Restore point:

http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

I have the original CD and the product key. How many computers can I install Windows XP Home Edition?

You can install it as many times as you want, but the product key is activated on a computer at one time only.

If you have 2 computers, 2 keys are needed.

  • How can I clean install Win 7 Pro on a series of 330 intel SSD using a Sony Vaio laptop as the source. I have the original disc and the authorization only

My Office HARD drive had a fatal accident and poster now under vacuum. It was a disk of 1 TB with Win 7 Pro upgrade to Win 8 Pro.I have records of origin 32 and 64 bit OS and wish to install the OS on a SSD using the optical drive on my Sony Vaio, which will become then the boot drive in my office.

    [Moved from comments]

You must do the installation on the desktop. You can not install windows on the disk into a computer and then move the disk to another computer and do work. When installation is complete, it reads information from the BIOS of the computer, on which it is installed and when you put the disc in another computer that Windows does not find the information used during the installation.

You will need to put the new drive in the desktop, install Windows 7 on it, then upgrade to Windows 7 to Windows 8 again.

    Original image: width = 2 height = 1

    Image mask: 6 140 220

    Hi balasubramanians32220056,

You can change the images in the acrobat application, edit images or objects in a PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC file. However, for the original image processing & the image of the mask, you will need application like Adobe Photoshop image processing.

  • In Photos, I changed the date, title and information on the location of the images of a slide digitizing company.  I want to preserve the custom metadata and the original resolution of 2500 dpi in a file backup, but when I export it loses my metadata chan

Using version 1.3 of Photos, I edited the metadata about the images, I received a business of digitization of slides to insert the first day of the slide, the location, a title and a keyword.  I want to archive these images with the original resolution of 2500 dpi, but when I export original unmodified, it does not preserve information.  When I export by choosing export as XMP IPTC, I can't read the XMP file to see if there are my revisions.

When I export using the 'Export # photo (s)' choice, I can use the previews/tools/Inspector/iptc and see my changes.  But this photo has only 72 dpi.

Is there a way to preserve this modification of metadata information in the original not modified?  Alternatively, this file has XMP I exported the info?  If so, how can I read it?  And that would mean I need to export both the original unmodified and the XMP file to my files from archive?

Don't know what you want - well there is a CIO field in the EXIF fields it is meaningless as DPI is not a setting but the result of a math problem third grade - points by (divided by) inches until you add inches per impression you have no IPR - and when you add inches the DPI for printing are determined by calculating not by any setting

    For more information, see http://www.rideau-info.com/photos/mythdpi.html

A 1200 x 1800 pixels picture printed as a 4'x 6' printing is 300 DPI bit matter what setting the EXIF says

  • The difference between the original amount and amount in the Trial Balance remaining account Payables

    Hello

I ran the report account of Balance of accounts payable using model checking "Accounts Payables Trial Balance - account group. When I open the report, I discovered that the balance and the initial amount is not always equal. Can someone tell me what is the difference between the original amount and the remaining amount in the report? Thank you very much.

    Kind regards

    Juanluis

Initial amount is the amount of the actual Bill.

Amount remaining is the amount of the remaining balance invoice to pay.

  • Keep .dng 'original version' AND fitted... or just go back to the default values of CR for condition "original"?

As with everyone, my needs of file space is growing rapidly.  So, fmy workflow, from my camera or I intend to keep the .jpg and .cr2 (Canon) converted .dng as my 'original' files (and then discharge the .cr2).  I'm then take the .dng in camera raw and create a .psd to work on.  This .psd would become the finished product I'll which keeps along the version of it .tiff and .jpg w/a. (Total of 5 files)

Initially, I was going to keep both the original .dng AND the .dng after setting in Camera Raw (except w / IS hosted in Bridge)- but in the interest of some clutter I thought I could save rather only the .dng adjusted.

In this way I would have saved my settings, but if I ever wanted to "start from scratch", or try another round for file treatment, I could just make a copy of the adjusted .dng and reset everything to 'default' in Camera Raw to make the file (I think...) just as it was right after the .cr2-> .dng conversion.

Is there a major/critical flaw in this plan?  I don't want to start doing this and then later discover 1,000 images that I forgot something I shouldn't.

Well, you know that Camera Raw has the ability to store snapshots, right? So when you are finished with an image, you can save a snapshot, so you can keep a record of the settings of the image. You could then also be a snapshot of the "Defaults" Camera Raw will in essence be what you set as the default for your camera...

But no, as long as you are sure that you will _NEVER_ need to use the camera raw processing software makers, recording on a DNG with your shots must not present a technical problem on the road...

Except perhaps that this continues to get better and better so your PSD stuff was perhaps advanced given the treatment of today, the next version of Camera Raw may be able to produce better results. You are under no obligation to reprocess your images once you are done with them, but good to know you can if you wish...

  • Install a new hard drive and Windows 7 loading no settings are changed on the mother board or bios installation? :

I have a desktop Dell-540 in which my c drive is a Raid 1 configuration of 1 TB (two disks to not up to 1 TB, Raid 0, which is the backup) which has all my programs and data.  I have a 2nd J: 1 TB (single drive - no raid) drive that I use as my back in-house to my drive c.

I am running in all genres or the problems of Windows 7 as well as running out of space so I would install a new 2 TB drive as new drive c and re - install windows 7 for a clean install on a single partition.  I intend to disconnect my current c drive (which consists of my two disks in a raid 1 configuration) as well as to disconnect the 1 TB drive unique j and connect my new 2 TB drive.  I would like to install a clean version of windows 7.  So my question is this:

If I disconnect all the old disks (c and J) and install a new one and start to load windows 7 on it, the new facility does affect the bios or motherboard settings?

f for some reason so I have encounter problems, can I just unplug my new drive of 2 TB and re - connect my original c drive and drive j back to the motherboard and have it load up as it was before original, I unplugged my old PC would be back up and runing?  Or, install Windows 7 on a new drive change the settings of the motherboard or bios Setup that would prevent me to connect to any return to as it was before I started?

In fact, raid 0 is striated, which means that two readers work as something one 1 TB raid 0 disk is made from two 500 GB drives. RAID 1 is mirrored, meaning that you would have two 1 TB drives each of which is one exact copy of the other. Replacing your hard drive and perform a clean installation of Windows 7 will not change your bios settings. You will need to enter the bios and change the configuration of the training of raid 0 or 1 for sata before install Windows on the new drive. To return to your original configuration and the hard disks, you will need to enter the bios and re - configure the hard drives in the raid 0 array or 1, whatever one you had.
