11n Network Adapter

Status of the device: this device cannot start (Code 10)

Service: BCM43X

RESOLVED:

I have an Inspiron 1720 with the same problem after reinstalling Vista Home Premium... code 10... wireless adapter cannot start.

Device Manager showed "Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter.

Details of the pilot showed a Microsoft Driver with an older date. I think the version is 4.82.28.56

PROBLEM: This is not the correct driver! You need a driver for Dell... not one driver MS! The default MS driver has been installed.

I found a file with the driver suitable for C:\drivers\network\R151522 on my hard drive.

I used the 'Update Driver' option Device Manager and pointing this folder... success!

Device Manager displays now "Dell Wireless 1505 draft 802.11n WLAN Mini Card" under network adapters. I can see my wireless network!

Note: The file may have been created while I was with the "Utilities" CD during my recovery.

Good luck to all

    > Also may try to reinstall the drivers that appear in this web site, appear here the Atheros drivers your need of portable.

Your computer laptop doesn t support card Atheros, but card Realtek WLan.

    > In Device Manager, everything is ok, but I can't connect.
As you say the WLan card is recognized correctly, but you can't connect.
    Why?

I m do not know why, but you should check first if your WLan router uses the same standard WLan (802.11 A, B or G) as the WLan card.
    Check the settings!

Then check if the right WLan encryption has been selected, check if the Mac address was not enabled, check if the firewall doesn t affect the WLan connectivity.

  • Satellite M100 - driver for network card does not work

    Hello

I have a problem with my Satellite M100. I downloaded all the drivers from the Toshiba Web site but for the network card, I can't find it works well!
Tried to download from the site Intel, as suggested by the other mailing list, but still can not work well!

Can order us a recovery disk with all the drivers for a specific series/model (i.e., Satellite M100)?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

You have yellow excalamation marks in Device Manager?
Normally, if you search on the Toshiba site for your model of laptop you will get a list of the different drivers and then you download the LAN driver.
Also, do you mean the network card or wireless network adapter?

Also, check the number of vendor as Akuma said.
On this site, you can enter the vendor ID number and device. After that, you can find the right driver.

Any suggestions what to try next? Any help much appreciated...

    Hi Ian

    Thanks for this info.
From time to time my WLan don't work properly.
Usually the laptop WLan should automatically connect after the machine started upward.
But sometimes it does not connect.

    In my case, the solution was simply;
I update the list of available WLan s in order to establish the WiFi connection.
    In most cases, it helps.

  • HP Pavilion 9500: Supported wireless card doesn't work is not in Windows 10

I just bought a new card WiFi Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 to my PC HP Pavilion 9500/entertainment because the original a (WiFi Link 4965AGN) is no longer supported on Windows 10. I have the Driver IRQL NOT LESS or EQUAL (Netwlv.64.sys) BSOD a few times a day.  According to Intel, the Ultimate_N 6500 is a supported card, but once I installed it, it will fail to start; He told me that my network card is not taken in charge and remove it please.

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!!

Then, you will need to return the o/s supported to ensure that the equipment works as I have said, you use what works for her, not what you want. What you want and what works are the two different side of the same coin.

I guess the easy option would be the easiest route to take. I wasn't going for simple, I expected a little more creative way to solve this problem; workaround to allow W10 supports my original legacy wireless card or a way to remove the restrictions on the white list by HP to enable my new card.   It seems that this is not the right forum for this.

  • Wireless card doesn't work after Windows Update

I have a Compaq Presario F730US with Vista. I have installed Windows Mobile Device Center on it, and the computer has stopped recognizing wireless card. Then, after trying to restore the original drivers and do several other things, I have done restore the computer originally installed at the factory.  The wireless worked well.  However, as soon as I updated all Microsoft Updates and before installing Windows Mobile Device, the wireless card no longer works again.  I restored the drivers, and it worked the first time.  Then a few other updates came through, and I can't get working again.  Any suggestions?  It's a Broadcom Wireless card. I saw that a gentleman has been upgraded for its presario to Windows 7 and had the same problem on another post and never had resolution.

The normal rule is to never accept update from Windows update device driver.

  • Satellite P100-429 - new wireless network card does not work

    Hello

    I just upgraded my home network to the draft of the standard "n" and thought that I would upgrade my wireless card on my laptop P100-429;
Laptop is under Vista Home Premium and has the latest version of BIOS and drivers installed.

Laptop currently has an equipped Intel 3945ABG card that works very well. I bought an Intel 4965AGN card but when I enter it, the powers of computer to top, but wont load (lights, fan-nothing else)

Okay - so I read on some forums, could be a bad card, so I bought a brand Toshiba 4965AGN card - P/N G86C0002P710
Still having the same problem - the computer refuses to start. Intel technical support say the card should work?
Obviously is a compatibility problem - what can I do about it?

Or did someone knows what kind of card I should use?

    Thanks for your help!

I m not a Satellite P100 owner but is your laptop equipped with 3 antennas or only 2?
If your laptop has only 2 antennas t, you can pass it to N project because this WiFi standard needs of 3 antennas.

I think that your laptop has only 2 antennas, so that would be the reason why the two cards are not compatible to your laptop.

    Welcome them
