  I would like to allow you to print to your Officejet J4580. Please, first run printing HP and doctor Scan and let me know the results. You will see a key, a yellow exclamation point, a red X, or a checkbox then each point tested.

  I read your post on how your Officejet J4580 is no longer fax or make copies, and I wanted to respond to try to help you! I would say that these symptoms sound to me like there could be a failure of scan. Please try the steps from the link I posted for you below and then try to copy, fax and scan the image.

  The installation process is probably a failure at one point causing an incomplete installation. Have you tried to do a complete uninstall and reinstall process? If you have any software virus protection try disabling the installation just to limit background probably interfere the installation process applications.

• OfficeJet J4580: Sudden onset problem Officejet J4580 Windows 10

  This is a new issue. I had loaded the right drivers/software from the HP website for the J4580 for this laptop while he was windows8 and following the upgrade to windows 10. Everything worked fine - until a recent date. There was an update of Windows 10 recently and that could have triggered the question - I'm not sure.

  I uninstalled (several times now) and reinstalled the software. I read more of the matter concerning the update of windows and KB3133431 security like the fix. This has been uploaded successfully. Also, I followed the instructions on uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash. I also followed (to the letter) the "(instructions de Solutions pour installer erreurs Windows 8 et 8.1) at HP as a result of the fatal errors when trying to install the software."

  When I disabled the normal startup in the configuration utility... I could go as far as the 2/6 configuration where, on several occasions, the installation fails. Any suggestions?

  We are sorry to hear that the issue is not resolved.

  The files (updates and printer) probably got shredded for the Microsoft updates and uninstall/reinstall printer.

  If reinstall Win 10 is an option, it's worth it (keep in mind the Microsoft updates could cause failures as well).

  How long have you owned this printer? Maybe it's a sign that it's time for an upgrade?

  Also, if you have another PC you can try to connect the printer, that would meet your (minimal) printing needs?  (if the upgrade is not an option and you print at least)

  Printer goes offline intermittently. Some pages are printed, and then it stops and I get error messages that there is no connection between the computer and the printer. I rebooted, check the updates of pilot, checked the cables and reinstalled (attempted) using a newly purchased HP disc. The cable is connected and the usb port works as I tried the other cable to be tested. The unit is plugged. Both devices are turned on. I get screens to print the test page; says it's printing, but nothing is being printed. On the page of the printer and devices, the device presents itself as printer and fax.

  It is a connected desktop computer, printer to the computer, without looking for wireless printing. My ISP is Comcast.

• The computers on the LAN cannot print on old HP Officejet j5780 printer.

  HP Pavilion hpe h8 - 1360t 64 - bit, OS Windows 7 Home Premium. Old LAN had computer of Windows Vista 32 - bit OS and computer from Windows Vista 32 - bit OS with the USB printer connected to it. I was able to print on both computers. I bought the computer HP has declared earlier and installed in place of the original. The drivers for the USB Officejet j5780 printer have been updated to 64-bit and works very well with the new computer. The old 32-bit computer connected to the LAN does not print. Both computers recognize the LAN and connected devices. When printing is attempted on the old computer, the print job is sent without error, but does not appear on the computer, this printer is connected to. I created the LAN with Windows network and sharing.

I discovered in a document of Windoows is you have this problem with computers with different operating systems on the same LAN-in my case vista and windows 7 - change users under the same name on all computers. I did it and my two computers can share files and folders and print.

  Follow the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.

  Now, try to reinstall the HP software and check if the installation goes as planned.

  If the problem persists, continue following the steps below:

• problem with the color picker tool

  Hi there we use Fireworks CS3 and seem to have problems with the color picker tool.
  
  When we hover over a color and select it, we do not get the same color. Sometimes, we choose a blue color and it translates into a green.

• OfficeJet J4580 error on black print cartridge

  I have an OfficeJet J4580 AIO Printer. The error that says "Print Cartridge problem: [Tri-Color] refer to device documentation to troubleshoot."

  It wont let me not align cartridges or run any type of installation. Is he just saying that he needs a color cartridge? Why not say that?
