• Realtek High Defination Audio speakers is not plugged in, no sound in Windows

  Hi guys.

  I got my PC for about 2 years now, and all of a sudden my audio stopped working. When I go to manage my audio devices in the Control Panel, it says "realtek high definition audio speakers are not connected. I use the onboard sound on the motherboard Asus Maximus V extreme.

  Therefore, the realtek digital output has been selected automatically. I since changed it NVIDIA high definition audio digital output - so that sound for now plays on my speakers monitors via the HDMI cable.

  I tried my speakers on an MP3 player and they work no - including the cable, so the speakers and cable are not a problem.

  I tried to restore the pc to a time where noise - WORKS DO not STILL working.

  Downloaded the latest drivers Realtek and installed - DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK.

  Deleted the latest drivers and install them from the CD of motherboard drivers - DOES NOT ALWAYS WORK.

  I disabled all audio devices, hoping that speakers will then - DO WORKS not ALWAYS. Help, please...

  Mute the button on my hp pavilion laptop dv4 1551dx is permanently red and the sound will not come out of my speakers.   Just got my new laptop: * SATELLITE C55D-A-15 H *.

  It's like an old 1960s transistor radio.

  I'm a relatively new Blackberry owner.  I have "BOLD" for the last two months and it's been great. One of the things that impressed me at first was the quality of the sound from the internal speakers.  Everything worked well for the first few weeks.   At the moment I have with the lid not clicked in all above.  In this position the speakers sound fantastic, but the rear could in a click at any time and silent sound again.  Obviously not a good long-term fix.   Wow, this is one weird, never heard talk about this problem before. If you have insurance for your phone, go to the store and get a new one, this is what I would do or you can use your warranty with blackberry and get a new one on their part. I know this isn't much help, but why bother with a different battery cover when you can probably get a new phone. If you decide to go with the new battery cover reply back and let us know if the problem is resolved.

  I have satelite M100 PSMAAA-02006 with XP. I just updated the Bios on V3.0. Speakers do not work after update but the audio jack works so with headphones I can listen to but not through Laptop speakers and the keys to media on top of keyboard play, pause, stop, next, back, etc. homepage react too much.

  Normally you can hear the sound on the speakers laptop if you disconnect the headset. Make sure that the sound is not muted, you can do this with the FN + ESC key combination.

  About the multimedia keys, I would recommend reinstallation of Toshiba common Modules. You can find it on the Toshiba site.

  You are absolutely right. S manual said that the internal speakers will be disabled automatically and this information is just. Audio contains a small switch that turn off the internal speakers if the audio input is in use.

  I guess this little switch is defective. Unfortunately it can be fixed on your own. Just service partner can check correctly. I'm sure that the warranty is still valid. Call them and explain the problem.

• Bass is not good enough on my Satellite A110-293

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A110 - 293 Notebook. There is a problem with the audio for laptop, the sound seems to lack Bass. When I play a music file, the bass is abnormal, there is no bass or bass is not clear. The laptop fitted with a Realtek HD Audio device and there the SRS technology, and it suppose to have a rich acoustic bass, bass suppose to be richer as a normal bass sound produced from a normal PC without SRS technology, but even there is no normal low in my book.

  I adjusted the levels in virtual audio software Toshiba (SRS), I tried all the different configurations and I've adjusted at all levels, but still have the same problem, and even when I turn off Toshiba virtual sound software and I have the same problem. I tried media with their value default or modified diffusers graphic equalizer, but it has not solved the problem.

  I use the PC Works 2.1 Creative speakers and even with the adjusted maximum bass, there is no low clear, there is nothing wrong with the speakers because I've tested on another PC and they work no doubt, I also tried different types of speakers on the laptop but the problem still exists.

  The laptop is equipped with Windows XP Home Edition, I reinstalled Windows using the recovery media, but still the same. I downloaded the audio driver for my laptop from Toshiba Web site and updated audio driver.
